It was okay. It seemed a little cheap in how you had to go up to order and then you are squinting at the menu when the staff is irritated when you don't know right away what you want and there are so many people standing behind you. I ordered the Captain's plate and I was highly disappointed. The batter was really bland and gross and the same batter was used for everything. I had to peel it off to eat the seafood. My husband said that that lobster roll was okay based on everywhere else that we ate at. But nothing special. My kiddo liked her lobster club. I wouldn't go back here for the price or the quality. To be honest, the first three restaurants that we wanted to go to were already closed. Go somewhere else first

Highly recommend! A cute little restaurant right over the bridge on Main Street. We stopped in because a fellow yelper said the lobster rolls were good. Wow - they were not kidding. The BEST lobster roll I have ever enjoyed. Hands down. And, I've had them in from Vancouver to Boston to Florida. **UPDATE: I've even tried lobster rolls in PEI. This is still the best!! And, a steal at $17CAD The roll is about the size of a large hot dog bun but it was stuffed with very lightly mayo'ed and extremely tender lobster. Killer, really. The French fries were quite good and the poutine was delicious. So glad I stopped by to let a rainstorm blow over before continuing to Moncton.

Stopped by this casual seafood dinner tonight and very glad we did. Ordered the lobster plate. This came with 2 small (3/4lbish) lobsters of excellent quality. The side of a caser salad was "ok" with a bit too much dressing. Make sure to get this plate with garlic butter for dipping! Also ordered the scallops and fried clams. We asked for the scallops to be pan fried. This dish came with a side of fries. There was a huge amount of clams and about 10 or so scallops. Again excellent quality and not at all greasy. The food took no time to be prepared and we picked up from the counter and sat at a nearby table. There are 2 dining rooms and a patio out front with plenty of seating but a lot of people also take away. If I lived in the area this would definitely become a regular place to dine.

Definitely the best lobster we had in all of the Maritimes provinces. We got 2 lobster meals, one with French fries and 1 with sweet protagonists fries. I liked the sweet potato one better. And the lobsters! Omg, so tender and yummy! I can't really describe it well, but it's the best lobster! They were conveniently split in half, which made eating them so much easier. And they also came with servings of garlic butter, 100% better than just regular butter. Service was decent. The waitress did greet us with a smile, which felt very welcoming.

We had the best lobster rolls in our Maritime trip at this place. Succulent chunks of lobster seasoned just right on buttery bread. So good! The scallop platter was amazing as well. A very good amount of scallops lightly breaded and deep fried. They were done perfectly so that the subtle taste of scallop was not overpowered by the breading and were served over a mountain of fries. The chowder was OK and I'd provably skip it next time. The service was friendly and super quick.

We live in Shediac year round and have a few favorite places which operate seasonally- Captain Dans for the big as a baby's head lobster roll, Golden fry for their lobster roll platter, and Lobster Deck for the Clams and Chowder. Lobster Deck has generous portions, excellent fries and lovely crispy battered clams. The chowder is bursting with seafood and the the broth is not clunky or heavy like so many chowders. We love biking here for lunch in normal times, but are very grateful for the takeout option during Covid 19 restrictions. Great place, friendly people and reasonable prices considering the portion sizes. Go support this local gem- you won't regret it.

So good. this was a last minute stop during our road trip and so glad we did!! Lobster roll was delicious, not too much Mayo which I appreciate! Also got the lobster club which is a contender ! Upsized the fries to poutine and all for $42. Expensive but damn everything was finger licking good!!! Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Unfortunately no dogs allowed so we grabbed our food for take out.

I enjoyed this place. I got the shrimp and fried plate. Both were well done. They also had a few beer on tap. On a summer day the outside seating place is nice, not to hot with a nice cool ocean breeze.

Amazing taste of food at this place and humungous servings! One plate of poutine easily feeds two! They claim to be a takeaway but there is ample seating inside and a covered patio! If you go to To Shediac - the Lobster capital of the world - eat here!

Super chill with great sea food. Order at the walk up counter, take a seat on the deck and pick up when your order is called. Excellent local beers on tap-- Pumphouse.
