Osakas is a regular restaurant staple when we go out to eat. There are both good classic dishes you want to eat everytime you visit and a huge menu of new items you want to try. My favourite things to eat here are the Japanese style curry and the Baked lobster roll. Dessert is good but some items are a bit overpriced. Probably the best sushi place in town.

When I'm in Moncton, I always run here. The food is so fresh and delicious. My favorite item on the menu is the Osaka spring roll. It helps that the staff is so frendly.

so awful.. i've been to more than 200 different Japanese restaurants in China, and had never had such terrible food in my life. i understand the food here wont rlly be high quality, but didn't expect the food in this restaurant to be so horrible. so my suggestion is you rlly should either improve the quality of the food or close this restaurant ASAP for gods sake and i really wonder why the color of the salmon in the sushi and the sashimi look totally different.. one looks so red that i even doubt the fish was actually poisoned, and the other is so pale, like dead human body. and none of them has the color of a normal fresh salmon fish meat. is that some kind of new sepecies this restaurant has invented? thank you for preparing this weird, seemingly poisonous, disgusting and terrible lunch which totally spoil my day.

I went to the restaurant side of this place, not the live grill. The decor inside the restaurant is pretty nice, nothing fancy. The menu is fairly large without a large number of Japanese and Korean dishes available for order. The price is a bit more than what one would expect a standard sushi place. We got a good sample of both sushi and entrees. The sushi was fairly good, but there was mixed reaction to the hot dishes. The spicy bulgogi was on par with good Korean restaurants in Halifax, however I had the Gyūdon and I wasn't impressed. The beef didn't warrant much praise and the stir fried veg was too sweet and didn't add much flavour. I ended up wishing I had just gotten sushi. Overall not bad, but the extra $$ makes you wonder if it was really worth it. I imagine there isn't a whole lot of good competition in Moncton for Asian fare.

This was very good. It is located within walking distance of several local hotels. The sushi tasted fresh. Several Asian entree options.

The Baked Scallop roll is truly unique and deliciously garlicky, salmon generously draped the Red Dragon roll, and the salmon Nigiri was the best I've had. I was even pleasantly surprised by complimentary miso soup on the cold day I came in. The restaurant has a zen, yet playful vibe, and I enjoyed the music. Probably the best sushi meal I've ever had.

However, there was a guy working in this place, and I am not sure if he is Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, but he seemed to be a racist. We are a family of five, and we had kids with us. I felt that he didn't want our kids to be noisy, as his expressions were evident every time he passed our table. He greeted every other table with a big smile, but not ours. When we were leaving, my niece and sister made some noise while getting the baby's stroller, and I could hear him say "PATIEEENCEE.." and look at his colleagues while laughing/smiling sarcastically. This behavior felt very discriminatory. He doesn't seem to respect other customers unless he is the one assigned to their table or orders. To the management, please take action regarding this employee. It's humiliating and unacceptable.

There was quite a line here during the lunch rush, which moved along quickly, order and pay first and the food is freshly cooked & grilled down the line. I ordered the Teriyaki Beef ($7.89 plus HST) for my lunch topped with Pan-Asian Temptation sauce. The portion size was good served on a paper plate. The hot teriyaki dish was piled with thick soft udon noodles, a good amount of tender pieces of grilled beef, fresh veggies, and a spicy ginger sauce. The zesty and slightly spicy flavors and the ingredients of the dish meshed very well. I really enjoyed my quick lunch in the food court and I was
