Great sushi and noodles resto! Even the korean sundobu was tasty and spicy! They even gave us free spring rolls and gyozas, so nice!

Second time here and it's even better! Got the seaweed salad and 14 pieces sashimi dinner again. The salmon is so buttery! The portions are generous! My number one sushi stop in Moncton.

It waaaaas amazing!! Sushis were fresh, the hot dishes were big and so good & the cream cheese Jalapeños balls were DELICIOUS!! The place was clean and fun (they also have a patio). They were 2 servers & both girls were so welcoming and kind!! We're originally from Montreal so we usually talk french and they take time to explain to us and make sure we understand all they were saying! Good food, good employees, perfect night!

Excellent food and super friendly service. We had a spicy Korean pork and tofu soup and the 20 piece Sushi plate. Everything was really good.

We almost passed this restaurant as so many people love beer in other pub Lol. I glad my husband and I came back. Their food is really delicious. Fresh, prefect fruit mix with seaweed, even ginger taste fresh. We love all what we ordered. Finally we found a really good sushi in Maritimes.

"A great start on the first day. Skip the Bulgogi and hit the Sushi Bar! Give it a shot, and review away Yelpers!" OK, I'll admit, I'm a little biased. My office overlooks this location and I've anticipated its arrival since early summer to disrupt the comfortable buddy-buddy triad of Pink/DD/Osaka. Sure, the three other sushi locations on Main aren't terrible, but the prices seem a little high for me. I mean, who pays $15 for Bulgogi? I'll start with the opening-day "Cons" so we can forget them for the rest of the review. First: No Booze, so far. The license hasn't come in: no idea when it will. That's fine; down a pint somewhere else before. No sweat. Second: Automatic Paper Towel Dispensers in the bathrooms don't work. Yeah, that's nitpicking, but that's the only other thing worth mentioning. Dinner time: To start, great warm service. Greeted and welcomed effusively, but not in that overly-racist-Kabuki way that others (cough-Osaka-cough) do. Menu, water, and tea flew to the table with smiles all around. After a moment, I order the bento and my already-depleted tea is expediently refilled out of nowhere. The table is set quickly, and I get down to enjoying the smoky Genmaicha that's burning off the last remnants of the frost outside as I survey the menu. I'll post pics as soon as this listing's approved, but it's heavy on complex rolls and other things. I'm dismayed that my Bulgogi - assumed to be a sweet and not a scorchingly-hot one - is one of only a few Bento on the list. I remind myself to try a roll next time. Miso arrives with two slices of fresh mushroom floating on top. The first sip is hot and satisfying, but without the weak, overly-saline flavour of lazy or cheap Misos elsewhere. I down it. The server, returning momentarily with the spoon she forgot the first time ('Who needs a spoon for Miso this good?'), effortlessly offers another soup as she refills my tea. "Hit Me!" Very satisfied, I haven't even thought of my Bento yet. I turn to my phone and when I look up the Bento is flying in. Everything looks good (except for a creamy, nondescript dressing on the salad) so I get to work. Tempura shrimp, yam, carrot, and onion: Delish. Light, crunchy, and not greasy; it delights. 3pc Crab maki: does the trick. There's no nuance in something like mock crab rolls, but they're fresh and firm. Onwards! Creamy dressing salad thing...?: Veggies are great, iceberg is, well, iceberg, but the dressing is sort-of-like what Mom would make if she was trying to make a better, healthier version of Kraft's Creamy Cucumber dressing, but missed the mark. It's not that I hated it, it just reminded me of how much I wished that every Sushi restaurant would do their house dressing like Momoya in Halifax. Oh well, one more of my "five a day." Bulgogi: Definitely the "sweet" kind. Good portion, rice a little loose, however good flavour. I usually love things spicy-hot but it was still good. Nothing to write home about, but it's as good as it gets in this 'hood. Treat: A couple of chunks of perfectly-ripe pineapple on a skewer. Great way to end the Bento, and fill up that fifth compartment. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Plate cleared, tea and water refilled, and left to my own devices I returned to my fondleslab to check the news. My lovely server returned with a treat in a dish. "Is she showing me what I should have ordered instead" I wondered? "Special opening treat;" she said "Would you like to try the Salmon Pizza?" I thought I was full before. It looked delicious, and I acquiesced. PERFECTION! Although smaller than what they sell as a main on the menu, I was in heaven. Frankly, if they sold this same size as a tapas-size appetizer I'd be here weekly once they get the liquor situation straightened out for a pint and a bite after work. A deliciously-crunchy rice patty sitting on top of a just-spicy-enough mayo sauce and draped with salmon and perfectly-ripe avocado slices spotted with roe: Perfect. 6 pieces of spicy, warm-and-simultaneously-cool crunchy-salty-goodness ended the meal wonderfully. I'm not biasing my review because of this delicious gift, but rather instead of it; they were heading to 4.5 territory for great service and cheap, good food on their first day open, but the fact that this came out of the kitchen for free means I had to bump it down to a 4 so I don't inflate the rating after the mirth of this final plate. That said, I'm *definitely* trying more of the rolls/specialties when I'm in next so they can have time to get their Bulgogi on steady ground. Salmon Pizza FTW! Oh, and did I say that after everything my hearty Bento, pre-tax, was less than $9. Yeah, I'm coming back. Miscellaneous: Clean, modern bathrooms (a marvel!). Great service. Nice decor, and dimming the lights will give the place great ambience whenever they find that switch. TL;DR: Cheap, fresh, well-made, hearty. Great service, good variety, cheap. Needs booze, and a spell check on the menu. Did I say cheap? Cheap.

For the east coast, this was pretty good. Sashimi was fresh. Veggie udon was as expected, the veggies were cooked nicely but the stock could be a bit better. The dynamite and California rolls were OK but could have had a bit more prawn and crab respectively. The green tea was with real tea leaves and brown rice (genmaicha) as opposed to a tea bag. The presentation was well done and the service was ok.

This is my second favourite sushi spot in moncton, the food is great and you wont be disapointed by the friendly atmosphere. However, i find the music they play strangley out of place. I wish they focused that aspect around the customers. The lighting is very pleasant. As for the food, this isnt the best sushi you will ever taste, but its different than any other place in a positive way. The taste may impress you! The fried sushi actually suprised me, it was done just at my liking. I rate this place 4/5 stars and will be returning soon!

Great place, great food, excellent service, very friendly and nice staff. We tried the Texas roll, the kimchi, tempura, dynamite rolls flavors were great. We got a complimentary salads and even a complimentary cucumber roll for my kid! The food came super fast.

This is the real deal. Best sushi we've had since we left Vancouver. The presentation and service were great. Very good quality and impressed with location downtown.
