Great service (for what they offer) and very relaxed place but the lobster roll was lacking much for flavor. Small roll on its own for $19.99, with fries for $$24.99. We also have the jr fried clams to give that a try for $16.99 (without fries). These were pretty good but a bit heavy in breading for us. All comes with a little tub of coleslaw. Everything packed to go as well. Would have appreciated a water station too since it's an order and pick up style place with no servers. Overall it was good and nice service (for what they do/ this style) but the lack of flavor and wasteful serving dishes etc brought my score down. read more

We came here after going to the Parlee beach, we ordered the hotdog for the kids and calm strips for ourselves. Hotdog is just hotdog can't complain, clam strips are soooooo good, it's very fresh and generous portion, highly recommend that! The best I have so far, will definitely come back. read more

It seemed a little cheap in how you had to go up to order and then you are squinting at the menu when the staff is irritated when you don't know right away what you want and there are so many people standing behind you. I ordered the Captain's plate and I was highly disappointed. The batter was really bland and gross and the same batter was used for everything. I had to peel it off to eat the seafood. My husband said that that lobster roll was okay based on everywhere else that we ate at. But nothing special. My kiddo liked her lobster club. I wouldn't go back here for the price or the quality. Stopped by this casual seafood dinner tonight and very glad we did. Ordered the lobster plate. This came with 2 small (3/4lbish) lobsters of excellent quality. The side of a caser salad was "ok" with a bit too much dressing. Make sure to get this plate with garlic butter for dipping! Also ordered the scallops and fried clams. We asked for the scallops to be pan fried. This dish came with a side of fries. There was a huge amount of clams and about 10 or so scallops. Again excellent quality and not at all greasy. The food took no time to be prepared and we picked up from the counter and sat at a nearby table. There are 2 dining rooms and a patio out front with plenty of seating but a lot of people also take away. If I lived in the area this would definitely become a regular place to dine. read more

Definitely the best lobster we had in all of the Maritimes provinces. We got 2 lobster meals, one with French fries and 1 with sweet protagonists fries. I liked the sweet potato one better. And the lobsters! Omg, so tender and yummy! I can't really describe it well, but it's the best lobster! They were conveniently split in half, which made eating them so much easier. We live in Shediac year round and have a few favorite places which operate seasonally- Captain Dans for the big as a baby's head lobster roll, Golden fry for their lobster roll platter, and Lobster Deck for the Clams and Chowder. Lobster Deck has generous portions, excellent fries and lovely crispy battered clams. The chowder is bursting with seafood and the the broth is not clunky or heavy like so many chowders. We love biking here for lunch in normal times, but are very grateful for the takeout option during Covid 19 restrictions. Great place, friendly people and reasonable prices considering the portion sizes. Go support this local gem- you won't regret it. read more

We had the best lobster rolls in our Maritime trip at this place. Succulent chunks of lobster seasoned just right on buttery bread. So good! The scallop platter was amazing as well. A very good amount of scallops lightly breaded and deep fried. They were done perfectly so that the subtle taste of scallop was not overpowered by the breading and were served over a mountain of fries. The chowder was OK and I'd provably skip it next time. Great spot for a dinner with the family! Prices range from ~$10-$30 per dish, especially when you are looking at seasonally priced dishes! A lot of dishes are fried or served with French fries, but they give you an option of switching for salad, baked, mashed potatoes, or for an additional price poutine, onion rings, sweet potato fries and mixed green salads. I've eating a lot of take out seafood in my day; and honestly this is some of the best. The place looks like it would be expensive but is actually super reasonable. You also have this great patio right on the main stretch. We snuck in before it got too, too busy but even then food is served fast and efficiently. Best of all, super good. The fish and chip were great. The fries, my least favorite part of any meal were tasty and the claims we had we're among the best. It wasn't greasy or loaded down, just the right amount of awesome. I came here because after reading some reviews on the great lobster rolls I had to give it a try. The lobster roll was very mayonnaise based. That's not really my style. I would have preferred if the lobster was tossed in butter. It tasted like they mixed lobster with imitation crab meat and tossed it in a lot of mayo so it's difficult to tell, but it's possible that I'm wrong. I had dinner with two friends at this restaurant on 8/17. We ordered a lobster platter which contains two small lobsters and a Caesar salad, a pan fried scallop with a salad and a bowl of seafood soup (there is no chowder unfortunately). The lady behind the front desk explained many options to me before we decided what to order. She also offered that scallops could be pan-fried if we don't like traditional way of fry. Lobster Deck was recommended to us by someone at our hotel. I'm so glad he did because it was spot on. We went here on Father's Day before we drove to Prince Edward Island and it was a great start to our day. We first ordered a lobster roll and fish and chips. Our family shared so we got to try a little of each. We loved it so much we decided to get an order of the fried clams. The gentleman behind the counter ordered it as to go, but it didn't make it very far. My parents wanted to try one before it got cold. They said it was good so we all decided to try one too. Let me share that the clams were all gone before we left the restaurant. (Out of the three things we tried, the clams were the best. Don't miss those!) The prices are great, customer service is exceptional, and portions are good. Love this little town and wish I could've spent more time exploring here.
