The "manager" did not seem to know rates or anything related to my personal move. 1. The two movers, instead of three, showed up late. 2. They went throught the house and said that items could not be moved with no reason. 3. The main person was extremely rude and condescending and would not begin the move. What their EVERY move! A couple of months ago, I utilized thos moving service. At the time, I was quite happy. 2 of the 3 movers were nice, courteous and wanted to do a good job. The other was unfriendly, hid alot (so much the other movers would frequently ask where the other was!), and had a general unpleasant vibe about him. Upon the completetion of the move, I was just happy to get it done. I paid and tipped generously (even the unpleasant one). Then, after they left, a family member asked if I had seen what the unpleasant one did. I did not. But according to my my family member, right where the unpleasant one stood, my family member noticed a wallet. It was emptied and it was far away from where the test of my stuff was unloaded (so it's not like it fell out, during the unloading.). I still gave the movers of the benefit of the doubt. Then I started missing things...a lot of things! During the successive weeks, as I was umpacking, I discovered I was missing several items - from important documents to household items. I have been through everything at least a dozen times - nothing. I have no proof; and when thinking back, I remember, as the crew was locking up there rig, I was encouraged to go before them. So, I left them alone with my stuff for a long period of time! I didn't say anything because, again, I had no proof and I was embarissed that I was so stupid to leave them alone with my belongings. But upon thinking about how more people might be victimized, I decided to wrote this review, hoping that it might help at least one person. So whether you use Lobo or another moving company, NEVER leave the movers alone with your stuff! Always have your eye on your possessions and the people handling them! read more

Geramia and Brandon were my movers. I am SO pleased with everything. They were both friendly and professional. Geramia and Brandon both moved at an efficient pace. They weren't dragging their feet and they didn't rush. They were quicker than I thought they'd be. I had about 80 boxes, several small tables, a dresser, end tables, and a bed. I was quoted 2-4 hours and they took just under 3 hours to complete the job. I have unpacked all my breakable items and amazingly, NOTHING is broken. I packed my valuables very well, but to find nothing was broken, was such a pleasant surprise as I feel an item here or there breaking is the norm with moving. I was referred Lobo moving by friends that were very happy with them and now I will refer them to others. I had a very good experience and although I have no plans to move anytime soon, I will use them again when the time comes. read more

After about a month of researching moving companies, we chose Lobo Moving to pack up our 3bd 2bath house and place it into storage. We prepped the house for the white-glove service, and they arrived on Monday. Upon arrival, we discussed with the three movers what was fragile, what was heavy, and any nuances to the house. It took them about 1 day to pack the house and 1 day to move the house to storage about 5mi away. There were some concerns during packing but, after experiencing a few military moves, we weren't concerned as things happen. It was actually red flag number one when we realized that there were car parts left in the truck under a couple layers of blankets when they had stated they were done unpacking and leaving. That interaction was interesting to say the very least. Red flag number two was how the storage units were packed. Fragile boxes stacked on top of each other, furniture shoved in at an angle, miscellaneous little things scattered around, parts to pieces of furniture shoved in corners, framed art unwrapped in a corner, the list goes on. I reached out to Lobo Movers about these concerns, and I was told "they would talk to their crew" and after following up multiple times, they never got back to me. Now that we have moved the house from storage to a new house, the absolutely egregious lack of respect or care that went into packing is laughable. Again, we have a fairly high tolerance after experiencing sub-par military moves. Wine glasses tossed in boxes without wrapping, antiques shoved sideways into boxes now broken into many pieces, a brand-new couch moved on its side ripping a hole into the arm, framed photos and artwork scratched or canvasses punched in. Truly, the list is embarrassing. I reached out again to Lobo Movers and they apologized for never getting back to me. I spoke with Jeremiah Walling the following business day and he requested I complete a damage form. He had no form to be filled out and said that they "like to keep it casual and easy" via email. Red flag number fifteen at this point. I compiled a detailed 15-page PDF with photos of the damage, cost of the items, and replacements where possible. Jeremiah replied to the email the next day stating that we were out of the window for damages. Why did I fill out the damage form if we were outside of the damage window? Great question. Did Lobo Movers attempt to resolve any of the damages? Not even in the slightest. This seriously isn't even good enough for government work, and that's saying something. If you want to spend $3k for a white-glove move for all your things to be damaged and customer service to not exist, Lobo Movers is the company for you!!! read more

Our belongings were relocated from 7303 Montgomery Blvd NE to AAA U Locket Storage, 2125 Moon St NE, on August 30, 2025. The distance between the two locations is only 3. 4 miles. Lobo Moving scratched my brand new Tool Box, which has never had any tools in it in addition to other broken items. On August 31, 2025, I phoned them and recorded the call to inquire about how to submit a claim for the damage. I was informed that the department of transportation is the ones that handle clams. We will be filing a lawsuit with the court for the damages since they do not want to take responsibility. We will also be doing a YouTube video on our experience. I contacted Lobo Moving about unloading a full uhaul truck a couple days before I arrived. They were happy to help and accommodate my schedule. Upon arrival, Greg asked me some questions about the property layout, so he could set items and boxes in the rooms they belong. Greg had Zion helping him and these two were awesome! Both were friendly, courteous, and most importantly, quick! During the move, they asked me questions about boxes I had not fully labeled, which again allowed every item to be placed in the room/area I wanted it. The movers were very nice and the owner was responsive when I set everything up. I was the first job of the day, but the movers showed up almost an hour late. I had to message the owner to find out that the movers were having car trouble and on their way. That's something that happens, but I should have been notified proactively. When they showed up, one mover told me they were even later because they were on the phone with their boss about the next job after mine. It isn't ideal to tell a customer that you came late to their job because you're planning another job. Again, it happens, but use some discretion. They were not very organized at all. Most professional movers I have worked with (I move often for work so this is my 8th time working with moving companies) are decisive and quick and have a strategy when they show up. This was not the case with the two guys who showed up to my job. Again, very friendly people and they handled my stuff with care. Juancarlos and Josh were friendly. This was the worst moving company we've ever used. They were not efficient, couldn't pack this uhaul to fit everything in it. They managed to pack it in it broke things. I had to leave behind a queen bed headboard, two couches, and several boxes, and than proceeded to tell us, we should've gotten a bigger uhaul. They were there for 4 hours!!!!! That was horrible. We hired movers in our new city, took 2 of them 1.5 hours to unload and half the price..... If give them a 0 star if I could! Lobo Moving. Zero Stars- HORRIBLE- My mother hired Lobo Movers because I found them on the Neighborhood App. Originally we scheduled for 11/14/20. When we called on 11/13/20 they said we were not scheduled and they could not move us until 11/15/20. This created several obstacles for us, but we took the appointment for 11/15/20. The movers arrived 20 minutes late, moved as slow as molasses. We had a 2 bedroom apartment to move. All the furniture was disassembled and all our belongings were boxed up and sealed prior. It took them from 9:20 in the morning until 8:00pm to move our things. They also pulled over and picked up if I recall Taco Bell on their way to the unloading location (me and my children saw them) so I don't know if anything else transpired when they were grabbing food. After all the fuss of moving, when we had time to open all of our boxes, we found that we were robbed. We had one box that contained old coins and dollar bills , handed down to us from many generations. We estimate that the coins, bills were valued over $10,000-as many were uncirculated. Somewhere in their long day-the movers must have cut open our box and stole these heirlooms. We filed a police report and spoke with Lobo Movers-who protected the movers and pretty much told us we are out of luck. We made the heinous mistake of using Lobo Moving. We hired them to pack and move us across the city here in Albuquerque. The reason we hired packers is because my husband had shattered his shoulder and couldn't help. I have a full time job and couldn't take the time off. Money was not an object for us. We were able and willing to pay for the services we needed we were not bargain shopping. What we got was a nightmare that cost us over $700. When you pay for packing services they are supposed to pack up each room and label the box. That way you can grab all the boxes that say bedroom for example, and when you unpack them you've got your bedroom ready to go. THAT IS THE POINT OF PAYING A PACKING SERVICE. What we got was a mountain of boxes that included a hodgepodge of things from every room in The house. They were either labeled wrong or not at all, but wait it gets worse. They would take a lamp remove the shade and light bulb and pack them all in different boxes all labled for different rooms. They would take an electronic like a monitor or stereo and remove the power cord and speaker cables and pack them in different boxes. But wait it still gets worse. They also packed actual garbage. Dumped a bowl of glitter in the bottom of a box effectively glitter bombing us in our new home. They taped up my husbands night stand and his desk but went through my night stand and my desk. They dumped my makeup that was neatly stored in my desk into the bottom of a box and touched all my personal objects including adult toys that were put into my night stand because I couldn't imagine they would go through a woman's drawers, but they sure did. We showed pictures and emailed the owner to get a refund. Even a partial refund and he refused to do anything at all about it. We moved into our new house in August and we are STILL unpacking this nightmare. We could have paid a class of first graders in popsicles and got the same results. A vengeful ex would pack up their soon to be divorced unfaithful partner better. We paid over $700 for this service and we were completely taken for a ride and taken advantage of. If you want to spend weeks on weeks unpacking, if you want actual identifiable trash packed, if you want strange men going through your drawers and touching your most personal items, if you would like hundreds of dollars in makeup dumped into the bottom of a box, if you would like to spend a lot of money to have your new home glitter bombed then Lobo Moving packing services are for you. No one would knowingly pay for this service. We would not have had we known. Save your money and please chose any other service. Lobo Moving is a pretty good moving company. It was very easy to make an appointment through the phone and the person I spoke to was easy to communicate with. The day of the appointment the two movers, Carlos and Edgar, showed up a little late, but no biggie. They were able to get started rapidly and in no time were breaking down the furniture. Both of them were fast and efficient in the way they loaded the objects onto the truck. They did confirm the delivery address, but there seemed to have been a misunderstanding or GPS issue. Unfortunately, they did end up getting lost, but called me to let me know they were on the way. They arrived and were quick to move the items into the apartment. Overall, I had a good experience! They took good care of my stuff, even carrying down my computer tower by hand to put in my trunk instead of their truck. They even offered to carry my cat down the stairs for me! Excellent moving company. Have used them now for 2 moves: first one was a full move to a new house, 2nd one was moving out some old furniture we wanted to donate. Because they did such a good job with our first move, we hired them for the 2nd. The competent and professional employees of Lobo Moving made moving day much less of a headache. They arrived on time, and immediately got to work on our apartment. They dismantled the beds, our washer and dryer, and then set them up again perfectly. They were fast at both loading and unloading, and did a great job of placing our furniture. They also liked my dog, and that'll get you pretty far. The only reason that this is not a 5-star review is because a door they removed to place the washer and dryer was subsequently damaged. This was my 3rd move this year (Yep...2020 the year that keeps on giving). All 3 times I hired Lobo Moving to move my heavy furniture. Each time I was very pleased with their work and their attention to protecting my walls, floors and furnishings. I especially want to give a thumbs up (or two) to Manny who was able to reassure me that he could get my furniture into the rooms without damaging my new floors/paint...and he did!
