Chilaquiles

Absolutely lovely experience! We got their right as they opened and got a cozy booth. Big lattes with art, lots of options. It is really warm and rustic in there, very good vibes. I'm gluten free and there was so much for me there. I got a gluten free apple muffin YUM. I also got the chilaquiles and loved them. So many fresh veggies. It was light and delicious and I'd love to recreate it at home. The service was awesome. We felt like family on our first visit! I hope to come back here again.

Quiet sleeper of a brunch restaurant in Dayton. Staff is super sweet and attentive without being overbearing. The portions are large, so come prepared either with an empty stomach or ready to split a dish. Highly recommend the PNW salmon toast (think, smoked salmon bagel but a PNW twist) and the farmhouse breakfast. The lamb burger was a little dry but amazing flavor. Overall, great meal!

We were meeting friends who live in McMinnville so Loam was perfect. Great ambiance in an adorable, charming little gem located in Dayton with their entire menu of fresh, local ingredients. I love Chilaquiles and was excited to see it on their menu. My husband got the Farmhouse Breakfast. We were both pleased with the menu options and how great all the food tasted. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were impressed!

Such a cute lunch spot that happened to be walking distance from our airbnb! I wish we found it sooner than our last day. Our server was super friendly and helpful. The interior of this spot is very cute! We loved that they are farm to table. I got the French toast and it was so delicious. It had a pumpkin filling that was not too sweet but the perfect addition.

**Charming brunch (and dinner!) spot in Dayton -- a must-visit!** We were staying at the Trailer Vintage Resort and decided to bike over to this adorable little place for brunch -- and wow, what a find! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the service was just as lovely. Our server was fantastic -- she went out of her way to make our usually shy 8-year-old feel completely at ease. It's those little things that really stick with you. Now, onto the food: My husband ordered the *Veggie Sandwich*, and I had the *Chilaquiles*. Both were absolutely delicious! We were initially worried the sandwich might be heavy, but it turned out to be fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light. My husband couldn't stop raving about it. The chilaquiles were perfect -- I chose the medium egg, and the mole sauce was rich and just the right amount of smoky. We also tried the daily special muffin (orange-flavored that day), and it was the perfect sweet finish. We loved brunch so much that we came back for dinner that same evening! For dinner, I tried the *clams* -- not the best I've ever had, but still tasty and enjoyable. My daughter had the *grilled cheese sandwich*, and she declared it the best she's ever had (and she almost finished the whole thing, which *never* happens!). My husband's *cedar plank salmon* was cooked perfectly, and the rice pilaf it came with was a great match -- light and flavorful. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and you can really tell that the ingredients are locally sourced. The freshness comes through in every bite. This place is an absolute gem -- whether you're here for brunch or dinner, it's worth the stop!

The best breakfast in Dayton!

Loam is worth the wait - while their hours are limited and they are likely insanely busy on weekends, if you go on a random Thursday like we did, you likely won't need a reservation. The food was excellent- I got the farmer's breakfast and the fatback was the best I've had. My wife got the biscuit meal and loved it too. Servíce was prompt and friendly; the decor was gorgeous and had a refined yet casual vibe. If you're visiting wine country, this is a fantastic brunch spot.

Second time in and was wonderful each time. The house made focaccia bread was so good, we had two orders. Our friends ordered the cedar plank salmon and raved about it. I have to try it next time. They also ordered the chanterelle papperdelle. We ordered the lamb chops and chicken and chanterelle pot pie. Very delicious and service was great.

We tried the seasonal hash, couple kids meals, and a caramel fried chicken with French toast. Everything was so fresh, high quality ingredients, and delicious!

Great fresh breakfast. Place was packed and hopping, but service was really good. The biscuit sandwich is well done with a huge homemade biscuit and fixings. Really enjoyed the chevre donut holes too!

Eggs Benedict and spiked iced coffee

We came in for breakfast on a Sunday and got seated right away. The salmon eggs Benedict was amazing! They spiked iced coffee was so fun. Everyone in our group enjoyed their breakfast, especially the French toast.

Chilaquiles, I added 2 eggs which made this extra yummy!

We rode our bikes over from the adorable Vintages Trailer Resort to this cute locally owned restaurant. The food was amazing, they have comfortable outdoor and indoor seating, and friendly service.

We stopped at Loom for breakfast while we were in town. We had the seasonal berry muffins, pulled Pork hash (special) and the lamb biscuit sandwich. We also has spicy Bloody Mary's. Everything was wonderful and fresh. We will definitely be back.

Well hello again, folks! We know how this goes... I'm a brunch SNOB and it's the most difficult…read more5-star review to get from me. I'm picky and whiny when it comes to perfecting brunch. Crescent Cafe, kudos, you've done it again! We discovered Crescent about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend who used to live in McMinnville. We tried it then and we were very pleased with our experience. We returned again today. Met by a friendly staff, we did have a bit of a wait but that was on us... we failed to make a reservation. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait! They accommodated all 6 of us in less time than predicted. We were seated at a lovely table in the front of the restaurant and met by a lovely waitress who was so bubbly, friendly, and kind. Coffees showed up quickly and our orders were taken quite promptly. The atmosphere was lively and the staff was attentive. Food. They just do dang good here. First, yes we know what is coming now... THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK AN EGG TO ORDER! Second, the food is fresh and piping hot... hashbrowns are perfectly crisp, and the ham was delish! Overall, what more can I say? Huge portions, we each ate / drank cofee for ~$20/each and left with leftover boxes. Crescent Cafe knows how to do brunch. They thrive in all areas, you can't go wrong. Next time you're in McMinnville for the weekend, make sure you stop in for a fabulous brunch!

It was so, so, so good. HEAVEN. I got the daily special of the pastry instead of toast and it was sour cream coffee cake - not too sweet, with the right amount of cinnamon swirl and delicious crumble on top. It was also tender and moist. So good! They also do a mean poached egg (those are hard and can be messed up easily). Friendly service, hometown feel, yummy food.

The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. That one hits like a perfect riff at just the right moment. Sweet, rich, and laid back in all the right ways and like it knew exactly why you showed up. They've got fresh baked goods dialed in too and this is their thing, and you can taste it in every bite. Service? Kinda like a wandering solo... not always in sync, not always warm, but hey the music (aka the food) keeps the whole thing together. In the end, it's one of those places you stumble into and remember later with a smile. If the road ever brings us back through Pacific City, we'll swing by again and let it play on.

The biscuits with my breakfast scramble were also 5-star good for similar reasons. The scramble itself was fine but nothing special. The service was fine. It took awhile to get served and we didn't have a dedicated server, so it was a bit random, but it was fine. It's pretty spacious to handle a fair number of customers. It was pretty busy in a Friday at 10 or so. The oat milk served in the side with my coffee was nice. It was a solid experience. Definitely come for the scones as they were amazing!
