First - the Cons…read more Hours are less than desirable. 8 to 6 Monday to Friday, no Saturday. Hard to get to when you work the exact same hours over an hour away. Some of us work for a living. Communication can be lacking. Updates on items / processes are hard to come by. Pros - Had a Streamlight go bad within a few months of purchasing it. Did not buy it at Streichers, but Streamlight website said to send to an authorized repair center, which is Streichers in Butler, WI. It was the closest to me, I thought that is the best to do. Sent the flashlight VIA UPS. No confirmation they received it or what they were going to do. However, I got a voicemail a few weeks later that the flashlight was ready for pick up at their store. I called and left a message saying it's hard for me to get to the store by 6pm, and to let me know about shipping as I had no problem paying for shipping cost. No call back, however - did receive a brand new flashlight in a nicely packed box the next week. NO charge for shipping. I was very pleased at the end result, for both Streicher's and Steamlight (great warranty). Just wished they would communicate a bit better. Overall a solid 4 stars and definitely pleased at the result.

Selection = ***** Pricing = *****…read moreCustomer Service = ***** If you are driving from MKE or surrounding areas it is really not that far of a drive as I expected. Cabela's specializes in hunting, fishing, boating, and camping merchandise that has been a subsidiary of Bass Pro Shops. So if you are in the need for something in this area, Cabela's has it. I did a quick internet search of the product I was looking for and Cabela's had the best price. The store is huge, but I've been told the Cabela's in Memphis is 10 times the size with the boats in a pond in the store with restaurants and a hotel on the top story. The service was outstanding. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. For the stock, variety and price, I'd make the drive. I was in so much awe that I didn't take many pictures. I'll add when I visit again.

As with other Cabela's locations, it's huge. One fun fact I didn't realize? They sell boats. I also love that Cabela's usually has a small aquarium area featuring various local fish varieties. When you're new to an area and maybe not as familiar with the local species of fish, it's nice to see them up close. The service is always friendly and accommodating and the prices are on the high end of average. If you need pretty much anything for hunting, fishing, camping, or any other outdoor life, Cabela's will have you covered and the experts to answer all your questions. Get to it!

NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I know NOTHING about firearms, but, for various reasons,…read morerecently decided to get a rifle. Craig and Becky could have been judgmental of my novice status, but instead, not only welcomed me and treated me with respect and dignity, but really helped me get what I wanted. Craig guided me to buy a .22 rifle as a starter rifle, to get used to shooting comfortably. Then, when I wanted the Ruger Walnut stock on a rifle that came originally with a composite stock, he and Becky started a month-long journey of finding the stock, realizing the trigger guard was attached to original stock, ordering that, finding out internal pieces didn't fit and grinding the inside of the stock down to fit them, finding the trigger guard well was shaped differently and chiseling that out, finding the screws were too short and getting new ones that fit. It was nothing short of amazing. With this first gun, I wanted something special, and for me that was the Walnut stock - I got even more than that - a beautiful custom rifle which I am so happy with! Now, I'll be taking a rifle course with one of them to help me start my journey! I have rarely received such wonderful customer service nor met such great people. Please go here if you are looking for new or used guns AND great, knowledgeable people to buy them from. Whether you know nothing or everything about firearms you will not be disappointed!

That said the selection is absolutely fantastic and the pricing seems to be pretty much in line with SRP for anything that does not have fancy work done to it. Speaking of fancy, if you want to see all of their amazing abilities to coat and cut and customize then this is the sort of place to be. I ended up going with a new nine that I'm super excited about and background came back super fast.
