Do NOT purchase a gift card online. I purchased one on Dec 6th for a Christmas present for my nephew. Despite several calls to customer service, I never received it. Last week I called yet again, and they said they would be emailing me a digital card replacement. Again, I didn't receive it. When I called yet again, I was told a new physical card was being sent to me. As of now, it has not been sent out. At no time when I have called, was the option available to just get my money back. Went in to grab a firearm , some guy named Cd c in firearms was the worst to deal with . Just very slow took him over 20'mins to find a box then asked another guy in firearms who found it in under 2 mins . So we do the paperwork.... Background was under review ok that's fine days go by... so I call the store and they transfer me to firearms department and the same older gentleman named Cdc is saying it may take days ( witch my record is spotless background nominally takes 10 mins ). So I asked him to review the paperwork again he submitted, he blows it off as if I'm trying to assault him on his work .... 4-5 days go by no firearm so I go to cabelas to buy this this exact firearm in under 40 mins ! I have been trying to get over here for a while and today I finally did, I go to the other place but I look at both weekly adds with the intention of checking them out. I'm just going to comment on the store and not the Automotive repair aspect of the business, that's a whole can of worms for that part of the industry because perception and miss understanding between both sides have been around as long as people have had automobiles and needed them fixed. The store it self is way bigger than it looks and is similar to Walmart with more meat and potatoes items that people want all across the board, not every stupid little thing. It reminds me of department stores from an earlier time which have all but disappeared, my mom dragged me to them as a child as their time was ending and they left the landscape. I wandered the store looking at everything and picking up items, some from the flyer and some things I needed which could be similar to a Walmart but I noticed something, this has a small town community feel vs the big commercial store experience. It seemed like a family outing thing to do and not just a retail experience by observing the people shopping today. There was generally some good prices on the items which explains the popularity of the place and just a nice shopping experience vs a Walmart, the kids were better behaved. Holy Christmas! This is one of the larger stores compared to the fleet farm in West Bend. I Like this place it has almost every thing you could ever need at one place. The problem is you have to get ready to walk because it is huge inside. They have average hand tools and Pretty good selection for hunting camping and fishing supplies, clothing, household goods, and they were working on a toy section which was closed off in the center, Top secret. Santa set up retail outlets to supplement his income elves got to put food on the table too as they were setting up shelves. The 2 rangefinders were sitting out on the counter and the customer service guy tells me it could be up to another 2 hours yet for the order to be filled. The product was right there in the store. My option was to cancel my order and just buy the items. What kind of service is that. now i see why the reviews of this place are less than 3 stars already. will never make a purchase there again. To many other stores that sell sporting goods to get treated like this. Regardless of the mask mandate, and the doors I have a sign saying you must wear a mask, there were several gentleman who are not wearing masks in the store today. I was at customer service and questioned why they were not enforcing the mask mandate, and my response was and I quote, it's not worth getting punched out for. This is the third day in a row that I had to go in there and I thought I was in a safe shopping store. They are not the mask police I was also told, so I will not be going back there. People love to gripe and complain about automobile service centers and it's seldom I read about great experiences. This is one about a great experience. Milwaukee has a reputation, certainly deserved, for potholes large enough to swallow a Buick. A pothole the other evening didn't swallow the Buick but it did blow a hole in the sidewall of the right front tire to turn it into a beaver lodge. AAA was summoned and soon the Buick was back on the road, with a Dunkin' Doughnuts spare tire on the right front and the destroyed tire in the trunk. New Year's weekend, of course. My regular shop was not open and it's a good idea to replace the fantasy spare as soon as possible. Fleet Farm's automotive center was open on Saturday, although very busy. They were able to mount and balance a new tire for me, but too late in the day to retrieve it. The automotive center was open on Sunday morning, and I was there at opening to get the tire. I asked if it was possible for someone to put it on the car for me. Keith not only swapped the new tire for the spare, he replaced the doughnut in the spare tire well, which required removing a bunch of stuff from the trunk to get to the well. A tip o' the hat to Keith and the Automotive Service Center at Fleet Farm. He went above and beyond the call of duty and I am grateful to him. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR AUTOMOTIVE WORK. I set up an appointment to get my tires changed weeks ago. They were having a buy-3-get-1-free deal so I called and set up an appointment. They were a couple of weeks out but I'd still get the deal. Today I got to the appointment, dropped off the car, and was paged within 10 minutes. They never ordered my tires and had none in stock. I drove 45 minutes to get there which I guess I should have known was dumb, but it was recommended by a family member in the area so I went for it. They could get the tires tomorrow! Very unhelpful. Or, surprise surprise, I could get the tires they have in stock, which were 50% more, with no BOGO deal. And the manager who could negotiate was on lunch. The lady at the counter told me the manager would call me. He hasn't called, and at this point, there's not much he could say to get me back in the door. Support your local small auto shop, I guess! Got gas at Deforest WI CStore. They now changed to pay before you pump. I went in to see how I could put on my charge card before I knew how much gas I needed? Lady told me put an amount and it would credit me the difference if you do not pump that much. It did not! Credit card statement shows full amount! It is only about $3.00 but I called customer service and she transferred me to Deforest and no one picked up! I will NEVER get gas there nor shop in the store. read more

I popped into fleet farm for a Xmas tree stand that I couldn't find anywhere else. I haven't been to fleet farm I years and expected to find another dying retail chain. To my surprise, the place had quite the buzz about it. There were aisles of decorations at a great price and I was able to get my other shopping done too - who knew they had a housewares department?? The staff was extremely friendly and happy to help. Checkout was quick - love that around the holidays. A+ store that I will keep in mind for future endeavors. read more

Back here again to do a tire rotation because its free for buying the tires with them.(4 new suv tires) Today is the 14th and the earliest they can do a tire rotation is next month the 1st. I dont know why it even needs a apointment when all they have to do is lift the car up take tires off then put right back on. Im very disappointed with the service here. I guess since its free you gotta put up with the crappy service. I bet if i would to call to install tires it would be a diff story. I honestly never imagined doing a review of Fleet Farm, but here I am. What I once wrote off as a "farming place" that I had no place in has turned into somewhere I could easily do a lot of my home-repair shopping. The parking lot is a little bit weird, and I wish there were a few more entry ways to get in, as the cars tend to botleneck into Appleton Ave. Once you walk in, it can be a little overwhelming, and I've had to ask the staff where things were at times. This store is huge! You can find anything for your home or home repairs here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Checkout lanes are well-staffed and I've never waited in a line longer than a few minutes. Prices are very low in comparison to other stores like Home Depot or Menards. They also offer bulk candy and nuts. Come here for your holiday baking needs! It's pretty much a one-stop shop, and I'm always happy when I can find everything I need in one place. read more

I recently called the automotive department to inquire about Cooper tires for our 2016 Equinox. Employee Jamie was knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. I agreed to an appointment the next day. I was told it would take 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours to do the job. I was very satisfied with the service. I was so glad to get this job done so quickly, without having to wait a long time for a date. I noticed the yelp ratings and that they were not that current. I had a vehicle done there a few months ago and was well pleased with the outcome. I do highly recommend the Fleet Farm Automotive shop and am sure there were many other customers that are well satisfied but did not bother to leave a review. I'm a little upset about my brand new tires I bought WITH the warranty for the gf's expedtion limited last year. She ended up w two separate bolt punctures so we took the tires back to be repaired only to be told we need new tires again. I ask "what's the warranty cover" and they said "punctures up to 5000 miles". We put on 15,000 miles but the tires look great! Then then said the new tires are half price which is a great deal but my current tires look fine. Great store, just not happy with today's business. I don't recommend purchasing the warranty with your tires. Btw, they would not plug our tire, we brought it with in my truck. Went inside and spent $2.50 on a plug and glue and fixed it at home. It's fine, and if it blows out, I'll buy new tires.....elsewhere read more

I would give one star, but my family knows one of the higher-ups there and he is always wonderful when we need help. The one star would go to an occurrence my father and I had while trying to buy a gun license for deer hunting back in November. While we were waiting in line a woman comes out (I'm assuming a manager) and orders one of the workers to go to the back and get some paperwork done. She then waves her hand at the line and snaps "they can wait". The worker obviously saw how understaffed they were in the service area (compared to the open and empty check out lines with bored employees) and continued to help us as quick as she could. The woman appeared again and snapped again to which my father (who rarely ever interferes) spoke up in defense of the worker. The woman loudly exclaims to my father that maybe we all shouldn't have waited until the last week to get a license. My father quickly replied that it's called customer service. Another shopper also said it's not like the date changes, ever, so they should know it would be busy. I was absolutely shocked by how rude this woman's body language was toward all of us and how dismissive she was of customers. The workers were extremely nice and of course, we reported this to the higher-up that we know. It's a little disheartening as well to think that this woman doesn't understand that for some of us this was the only time we had to buy a license (my father works swing shifts and I have two jobs and full-time college) and some of us have to take off for opening weekend. I use to come there all the time. Now I will go anywhere else to get even my hunting licenses. I purchased a battery from them and it had a top protecting grid on the top. I really didn't look it over or anything ( I didn't think there was a problem). Well when I got it home and took the protective grate off and saw a tear in the top. I promptly brought it back to exchange it with receipt ( I had it less the 15min) and they would not exchange it. The manager who helped us (her name was Melissa) was rude and you could tell really didn't want to help us. Drove an hour out of my way to come to this location, as it was the nearest that had the product I was looking for. I ordered online for in store pickup. Took a ridiculously long time for the woman at the gate to understand what I was there for, then when I tried to leave I sat for 15 minutes while she then attempted to allow me out of the yard. Blamed it on the computer, and this part of the experience wasn't a really big deal, just thought I would mention it as a heads up that your online pickup may not be very convenient....the product I ordered is a 48" agri-fab plug aerator. This product comes with complete assembly required, which I was aware of, and allotted for on my day off...began assembly and right away was missing a piece!!! Called the manufacturer and they were somewhat helpful, and said the piece would be mailed the next day, and I could expect it in a week!!! I explained that this is a huge inconvenience and was told that they couldn't do anything refund wise, and that would be handled by the store I purchased the product from. Called fleet farm and spoke with customer service and told them my issue. I was told they won't deal with this over the phone, and that I would have to bring the product back to the store so they could verify the problem. I understand that they don't want to be scammed over the phone, but I have a 200+pound aerator in pieces and partially assembled in my garage, trying to stuff that all back in the box and drive another 2 hour round trip, not gonna happen. Wasn't looking for half off or anything, even just 10 bucks to say, hey, sorry for the inconvenience, here's some gas money...but unfortunately they were not willing to do even that. I had a similar situation with Lowes when I purchased a storm door and unpackaged it and found some minor damage. They gave me 20$ off, no questions asked. Purchased a tire protection policy...came in because my tire was low and not holding air, was told I had to have an appointment and their waiting list was 2 weeks long. They did end up looking at the tire right away ...it needed to be replaced, and we authorized them to get us a new tire. Now have been sitting here for an hour and a half for 1 tire! What is the sense of purchasing a warranty if you don't even get good service to start with. Maybe instead of having three employees standing and chatting at the counter, they should have one or two of them in back working. read more

Bought 4 new tires. I had consistent leaks in the two front tires. I have brought the car back 2 times for the problem. The auto shop employee says the tires weren't leaking when I brought the car back the second time. I know there was a leak. They say aluminum rims are a problem. But they say there was no leak. Go figure. I am now home from my second trip back to Fleet Farm Auto service. The two tires are not leaking. They put sealant on. Why didn't they do that the first time? read more
