My brother recently passed away with a large firearms collection. I called most of the shops in the area to try to get the most money out of his guns, ammo and reloading stuff. Of the 7 shops I called, 4 told me they wouldn't be interested in coming to his house to look at it, that I would have to drag it all in. No way that was happening as it was 3 truck loads of stuff! One of the other shops said they wouldn't purchase out right they would only consign. The next store came out looked at everything and were only interested in certain things, but I wasn't interested in piecing out the collection. Chris & Jake from Select Fire came out first thing the next morning. Spent time looking through everything then handed me a detailed offer of each firearm and a total price with all of the extras. I had done extensive research with my nephew, who is into guns. And the offer they made was right inline with everything I was expecting to see after we researched online. They took everything in 2 trips. These guys are absolute top notch! Very friendly, easy to work with and fair. They advertise a lot of scary looking guns, but my brother was a huge hunter and target shooter. Most of his guns were shotguns and scoped rifles, so I honestly did not expect this to be the store that I would be cutting a deal with. But they apparently run online auctions and have a market for this stuff. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided and can't recommend them enough to anyone who is looking to move a large gun collection. Thanks again guys! Randy Peterson read more

New look, old rudeness. They sold me what turned out to be the wrong part, nobody smiled, I was told to wait a few minutes to check out while the guy was sitting in front of the register counting something, and nobody had any interest in helping me. I felt like I was bothering them. They do have good stock of guns and ammo, but the prices are a bit high for the area. read more

First off I need to say something about the selection, it's AWESOME!!! BCM, ADM, Knight's Armament who locally has all those on the wall at the same time. So many NFA items too. I went in for a suppressor but had no idea what I wanted. Josh was very helpful from start to finish, even helped me set up the two accounts I needed. I decided on a CAT and from everything he said about it, it's just what I needed. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the lady who ran my background was also a pleasure to chat with. 10/10 will 100% be coming back again. read more

Great selection. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Sales and promotions offer great deals. Machine gun shoots are a super fun experience. If I've ever had anything to sell they offer reasonable pricing for what I brought in and the condition it was in. read more

Won't be back. Placing this Called to speak to a manager after they responded my and my husbands reviews saying we were criminals and claiming straw purchase. They admitted to profiling me after requested information on a Micro Draco. They lied and said said they don't offer the gun, but they do. They then admitted that they profiled me on being a woman as most women "buy this for their men". (Straw purchase mentioned below) I should note that I did use my phone while inside to talk to my husband regarding their stock- they did ask me to not use my phone inside. I shut off my phone and left. The manager was sure to note that it was rude for my one star review I made a decision about their store while only being in there for five minutes, but he himself profiled me in even less time than that and decided I was a dangerous customer. The adult man said I wouldn't let him speak, which I didn't because he continued to misquote the words I said during the connection I had while inside the store yesterday. He then hung up on me. Their response to both my and my husbands reviews was that we were criminals and were looking trying to make a straw purchase. Women beware. Almost two decades in this industry and I've never met such children. Which is definitely saying something. Do not spend your money here. read more

I am a dealer in California ... bought the firearm from them ... they shipped it without any magazine ... I tried to communicate twice by email and by phone explaining that I am the dealer ... they refused to send any magazine ... customer services is zero. read more

I brought in 2 rifles to sell. The guy who determined how much they would offer spent most of his time telling me why he couldn't offer more. Whether or not anything he said was true is anyone's guess. Unless you know a lot about the value of old guns, you are at their mercy. I came away feeling like I got lowballed. read more

Great selection, reasonable prices, bought and SL8 and it was easy. I would definitely buy here again

Amazing staff and Amazing place, recommend you go take a look for yourself. Thank you select fire!

The customer service there is horrible. I walked in and no one greeted me. Not once did anybody ask me if I needed help after looking at firearms for 20 to 25 minutes. Looks like the hand guns in the case were just thrown in there. I bought three firearms from there two years ago. I will never go back. read more

Select Fire Weaponry was by far the best gun buying experience I've had. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall genuinely nice guys! I was between two different hand guns and they helped me make the best decision- even threw in a free t-shirt! If you're looking for a fair priced, well run shop that won't treat you like a criminal (Cabela's gun counter) I would absolutely recommend you pick up your next firearm at SFW. Thank you Mike, I will definitely be back again. read more

Select Fire Weaponry - Gen 4 Glock 19 in Flat Dark Earth - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Waukesha, Wisconsin

They did not have a clue as to what my 1943 1911 colt was worth. They still tried to steal it- as it turned out by over $3000 less than what I was able to sell it for from a reputable and knowledgeable buyer. The person I dealt with did not have accurate knowledge of the pistol in question and they were very dismissive when I tried to point out the facts. Do not deal with this place without 2nd opinions. read more

Buyer beware. They are either crooks or incompetent. Either way not what I'm looking for in a fire arms dealer. Had a simple rifle consignment sale. After two years, called to pick up the rifle. Was told it sold 2 weeks back. Wow. I was told the check would be mailed in a couple of days. Never arrived. Called today (6 weeks later) and got a new story. Told the gun sold almost a year ago. WHAT??? Told a check was mailed out a year ago. A check I never received and it was not cashed per their records. When asked to explain the discrepancy they said they were checking. No explanation as regards the disparity between stories. These guys sell guns? These guys have an FFA? Sad. So if I had not called, what then? You can definitely find better customer service. Crooks or incompentance? You decide. UPDATE: An hour later.... Chris from Select Fire Weaponry just showed up at my door with a check and appology. He "wanted to make it right". I told him he did. Can't explain what occurred, but they stepped up and took the care of the situation. That counts to me and speaks well of their character. read more

I've been a customer here for a little more than 3 years. They really treat their customers well and each employee takes time to answer any question and get to know your taste in firearms. They will help you install everything from optic sites to grips free of charge. Large selection of firearms everywhere from antique to modern. The customer service and the knowledgeable staff make this place great, I'd you're in the greater Milwaukee area check these guys out they won't disappoint. read more

Select fire weaponry is without a doubt the best shop in the area. Friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable staff. They were able to find parts for my Sauer & Sohn 38H. Which by the way do not exist. After nearly a year of searching, scouring the internet for parts and even fabricating parts. They took a firearm that hasn't functioned for nearly 60 years and made it work again. I cannot thank them enough. They have a Silencerco kiosk in shop making NFA transfers easier. They are the only shop that I know of in the area with such a device. For now their full auto selection is lacking but that will change. Their suppressor selection is great. And prices are some of the best in the area. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Chris & Peter. read more

As a first time buyer, I have to say these guys were awesome. They were helpful, patient, and did not make me feel stupid despite me asking about a million questions. They narrowed down choices that would be good for what I want and need. They helped me look at a selection that would work for me. I LOVE my 9mm that I ended up getting, and I will certainly come back for any future purchases. (This was in Waukesha, not San Francisco.....) read more
