    I have purchased a lot of parts from LMC for my Chevy Square Body pickups and have never been disappointed in the product or the service. I have tried some other suppliers that were less expensive and found that the parts didn't fit. With every part I have purchased from LMC the part fits. I am currently working to restore my 5th square, this one for a disabled Vet's Daughter. We are nearly done and LMC has been awesome to deal with once again. This isn't a show truck, but it will be her Daily Driver.

    Jeff, supervisor at LMC Truck and his team are terrible at customer service. I ordered a part on their website, the description shows one image but when I received it, it was different. I spoke with their CSR who sent me an image and the part was for an LS Truck not a 383. She said I could return it for full refund but I'd have to pay for shipping. I told her, I paid for shipping for you all to send to me and paying for shipping to send something back your website description is inaccurate. Her firm position was yes. She came back and offered to slip the cost which didn't make sense. Then I get Jeff! I'd fire Jeff if he worked for me because he clearly lacks the ability to listen to understand and does not have any empowerment to do right by their customers. I've ordered, over the years, a number of parts for my classic truck. I'm a repeat customer but after this experience and employees like Jeff who want to quote polices and not do the right thing for an existing an repeat customer...I'd rather take my business elsewhere. I asked how to I get in contact with the CEO of the company and he said he could not provide that information but his managers name was Montoya and I can email the Customer Care email address online, attention Montoya. I will find a way to write to the CEO but this is my first avenue.

    Go out of business pay employees better better benefits treat people better sell quality parts get rid of the cheap china parts

Their prices and selection are in line with with their competitors, but where they get you is on shipping and handling charges. For example, I placed an order with LMC and Classic Truck Parts the same day. Both orders arrived the same day and both boxes weighed almost the same. LMC charged me $23.75 shipping and handling while Classic Truck parts charged me just $7.95. In todays tough economy, I can not afford to waste money on over inflated S&H charges, I would rather put the money into parts for my truck. Plus most online retailers offer super low or free shipping these days. LMC's shipping and handling charges need to be brought more inline with todays market. You can bet the next time I need parts for my classic truck, I won't order from the company that overcharges me on shipping and handling.

I called and spoke to three different people before the last guy told me to pay the shipping back to them and the part would have to go through their Quality control department then they would make a determination if it was indeed defective before they would credit me for it. Update I have since also discovered that the mounting holes for the door handles I purchase from LMC Don't line up either. I have since used and would going forward Highly recommend using AMD American Metal Direct for all of my part needs.

    Rush Truck Center Olathe sold us a 2019 Hino box truck that had been in 2 accidents but never…read moredisclosed it to us. (according to carfax) This truck was sold to us under the guise of a well maintained fleet vehicle, it wasn't. I was told that the mechanic who did the inspection no longer worked there, how convenient. During the first 30 days the waterpump went out. Next the floor was so badly decayed that the forklift loading it almost fell through the floor. Next in October, during a routine oil change, we found out that the u-joints and air suspension were bad. The repair shop told us that there was no way that they didn't know if they truly inspected the truck. Next up the truck needed a wiring harness which took them about a month to sort out. Finally we found out that the radiator was clogged with red clay dirt. We don't do any business in Oklahoma, but we pass through it on the highway. Every time this truck breaks down, we lose tens of thousands of dollars. How does anybody run a business with a truck like this that was never road worthy? I asked Matt Getz the GM, and he stated that they run reports similar to carfax and they have a process in place, really? Either way they should've known that this truck had been in two accidents and never should've been sold to us at a premium price! Would you buy a truck from them if you knew it had been in two accidents? We were completely deceived!! You be the judge.

Mind you, I called them that Friday before and Ryan told me they weren't busy and can get me in ASAP. Once I finally get the quote, $146 in parts to go along with $1100 in labor. Give me a break. A week later, it's finally done. Except it's not done. "What we thought would fix it didn't really fix it." I tell them I want to pick it up immediately and tell them to cease work. "Well we haven't done the oil change yet, do you still want that done?". Of course I do, considering you told me it was already done. Pick it up, Ryan doesn't even look me in the eyes, ashamed much? Get it home. The next day, my brake indicator light is on and blinking (even when not engaged). I send him the video and ask for help. I didn't blame him or accuse. He says, "fluid levels were fine at time of service". I again for help, and get "not sure". Stay away from these guys. Highway robbery and seemingly no competence.

    When we walked in the worker was on the phone with a customer. Another employee came through the…read morefront door and walked right past us and proceeded to stand in the back and hide, trying to look busy. When the first guy finished his phone call, he didn't even acknowledge us, but immediately took another call, without a word to us. After waiting for about 5 minutes without anyone even saying anything to us, returned our stuff to the shelf and walked out. Neither employee bothered to see if we needed help. We drove to the O'Reilly's down the street and were immediately helped, and drove right past the advance auto, probably faster than we would have been helped if we had stayed. The parking lot was empty, most likely because of the poor customer service. BTW, O'Reilly's had a full parking lot, and 3 people being helped at the counter, and we still had someone help us right away. Most likely not going to bother shopping here again. There's 3 other auto parts stores within a mile or so. Id give them zero starts if it were an option.

There's nothing more maddening than having a car in the air, especially if it's the only car you have at the time and end up with the wrong part. These staff need more training to be able to pick the correct part once you've explained the exact car you have. I will be going elsewhere.
