I just had an amazing experience at this AutoZone. Both of the gentleman there were very helpful, but Rich stood out from the crowd. I came in for testing to see if my battery was bad and it definitely was! Now, it's part of their normal promised service to replace a battery for free, but mine was extra special. The main terminal was completely corroded as well as being too big to get back onto the new battery. So he had to find a new terminal for me, but in order to put it on, he spent almost an hour working over the hood of my car in the cold and wind. Plus there were other customers to help in the meantime! The only cost was to pay for the new terminal cap piece. There was no cost for his labor at all. Rich was kind, patient, very understanding, straightforward, helpful, and more. When I tried to give him a tip of thanks at the very end, he said "thank you, but no thank you" and that the best way to show him thanks was to just keep smiling for the rest the day. I had a repair that was urgent and was able to locate all three of the parts online... and all three available in-store for pickup. I showed up and watched as Frantzy, Tlvis and Sam executed a five-star three man weave, retrieving my order and checking me out. They were friendly, upbeat and they had me on my way in under 5 minutes! I wish there were a "sixth star" for the experience I had at Autozone (135th and Brougham) in Olathe KS tonight! read more

I went to AutoZone over the weekend when my battery light came on in my car I was greeted by a gentleman named Michael, who is very helpful and took time to run and check on my battery and on my alternator. He gave me a range of what the part might cost and what I was looking at in the future as far as repair. I really appreciate the time he took to work with me I will definitely go back to the store, Michael is a great employee. read more

The agent that first assisted me was courteous and tried to be helpful. He sold me a part and told me if it didn't fit, I could return it. It did not, and when i attempted to return it. the agent was not there and the new agent told me that "he didn't roll that way" or some BS like that. Luckily the first agent returned, and I was able to get a refund. The new agent was rude and seemed stoned or something, he didn't even try to help me find the right part. I decided to take my business elsewhere and burned out of the parking lot all pissed off. read more

I like this place mainly because the employees are extremely helpful. They'll help you figure out what you need if you don't know and sometimes even come out and help you with your car. I'm just impressed by their level of service. You can also take your car there if the check engine light comes on and they'll hook this little thing up to read the code to tell you what they problem is. Plus it's FREE! That'd cost $50-85 around here at a auto shop. Then once you know the issue they'll help you take care if it if they can. I'm glad to have this place near by, I'd certainly recommend them. read more

I'm a loyal customer to Autozone but today was one of the worst experiences I've had there. While waiting in front of the line waiting to pay, the older Caucasian male cashier clearly overlooked me and asked the younger Caucasian male behind me if he was ready to pay. The male looked at me confused and told me to go ahead, we both noticed that I was clearly ignored. At the register the older male seemed surprised when I walked up to pay instead. Because of this uncomfortable situation I won't be returning to this Auto Zone but choose Walmart or O'Reillys instead. read more

Awesome place! My front headlight was out so I came here to buy a replacement. Not only was it incredibly cheap, but the super friendly employees offered to put it in for me. I did not have a good experience today when I really needed help. I was planning to get groceries with my toddler son when my check engine light came on. I pulled into this location's parking lot to get a reading. The employee came out to my car and asked me to start it, so I tried to, but it wouldn't start. He did the reading and walked inside. I followed him and he said, "You need a new battery", printed off a piece of paper, handed it to me and walked away. I went outside in the 30 degree weather with my little boy and tried to use my hand held jumper myself to try to jump start my own car since the employee didn't seem interested in helping me. No offer to help, no niceties, no politeness or manners, no concern that I was now stranded in his parking lot and may not have anyone to help me out. I struggled in plain view right in front of the store for about 45 mins before I was able to get ahold of a friend to help me. When the friend showed up, the employee then comes out with jumper cables, grunts for me to turn my car on and then walks away once it starts. Completely horrible customer service and not even kind treatment even on a human being level. Not sure why this guy thought I was beneath him but wow. He shouldn't have a job. Go elsewhere that has nice employees. read more

I've been a member of Auto Zone since I was 19 yrs old. I've received services nation wide because I travel often, and lived in 2 different states. This store is definitely my favorite, because of the wonderful, and hard working staffs. This is my one, and only go to store in KS. Exceeded customer service experiences: 1. I stopped by the store today at 8:57PM. I needed a new battery for my TL. The purchase was finalised at closing time. Once I got into my vehicle, tried to turn my ignition on, and my battery failed again. Sergio notice we needed help. Without hesitation, he went back to the store twice just to bring us tools to jump start my vehicle, and to changed the battery while the other sales associate was in a hurry to leave, and was reluctant to help us. I need my car for work tomorrow, and it was unfortunate that we went to the store last minute. Thank you for staying after hours to help us get situated. You have made my day, and I'll always remember you. 2. My boyfriend's credit card was rejected while purchasing an item, and he was short $3.00 in cash. Randy was the service provider, and gave my boyfriend money to cover the rest of the payment out of his own pocket. Because of his help, my bf saved the hassle of taking an extra trip back home, and wasting gas and time. He made our experience very convenient, and beyond satisfying. We revisited the store couple days after to return the money that was given, but Randy refused our offer. A week later, I personally delivered a bow of homemade soup because I strongly felt I had to return the favor. Due to the experience we had with Randy, we always hope to see him working at the store each time we stop by. I want to furthur extend my gratitude to Randy. Thank you for going out of your ways just to help my boyfriend though you didn't have to. I've always enjoyed our smalls talks over our interest about cars, and I'd love to learn more from you. You are selfless, and you have a hearted of gold. I just want to let you know that you are my favorite. We definitely need more people like you in this world. Hope to run into you again. I had some car issues and I thought it was the battery or alternator. I pulled into the AutoZone parking lot and went in an asked to have my battery tested. They tested the battery (5 years old) and it was bad. I went in to pay and while I was paying they swapped out the old battery for the new. Very painless and quick (15 minutes). read more

A big shoutout to Randy at the AutoZone 135th St store in Olathe. We needed at battery change and he was more knowledgeable and swift in its quality and replacement in our Kia Soul than I ever could have been. I've exchanged a number of them over the years but it would have taken me at least an hour to figure out how this one was held in place. Great people and tons of help, they didn't think twice about helping me fix my truck, I'm traveling through from MN.

Some of the WORST customer service ever. Returned an old starter to get coil deposit returned. Somehow employee messed it up so had his boss try to fix it. His boss couldn't so he had to call his boss. In this store over 30 minutes and NEVER ONCE an "I'm sorry" or any other apology, more treated like I was an inconvenience to them. I wouldn't even give one star but that is the lowest I could go. Never coming back here. read more

I wnt there today,,.the engine lite is on in my moms car.....Ron was so helpful & courteous....he did the diagnostic & went over the report & the codes.
