Their prices and selection are in line with with their competitors, but where they get you is on shipping and handling charges. For example, I placed an order with LMC and Classic Truck Parts the same day. Both orders arrived the same day and both boxes weighed almost the same. LMC charged me $23.75 shipping and handling while Classic Truck parts charged me just $7.95. In todays tough economy, I can not afford to waste money on over inflated S&H charges, I would rather put the money into parts for my truck. Plus most online retailers offer super low or free shipping these days. LMC's shipping and handling charges need to be brought more inline with todays market. You can bet the next time I need parts for my classic truck, I won't order from the company that overcharges me on shipping and handling.

I came in for testing to see if my battery was bad and it definitely was! Now, it's part of their normal promised service to replace a battery for free, but mine was extra special. The main terminal was completely corroded as well as being too big to get back onto the new battery. So he had to find a new terminal for me, but in order to put it on, he spent almost an hour working over the hood of my car in the cold and wind. Plus there were other customers to help in the meantime! The only cost was to pay for the new terminal cap piece. There was no cost for his labor at all. Rich was kind, patient, very understanding, straightforward, helpful, and more. When I tried to give him a tip of thanks at the very end, he said "thank you, but no thank you" and that the best way to show him thanks was to just keep smiling for the rest the day. Let me just say that my initial call didn't fix everything I needed, but I did get steered in the right direction. I ended up having a trucking bar placed on as well as a suspension bar and those two together along with the knowledgeable staff pointing me in the right directions fixed my issues with my car. And now it drives just as good as new, and I couldn't be happier. I had a little bit in issue with my closing clamp on a liftgate I've Got on the back end. Lalo the mechanic somehow fixed the clamp enabling me to open and close with peace of mind. I would have to say the service is outstanding. I'll probably be back to check out some other parts on my car as well as pick up a Car jack. I do have faith in these guys in what they're doing especially after seeing what they've done. When we walked in the worker was on the phone with a customer. The parking lot was empty, most likely because of the poor customer service.
