I don't live in the best part of town and as the weather started warming up, the crime in my neighborhood did too. I work full time and go to school in the evenings so I never felt comfortable leaving my family all day long. Instead of calling companies and having them sell me something I'd regret, I started by researching the latest technology and pricing what it would cost to install it myself. I found exactly what I wanted, but decided to call around just to cover my bases. Not only did Lloyd Security have exactly what I wanted, they were able to professionally install it for less than I could have by buying it all online! I could tell that Jill (my sales person) knew the industry inside and out. To top it all off, the installer they sent out knew what he was doing and obviously took pride in his work. I should have just saved myself time and called her first. I am SOOOO happy I chose Lloyd Security and can't stop telling all my friends! One of them just called for their own system and now I'm even getting free monitoring for three months! Less than a week after the installation there were three burglaries less than a block from my house. I don't have to worry about my house being broken into. My system even reminds me to arm it if I leave the house without doing so! This technology is so amazing, the people know what they're talking about and actually care! Check them out! Services performed: Installation of a home security system, including home automation, remote web access and a cellular connection since I don't have a phone line. I would not recommend. We have frequent issues with the system going down that doesn't seem to have a solution. If you want to check anything with your computer, you need to get a text with a security code to your cell phone. Means your cell phone needs to be with you all the time and I don't have mine stuck to my hip. We get a lot of nuisance alarms due to the wind blowing tree branches. But the worst was the pricing scam. Apparently there was an issue after a year with the equipment and we needed to pay for an upgrade or we wouldn't get service. We would still have to pay the monthly rate if we didn't upgrade and our equipment stopped working. So we agreed to pay for the upgraded equipment only to find out later that our contract had then been extended for three more years! That is over our original contract. We complained but to deaf ears. We are going with a better company that has better equipment, better service, better features, and less cost and just eat the cost of Lloyd's system for several months when we disconnect it and put it in the closet. I guess we have to return the equipment. Will have to figure that out. Feel like I am getting ripped. read more

So I don't know if you ever started a business, but its an arduous task to say the least. Fortunately, Lloyd Security was definitely a pleasant point in the process. Gave them a quick call, they set up a time to visit, and provided me with a proposal that I could take back to my leadership team that actually made sense. All of that within 48 hours, and we were up and running in less than a week. Amazing! Our Business Rep did a fantastic job communicating with me, which made me look like a rock star when the boss started asking questions. I am extremely happy with the system that I purchased from Lloyd Security. Everything from the first meeting to the installation went extremely well. The salesperson who came out to my house was by far the most educated of all the companies, the installation went smoothly and they picked up after themselves. Lloyd was very patient in training me on how to use my system. I am not very technical but the system is so easy to use I feel very comfortable.
