They do not take a job they can't do; they tell you want you'll need, what works best; how long the job will take and most important show up on time and finish a job they start. We highly recommend them +++ very trustworthy!!

If you need WORK DONE - Call Ron & Son!!!!…read more Can't THANK you enough for the hard work and dedication to the job that you showed us on our most recent exterior projects. Your professionalism and communication are outstanding and greatly appreciated. When questions about the project arose Ron was very quick to reach out with suggestions and the proper action that needs to be taken to remedy. Ron has an in-depth knowledge of construction and was able to spot problems with previous work done by others. He is able to provide accurate cost effective solutions quickly with precision. We needed to replace the ancient wrought iron columns on the property with something more modern and feasible to attach our gutter downspouts. Ron absolutely KILLED it; he drew up the quote (extremely accurate) and had suggestions that would be slightly more expensive with the choice in wood & attachment points but the longevity would outlast the cost one thousand fold (so thankful for your insight). We also needed to replace the entire section of attic breather screens that would be best described as janky and worn. His idea for the fix wouldn't break the bank and it looks so professional it looks better than NEW (hat tip to you SIR)! We also had Ron replace rotted sections of soffit and fascia, he was able to color match spot on with the paint and it came out phenomenal! If you aren't the handy type or you haven't gained enough confidence from the latest video on YouTube University to do it on your own; do yourself a favor and call Ron to have it done right the first time! He doesn't charge an arm and a leg and he is one stand up Dude! Ron it was a pleasure working with you, I will be keeping your number saved in my "Favorites" for tomorrow's project!

Today I had Brian, the new owner of Mica Jim resurface a computer shelf for me at his shop in Port…read moreRichey. Over the years it got pretty rough looking. It had a finish on it from the manufacturer that was not very durable and if he couldn't resurface it, I would have to buy a whole new unit. I searched around for companies that still work with Formica and I'm glad I went to him first. He had various pieces of left over mica from completed jobs for me to choose from and once I picked the color, he went to work. He carefully sanded down the surfaces to be resurfaced, then he cut the proper sized pieces, applied contact cement to both surfaces and set them aside to dry. He first did the front of the shelf, pressed the mica down hard then used a router to trim it to the proper size and sanded the edges. Then he carefully applied the top large piece of mica, pressed it down and routed all the edges for a perfect fit. He finished by carefully sanding all the edges, cleaned up all surfaces of the shelf and handed me the finished product. I can tell you this guy clearly cares about his workmanship and his customers. I had a badly damaged shelf but it was just a shelf, not counter top and kitchen cabinets that are his main business and he took the time to make it perfect for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him.
