We wanted to have tile installed in place of carpet in a couple of rooms. We looked at the big box stores and went to Bob's. Found some tile we like there and didn't want to chance having issues with the box stores so we had Bob's do the job. Everyone we were in contact with was professional and pleasant. They did a good job laying the tile. Thats were the good ended. There were hand prints on walls and doors, grout piled up in the corners, holes and uneveness in the grout. Carpet was left loose in the doorway to the bedroom. Also very heavy grout residue left in the floor. Still everybody is very nice but it's like pulling teeth. Multiple calls, poor follow-up. My wife was rushed into signing for the job before she could even walk on it. Bad on us. Still no resolution on the grout. Bottom line, stay away from Bob's. Save some money and take your chances at the big box stores. And don't pay until you are 100 percent satisfied. Update: The issues with the floor have been taken care of. Danny spent a whole day here working hard. We appreciate his efforts. He is definitely an asset to the business! read more

Bob's came today to install carpet throughout our home. The carpet they brought was not the quality we selected from the sample board. Less face weight (thickness). We spent over 4 weeks to find a carpet comparable to our existing carpet. Settled on a Mohawk carpet, but the game in this business is apparently to show a higher quality product, but deliver a lower quality and hope the customer does not know or notice the difference! I was very disappointed with our experience with Bob's Carpet & Flooring. The company made an error and left us hanging for four days with our home in upheaval. There was no communication as we waited for them to arrive which didn't happen. When I called the store and the corporate office, I was promised a quick call back which never happened. I called many times to no avail. This error was of their making and was handled unprofessionally. I do not recommend this company. I will not be using them again. #unprofessional read more

My Grandma had some carpet replaced. As they promised, they were supposed to leave an extra square (for patching down the road). They didn't do this. It has now been 2 weeks and no one will return our calls. It's quite sad, as it is a big deal to her. They are very responsive and nice.....until they get your money!! Prices are cheap (hence the one star), but the quality of installation was average at best. Not recommended. read more

Update to 9/14/2018 review (should have done this in 2019) I stand by my comment of PLEASE do not do business with Bob's Carpet Mart as they DO NOT stand by their work. We ended up getting an attorney after they said they would give us a full refund then weeks later said we misunderstood the offer, checks in the mail etc. and offered us a discount on a new floor. Please see original review. Anyway, our attorney asked us to get a bid for replacing the floor and we were shocked to discover that it was going to be almost double what the original floor cost because the flooring companies said they did not know how much work/damage taking up the current glued down floor would be. Plus we would need to move out of the house, which meant storing all of our household furnishings except what was on the walls or in the bathrooms. We asked Bob's carpet mart for the replacement cost, storage fee, plus attorney fees with Bob's coming back offering to give us a full refund if we signed a non-disclosure agreement. We told attorney the one item we would NOT agree to is a non-disclosure agreement as we wanted to be able to tell people about the fact that Bob's does not stand by their work. We also wanted more than the original cost because they forced us to get an attorney for resolution. Because I was caring for my dying mother we did not want this dragging on as it was stressing me more that a company would be so underhanded so we settled for an amount that would not even cover the cost of replacing this floor. We got our 11k plus a couple of thousand more which paid for the attorney. We would have gotten more if we had agreed to a non-disclosure but then I would not be writing this update...LOL the letter from Bob's stated that the floor was installed wrong which caused the problem. I'm guessing when they first offered us a refund they thought it would be an Armstrong issue and when they discovered it was their installation they tried to get out of replacing or giving us a refund which started all of this. The one thing we did learn is to ask any company you are having do work who is their insurance carrier so that in the case of a dispute you can contact their insurance. read more

I had purchased my carpeting from Bob's carpet Mart approximately a year and a half ago and had a problem with the carpeting which was a defect from Mohawk. Even after the second one was installed another defect. Bobs Carpet Mart got right on it and it was replaced yesterday. Great job on the instillation. To Mike the Manager you were great to work with. It has now been one month and not even a follow up call from Melissa or Bob's Carpet World! My mother reached to Melissa from Bob's Carpet World to schedule an in-home estimate. Melissa came out to measure and quote my moms' home for carpet. Melissa stated this would be only a one-day job, installers would move all furniture. All we had to do was secure breakables and anything in the house from the waist down. Boy was that a joke! My mother paid Melissa in full so that the carpet could be ordered. Representative from Bob's Carpet World called on Nov. 16th said carpet was in and could schedule my mother's home for Nov. 20th for installation. On Friday, Nov 20th one man showed up to only glue down tack strips which he did not finish. Installer stated he need more glue (liquid nail which was everywhere as well as the empty tubes) and needed help to move the furniture to finish. My elder mother and her grand daughter where the only two at the home at the time and they could not help him move the furniture. Next day was Saturday and it was raining, we are very aware no one can help the weather. Next day was Sunday, installers truck broke down, after several conversations with him and him not being able to get truck repaired. With the run around on the repair as well as him being two hours away the whole day was gone. A couple of messages was left for him as well as Melissa. On Monday Melissa called back, spoke with my mother, said she would get things address and give my mother a call back. Guess what as of this moment no call from Melissa or anyone else from Bob's Carpet World! Let finish the experience: It is now Monday and the installer shows back up with a lady to assist him. He stated at this point he had had made many trips to Lowes for supplies. They both worked very hard and my mother said they both where very nice. Installer worked until after dark on Monday, I spoke with him about our experience and he made the statement that he was not sure if he would be able to come back tomorrow or not? So, Bob's Carpet World your client spent the entire night not now if the job would be finished the next day or not. Keep in mind this Thanksgiving week and the house is tore upside down and she has not been able to stay in her home during this entire experience. Next morning installer calls and says he thinks the right thing to do is to come complete the job he started! We thanked him due to at this point we are at his mercy, due to most everything my mother owes is under the carport or shoved in our cars. Now Tuesday, five days later, on a job that was quoted to take one day as the home estimate was done, the installer comes back with his helper. They put the rest of my mother furniture in the front yard and was able to finish the carpet installation way after dark that night. Once they left my brother, a neighbor and myself put the furniture back in the house after they left. The installer did offer to help, but they had worked very hard and had a two-hour ride home. Melissa and Bob's Carpet World let hope you do not treat all your clients this way, especially elder people who may not have any help at all! This experience was and has been horrible! read more

Carpet & flooring purchase was fine, salesman Chris was great. He helped us at the store, came out next day meassured, very professional. We did have to chase down the installation a couple of times. They did work with us on tearing out old carpet, then letting us paint the whole condo before installing carpet & floor. We did have to chase down the installation a couple of different times. After installation had an issue with flooring and service came out promptly to fix a small bubble on flooring. Then the trouble started with the berber carpet for a service issue under the 1 year labor warranty. I wont bore you with all of the details, but I talked to the store 4 different occasions this week and spoke with the manager (Mike)twice who said he would call me right back...... I'm still waiting for the call-backs from both of those times. I even had the repair service date and time set-up 3 weeks prior to the scheduled service date. I was told it was on calendar. Basically they don't understand what customer service is. I have a carpet repair that needs to be taken care of, but the manager (Mike) wont respond to me. Excuses, lies ("I'll call you right back" but never does) is all he knows what to say in response to trying to correct a problem. Sadly this is coing right from the manager repsonsible for the store. If the manager operates in this manner, how do you expect the employees to operate. It all starts at the top. If the manager doesn't care or shows lack of customer service.................. Buy at your own risk, but don't let the 1 year labor warranty be a deciding factor in a positve way for you. read more

Bobs carpet came to my recently purchased villa to install $5000.00 worth of laminate. After install my husband noticed a place in the flooring that appeared to be loose the next day. I called Bobs Carpet and tile to report this. I was told someone would give me a call back. After 3 days I made another call to Bobs Carpet and Tile. I was told my salesman would need to be the one to take care of this. After 5 days I did not get a return call from Bobs Carpet and Tile located in Brooksville. My husband and I drove 20 miles to their store. We once again told the employee we had made multiple calls to solve this issue. We were told no one was there that could address our concerns. We were again asked our names and contact telephone number. It has now been 10 to 12 days since traveling to the store and being told someone would call us and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED US. I would like for anyone considering using this business to consider if you have a problem you may encounter the same stonewalling as we have. I plan to contact the business one more time. After that I plan to send them a certified letter with my concerns. After that I suppose I will contact the Better Business office...... read more

So disappointed! We just had Luxury Vinyl installed in our kitchen, laundry and nook area. I love the flooring (although the installer could've done a better job spacing the pattern out), but the quarter round is atrocious. We have cherry cabinets, and the quarter round is oak. Not even close! I contacted the store...and they really weren't very helpful. We told them we planned to stain the quarter round, but didn't have a nail gun to reinstall it. We asked if they'd be willing to come back and at least reinstall it. They weren't really enthusiastic about it, but were willing. After taking it off, we find out it can't be stained because it's a laminate and not real wood. We ended up going to Lowe's to purchase NEW quarter round and while there called and spoke to our salesman to find out the proper diameter size they had used (since we didn't bring a piece with us). He said he'd call us back. We're still waiting 3 weeks later. read more

We had our kitchen floor replaced with linoleum by Bob's almost a year ago. We did linoleum because of the ease of any clean-ups that may occur in a kitchen, which can be numerous throughout the year. The installation was quick and efficient, right down the the 1/4 rounds on the floor all around. The quality of the flooring was exceptional with a nice heavy product that is quiet to walk on and withstands furniture movement without marring. I saw 2 negative reviews here with issues I have not encountered. I will be having laminate flooring put down by them this weekend and we'll see how that goes. We have dealt with Chris at the Brooksville location twice and spoken with him more than that and he has been very accommodating and patient with our concerns and needs. We compared Bob's to Empire and we're able to do an extra bedroom without reaching Empires quoted price, using a better product as well. read more
