Very Disappointed - Would Not Recommend…read more My 83-year-old parents hired Great Rock for new quartzite countertops and backsplash after multiple in-person meetings with the owner. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a huge letdown. Each time the crew came to install, something went wrong -- cracked quartzite, poorly cut cabinets (for a sink we ordered directly from them), and rough, visible seams. Despite sharing a detailed list of concerns, the owner never returned as promised. Instead, he sent different crews each time, none of whom corrected the issues. The craftsmanship was sloppy, the crews were careless, and my elderly parents were treated as if they were a nuisance. The final straw was when they failed to properly measure for the cooktop, leaving my 83-year-old father to figure out how to reinstall it himself. What started as a hopeful project turned into a stressful, frustrating mess. We chose Great Rock because the owner seemed committed and involved -- but after the first day, we never saw him again. Sadly, I cannot recommend this company. They did not deliver on their promises, their work was subpar, and their treatment of my aging parents was deeply disappointing.

Shu helped us select the perfect quartz for our kitchen and bathroom. Because I needed to see a larger piece to truly understand how it would look, she called me within one day and arranged for the workers in the yard to cut a large sample from the slab. That extra effort made the decision so much easier. Emre was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. He gave us an excellent price and took the time to explain how to care for the quartz and how the warranty works. The person who came to measure was also terrific. He suggested several changes that made a great deal of sense and improved the final result. The installers were fabulous. We were keeping our existing backsplash, so I was concerned that it might be damaged when they removed the old granite countertop. They completed the removal with only one tiny sliver coming off the backsplash--and they repaired it so perfectly that you cannot even tell anything happened. They have a large selection of high quality carpet and flooring. Jim measured and a week later, the carpets were installed by Jimmy and Diego. they were extremely professional and neat. They did phenomenal work laying the padding and stretching the carpet to absolute perfection. I asked Jimmy if he could put padding in the closets. Yeah, it's an odd request but he did it which we appreciate. We got the denser 8 lb padding (Spillguard Carpet Cushion by Carpenter) because - from the website: "the 7/16" thick, 8 lb density pads offer a great balance of comfort, carpet longevity, and spill protection." Feels like walking on comfy plushness. Got the color "Chill In The Air". It's a cool combination of tones, like a greige or grey beige. It kind of looks like sand. For reference- the paint color on the wall is Sherwin Williams Embellished Blue which is more of a cool minty green blue tone. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We highly recommend Pat's Carpet- they always do great work whether it's carpeting or flooring. They have a great selection and everyone is professional and awesome to work with.
