Accommodating, friendly, knowledgable and great! If you need four adjectives to describe Lizard Auto Glass --- these are the ones that come to my mind without a thought! I needed my car recalibrated after Safelite replaced my windshield and failed to perform this task. Apparently, Connie and Armand have a great deal of experience in cleaning up after Safelite's faulty service. Not only did they perform the recalibration that Safelite couldn't figure out how to do, but they also caught another mistake Safelite made and fixed that one, too. There was gel missing from a camera component that was forgotten. They welcomed me in without an appointment (although I don't recommend that people show up without one; I was lucky that it was early in the morning), assessed my situation quickly, quoted a fair price, and got me on the road! They were great! BTW, if the world could be run with the assurance and firm hand that Connie runs this business from the multiple screens and phone lines at her desk, we would be MUCH better off! My car's windshield got chipped while driving on the freeway. I was working with my insurance to find a repair shop. Their recommended one was SafeLite but the closest one had mixed reviews, so I was skeptical about using them. Insurance lists off other approved vendors and Lizard comes up. Reviews look good, let's give it a shot. I bring my car in, I arrive about 15 minutes early. They said their tech was on their way so I was waiting in their waiting room. Later, one of their representatives, Connie, comes up and says they will offer me a $15 discount because I was waiting for so long. I'm doing this through insurance, but I appreciated the gesture so I continue to wait. Their tech came, started working on my car. I hand over my keys and leave them to do their work. When they came back, the tech says the crack crew and they couldn't repair it. Just in case, I looked up what it would take to repair it myself with a kit and they do warn that temperature can affect the process so that's something to consider. It was somewhere around 57F so it's pretty chilly. So nonetheless, even if I did it myself, I'm sure there is a chance that it would crack the windshield more and I'd still have to get it replaced. Connie asks me to wait while she talks with her manager. She comes back, and the manager, Tanya, was on the phone. She apologizes right away and explains that she really just wants to make things right. Unfortunately at this point instead of paying nothing out of pocket, we're now talking about replacing the glass and they helped me work out the best deal between either going through insurance or going with them directly and waiving fees for the work so I would end up only having to pay for the new windshield. Turns out my deductible was $250 and lower than the final cost, so recommendation was to go through insurance and get the repair that way. We chatted a bit on the phone, said our thanks, and finalized the replacement for the next day. I know I'm spending $250 more than I expected to as an outcome, but the customer service and care that their team presented reassured me that I would be taken care of. I will be bringing my car in tomorrow for the windshield replacement and will update the review if anything of significance comes of it. For now, I'm walking away with at least some reassurance that they sincerely wanted to put forth the best effort despite the repair not going so smoothly. They care about their business and if things continue to go well I would use them again in the future. read more

I called and made an appointment to have a rock chip repaired on my motor home. The mobile technician came out and worked on the windshield chip. But he said he was having trouble getting the glue/adhesive to wick into the cracks. He was very apologetic in not being able to fix the chip. He did take a few dollars off the quoted price. I never write reviews but the experience I had with Lizard Auto Glass exceeded all my expectations. Everyone who has had a broken windshield knows that it sucks. This is the 3rd cracked glass I have had in the last few years, and after 2 horrible experiences with Safelite.. my insurance assigned them to the case again. This time they cancelled my appointment out of nowhere and said it would take 4-6 weeks to ship, and of course were unresponsive when I followed up with questions. My crack was very deep and made me feel unsafe driving with my 2 small children, so I went to Google and found Lizard. First, the service agent Karla was the BEST. She was so proactive and professional and truly wanted to help me get my glass fixed as soon as possible. When we had issues assigning the claim to my insurance, she kept following up with me to ensure we could get it assigned. Then she was able to get the appointment scheduled within 48 hours vs 4-6 weeks as quoted by Safelite. When I actually got to the appointment, the tech was waiting for me and immediately offered to also vacuum and clean the interior of my car free of charge. What?!
