These people are great when they are taking your money. But as soon as there is an issue, they are rude and nasty.

I have used this company twice now for a couple of issues. First time was about 3 years ago when I had issues with my pump. I have a very low producing well. They correctly diagnosed that my pump was only 300 feet down my 400 foot well - they replaced the pump with a larger pump and put it down to 400 feet, this gave me use of 100 feet more of storage capacity which is all I needed. This effectively saved me the $10,000 I was staring down to drill a new well. Fast forward to this year, I had an issue on a weekend I couldn't get Living Water on the phone, so I called someone else. Stupid mistake. The other company came out and took a $200 look. They told me all the equipment including the pressure tank was fine, but my well was shot and I'd need to drill a new well or drill my existing well deeper. Well, hell. (pun intended). I decided to call Living Water for a second opinion because of my previously good experience with them. Dude comes out, immediately knew what the issue was, fixed it and was gone in under an hour. It was the pressure tank and switch. He had the replacement equipment on his truck. Is it possible that Living Water saved me the $10,000 of drilling a new well twice? Well, yes, it appears so. I will never call anyone else EVER again to work on my well system, and I strongly recommend that you do the same. And BTW - lady with the one star review. In your review you state that they told you they shut off the UV, but they didn't tell you that you had UV? I'm sorry, but that makes zero sense. Our well pump went out during the night. I have been ill for several days and this was the last thing I could imagine to make things more miserable. I called Living Water before 8:00 AM and my call was returned almost immediately by a pleasant helpful person. She assured me that the repair person would be loading the truck in minutes and be at our home shortly. She followed through and our well pump was replaced and the water back on by early afternoon! I called Living Water to do a potability test on our well (bac-t) for any bacteria. Unfortunately, the test came back present for coliform(bacteria). I had issues with the way the test was collected. I called a different company for a second opinion. The way they collected the sample was totally different, as they were more sanitary and concerned about the sample being uncompromised. Excellent service, I should have called them first. When the pressure tank for our well started leaking I did an online search for someone to fix it. The first company I called didn't even answer the phone and never returned my call. The second company "didn't know if they worked on wells" and said they would get back to me but never did. Had the company out to replace an aging well pump and the pipe that extends down to the well. This was done adequately but there were a couple of things that concerned me after inspecting the well head area a couple of days later: 1. The cover over the well had places for 6 bolts but only 3 had been put back in place and the nuts appeared only to be hand-tightened. Sloppy work. 2. The cover plate over the electrical box was not securely fastened because there were wires inside the box that had not been properly pushed completely inside the box, and one wire was pinched between the box and the cover. As a result there was a gap of about 1/8 inch where moisture could have gotten inside the electrical box. The service guy who put the cover plate on had bent it so that, even after I pushed the wires back into the box, it would not fit properly over the box. Also sloppy work, and potentially dangerous, exposing electrical wires to the elements. I purchased a new box cover and replaced the bent one, and also purchased bolts and nuts to replace those that were missing, then securely tightened all of them. With snow coming soon I didn't want to take a chance that the company would not be able to get to my house before the problems were corrected. Sure hope there aren't other things not in plain sight that are so loosely fastened.... read more

I called them because I had no water. The woman was pleasant and said they considered this an emergency. It was just after 3 pm and she said she would try to get a crew out there that afternoon. She promised she would call back either way. The next morning I called them back and she explained she was busy and forgot. Next , she said "I don't think we can make. It out today either and did I want the names of other companies". I just hung up at that point. read more

We had our pump installed by living water by the previous owners so we called living water when we had an issue. Our well started beeping so we called them to have us fix it. Turns out that our UV bulb was broken but when the man came over he just unplugged the UV system and said, you can fix it if you want but it's not completely needed, it's just an extra layer of protection. A year later I tested the water and it came back positive for coliform. The lady at the desk said we'll have to clorinate for $300 and if it doesn't work, we'll have to put in a UV system. No where in their records did they put that they unplugged it on the last visit. I didn't even know I had a UV system. Basically, if you get a small amount of bacteria in your well when the well is open for service, then clorinating does the job. Then you retest and if it didn't do it, there's a leak in the well and you need a UV system to clean the water. Not only did they not have in their records that we have a UV system but they also didn't record where the well is on the property. They were out here testing the well and left the field blank. So the desk lady told me I had to go around and find it. So they come out and clorinate for $300 and I can't use our water for 24 hours and it was all for nothing. So I called the owner and said I don't think I should have to pay for their lack of diagnosing the issue. He was extremely rude. I told him one of his service men said we didn't need to use the UV system, he said "No one from my company would have said this." Again, had he kept any records, he would know they were out here. Living Water is the only company we've used. He did refund the money after being rude. When I said, "Thank You. I will continue to use Living Water", he laughed. Not what I would expect from a neighborhood business. I would take your money elsewhere to a more competent business. read more

If I could give no stars I would. We had been having our pipes freezing but they never broke. Our suspicion is that they were freezing under the concrete floor or under the driveway. The utility room was also cold because per code there are 2, 9" pipes that are required. We called Living Water out to help us figure out a solution. Their suggestion was to install a "drain-back system". That would drain any water in the pipes from the utility room back to the pump once water was no longer called for. They didn't install a pressure relief valve on the system and relied on the valve for the large tank that was already installed on the other side of the system. In November 2014 the pipes froze once more during the day and my 14 year old daughter was home alone. When she went to take a shower, the pressure built and sent the "drain-back" tank through the utility room, floor joists, heat ducts, plumbing, floor of the next level, dresser, and fish tank. The damage was catastrophic although I was so relieved and thankful that my daughter and the dogs weren't killed. Our insurance company ended up putting out close to 25k and we were out about 3k not to mention the 6 months it took to get the house back together. Here's the kicker, Living Water's response was that we kept the room too cold so we were at fault. Like we had a choice. Living Water was hired to fix a problem and when it went wrong they listed the cold as the reason it failed. We wouldn't have needed their system if it wasn't cold out or we could determine the location of the freezing. Just to point out, we wrapped all the exposed pipes with heat tape, run the fireplace on cold days/nights and heated the house with the forced air system each winter. read more
