We knew more about setting tile than he did as we later found out. He butchered the backsplash. Tiles not laid flat, edges were all over the place, went beyond the corner randomly with each tile, was supposed to be a brick pattern and it totally was lost when he tiled around the stove. It's the worst tile job I've ever seen. Don't hire this guy to do anything unless you want to have to hire someone else to do it over again. That was our experience. Out $1200+.
