A favorite! I always visit this place when in Concord because I feel super healthy when I do. The food isn't overly salted or oily. Everything consistently tastes fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items, but my favorite is the Wake Me Up. I have order one every time I visited for the past 7 years. That's a track record for me!

I love the farmhouse salad and the sweet beet juice! The salad has so many add ins and they allowed me to substitute the walnuts for almonds!

    Cobb sans bacon. Really good.

This was a cool cafe with fresh and well portioned salads. I approached the counter and ordered the cobb salad without bacon and with romaine. The salad was made to order and the veggies looked very fresh. The blue cheese was chunky, fresh and delicious. There was plenty of seating. The place was very clean and well kept. This is a great lunch spot.

Went here while visiting my parents in New Hampshire. It was a completely fine but nothing special juice and health store. I asked about what options were vegan and the cashier wasn't very sure. He was very nice and polite about it but I would have expected there to be more knowledge of dietary restrictions at a place like this. I got the veggie wrap. It was good but I felt like it was missing something. I thought the price was reasonable. I'll probably give the place another chance next time I'm in town.

I promised myself I would do one week of replacing a meal or two with raw juice, and here I am at day three, and I'm already feeling the benefits. I'm so glad that they're here, and what a great option to have downtown. The menu is extensive, the staff is wonderful and friendly, and I feel sincerely appreciated as a customer when I walk through the door. The ingredients are fresh, the juice and salads are prepared right in front of you, and you just feel good when you eat this way. What a great place this is.

It is nice that they are all earthy and organic and all but they up charge literally everything and this is on top of their high prices. This açaí bowl was $12 with tax. If I want to use oat milk rather than almond o don't want to pay another $.50. Coming from San Diego where there are much better açaí bowls and salads, I don't think their food is worth the prices they are charging. ALSO the two times I have gotten açaí owls here they are never fully blended and there are large frozen chunks of açaí throughout

    Delicious Greek Salad!

Excellent!! I have had a salad from here every week (except one) since they opened! I am hooked on the Greek Salad but recently had the Asian which was equally delicious!! The ingredients are so fresh and the salad size is ginormous. Very filling and you feel good after eating such fresh ingredients. I am so happy Live Juice is in Concord!!

Favorite place to go to for lunch. Just a tad bit expensive but worth it. They have the freshest wheat grass shot which I highly recommend.

The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. My cali turkey burger came out perfectly cooked and deliciously topped with guac, salsa, chpotle purée and cilantro. Easy ordering via the app as always. This continues to be one of my favorite burgers of all time. It went through a few iterations over the years - the salsa had corn in it for a while (gross), the turkey burger was replaced with a turkey-mushroom burger for a time (yuck), but they went full circle and brought it back to the original. Its the hazards of a rotating menu. I drove over an hour so i could cash in my rewards balance for a free order of fries. The location i used to frequent near one of my company's office locations was turned into an Annas Taqueria which is another brand owned by the same parent company. Now they seem to be down to only Cambridge MA, Concord NH and Portland ME. If im in Concord, I wont hesitate to stop by but the brand is becoming a fading memory unless there is some sort of comeback effort.

The staff were friendly and the store had a nice vibe, just overall very long service time and not very satisfied.

Banana/strawberry and holy shit it was incredible!!! I. LOVED. IT!!! Damn it was good. I think it was like $12 tho? Am I crazy to think...meh, it's ok, (the price) I was on a holiday and you are supposed to enjoy whatever? haha!! I would normally never spend that much on a freaking smoothie! HOWEVER! Once we got into Manchester, VT....we saw another The Works Bakery...I SHO DID get another one lol. I was surprised to see that this place is a chain. When we were in Concord...it kind of felt like this was a place exclusive to Concord. Nah, it's not. Thats ok tho. I got a smoothie at a coffee house in just outside Bar Harbor and it was absolute garbage. So it was nice to have one where they actually have you what you ordered. Most places in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire all allow dogs. I travel with my little Yorkie wherever I go. Alfred loves to travel haha! He is my child...seeing as I do not have any human kids. My dog is my life. So it's nice when you go into places and they welcome dogs. This place....does not tho. Thats boooo! HOWEVER! I TOTALLY understand! I TRULY do! I travel with my dog everywhere, but yes, I do realize this place is a restaurant and they all have their rules. I just love restaurants that allow dogs haha! I am not one of those psychos that will tear a place apart about not allowing dogs. I am one who actually respects policies like this. And yes, I bring my dog with me bc it's just me...and my dog. He is a 6lb Yorkie who I will never leave alone nor would I ever kennel him. I say all this bc so many people out there judge others who bring their dogs everywhere. He is a family member. He comes with me. Just go to this place wherever you run into one. It really is a great place. They were all SO nice in there even when they asked my take Alfie back outside. OH for the record too...I carry my little man everywhere with me. He's not like...running around everywhere...marking his territory lol Atmosphere in this location is very nice. Kinda dark and Lodgy feeling. Its nice. Located too in what I am assuming is a historic building. Noce view of the downtown area too if you take you lunch or whatever outside to their outdoor seating...which I am guessing is probably brought in now...seeing as it is almost December. Ok thats it. I know I rambled a lot here, but I feel it all fits with my review. I ramble a lot to begin with. If you read this...thank you! If you didn't...I will sleep in 5 mins and sleep like a baby :) Thank you The Works for a wonderful first experience. I live in Idaho. Wish we had you here. Thanks for reading YelperWorkers! While I am far from an expert consumer of this…read morecuisine, I have consistently enjoyed the Jollof rice, the fried plantains, the chicken gizzards, and their goat dishes. The portions are generous and the food is wonderfully spicy. The restaurant is very loud as they play music on a sizable PA system in a relatively small space. I would not recommend eating in for anyone with auditory sensory processing differences. That said, if you're going to eat here, pay cash or go somewhere else. In our last visit (October 2024), my credit card was triple billed for our meal. The staff told us that it was a problem with Square. Cool. I've dealt with Square. Square can be a pain, I get it. Sadly, that was the start of the problem, not its resolution. The receipt they sent me was a completely different order (literally nothing we ordered was on the receipt, the the receipt was for almost twice the cost of our meal). The staff said they'd fix it. Cool. We'll wait. However, after waiting 20 minutes or so for this to be resolved, the staff told us that they were unwilling to wait on hold any longer and that they would follow up the next day. I never got a call. Two days later, I called to follow up as the charges had only been partially reversed. When I called the number staff gave me for follow up, they told me my refund was processed. Looking at my credit card statement, it most definitely was not. They refunded a partial and seemingly random amount, leaving them still having overcharged me by more than $60. The staff person I spoke to, who assured me that they would be available on Monday, said they were too busy to talk and would call me back. They did not call me back. The staff person I have been in contact with has been consistently argumentative. I have consistently been made to feel that I am the problem and am an inconvenience for insisting on accurate, timely correction of the charges. I don't care how good the fried plantains are (and they're really good), they're not worth this much headache. I'll not be going back.

The space has a homey atmosphere with seating in the dining area and a takeout counter. After seeing their small grocery Mart next to Man Yee Express in the Heights, I decided to head to their small restaurant for takeout. I ordered the Banku & Fried Fish ($17 plus tax) and the owner asked me how spicy, referring to the sauce that comes with it. I was given the spicy sauce and the non spicy tomato sauce on the side. My food was ready to go in about 15 minutes. The boxed dinner had a dense balled cornmeal (slight salt flavor) served with fried croaker fish with bones with shredded onion, and pepper on the side and hot & mild sauces on the side. The hot flaky fish needed to be carefully deboned before enjoying. The sauces were great with my food and with the Banku, the dinner was filling to eat. I will keep Maddy's Food Hub on my list of places to stop for a fresh cooked African meal.
