We had the most phenomenal service by Angel. We were a group of five and she was right on it with drinks, appetizers and suggestions for the most delicious entrees. This is a favorite restaurant for two of us, but three friends were new to dining here. Angel was so warm and welcoming and truly added to the best experience and a wonderful time. The food was great too. The Salmon Piccata, Tuna Nachos and gourmet grilled cheese were awesome. The friend avocado wedges were a true surprise-very yummy. read more

Everything was great!! Casual/Fine dining! This time it was a quick business meeting meal but I will certainly bring the family back! They have their grand opening... Overall it is a positive experience. Food was hot, service was good. Shrimp pesto dish was tasty but clearly lacking pesto taste and color. Garlic cheese bread lacked garlic..if garlic was used probably powder vs. fresh minced garlic. read more

Tried this place for breakfast today and it was good. Service was good (server Jamie) food was good not noisy. The food didn't take long. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast will try them for lunch. They also have a bar great selection for drinks for everyone in your party. read more

Not to be confused with The Fiery Chef on the other side of town, my barber recommended this new place so I went there for breakfast. It's only been open a short while I think but what a great find! They have all kinds of seating, everything is new and clean; service was great. Great coffee; I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs scrambled soft with whole grain toast on the side. Now when u ask for you eggs scrambled soft it's a bit risky as to what ur going to get. When the plate came out, it looked as if Chef was inside my head seeing exactly how I imagined perfectly scrambled eggs! I mean I get it: they're eggs, dude... but they were cooked SO perfectly that it made them taste that much better. The hash was clearly home made and spot on: not too salty but not bland - great flavor. And the toast was a very nice, coarse seed bread. Just that 1 meal definitely gave the impression that they're using fresh, quality ingredients. Looking over the other menus suggests the same and I can't wait to return to try them for dinner... like tonight!! Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

Horrible service, we waited 2 hours for our food! The food did not taste good, we ordered a ribeye steak medium and it was almost burnt, the risotto was crunchy, the shrimp had all the seasoning on two shrimps and was salty and the hamburger had no taste at all, the fries were supposed to be Parmesan crust and it had no Parmesan on it. The appetizer were the only things that tasted good. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our drinks and people would walk in and never got acknowledged so they would leave. We don't recommend this place at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED read more

We had an excellent experience! Azanya was our server and she was spectacular! Her recommendations were on point to our taste and she checked all boxes besides. We personally spoke to Chef Patrick since we were highly impressed with both our dinner entree and dessert. We would definitely consider their catering menu based on our overall experience. Me and my husband came here to try it out and while we were waiting for our food we heard screaming turns out it was the owner yelling at a cook while I was surprised it was very uncomfortable and very unprofessional for them to do and the food was not all that great for the price you pay for it , everything is all so pricey for average food you can get it else where cheaper . read more

Been here at least 10 times both as a couple and with friends, first time I've been disappointed. Started out with a cappuccino, it was served with no froth and looked like it was made from instant coffee. Full of undissolved brown specs. Followed by a dirty water glass with a bug in the water. Then waited over 30 mins from time of order till service. Ordered an omelet with Provolone cheese, there was no cheese on the omelet. No hot sauce other than Tabasco available, and had to ask for jelly for the toast. Wife ordered a dish with rice and was told the rice cooker was broken. She had to get Cole slaw instead. Makes you wonder how many things can you mess up in one visit? At 50 bucks for two (including tip) for lunch it wasn't cheap. We won't be back. read more

After hearing good things about this restaurant, we went for an early dinner this week. It is in a run-down strip mall that has seen better days. The restaurant itself is clean and modern, but could use a little decorating as the walls are stark. We sat in a booth but the table was uncomfortably far from the seats and could not be moved. Not a big deal, but we both had to sit on the edge of our seats throughout the meal. There is a good variety on the menu, and yes you can "smell the smoke"from the kitchen. We expected better food. It seems as if the owners can't decide if they should be a fine dining restaurant or a cafe. There are far better restaurants in Ocala at this price point. One reviewer compared the food to the WEC restaurants. Sorry, not even close. This is probably a great place for brunch or lunch, but the dinner was just average at high prices. first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. the food was fantastic. we had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and veggie was tender green beans cooked to perfection. someone in our group had the bacon wrapped scallops with risotto and the risotto was amazing. another in our party had stroganoff and was very pleased with the portion and the flavor. everything was fantastic. we had a caramel cake with ice cream for dessert because our server Emily recommended it. good call Emily. Went for Lunch at 1:15pm on a Saturday. Food was just OK. Service was great. I had the Rueben Sandwich with Fries. The fries were so salty, I couldn't eat them. The sandwich was...just OK. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich and Fries. His fries weren't as salty. His Sandwich was "just ok". We both had sweet tea and both agreed that the tea lacked flavor. We will return 2 more times to see if they can impress us better but they really disappointed us. Also...we both always notice the cleanliness and aesthetics and weren't impressed. If we are going to pay $42 for a mediocre Lunch, we expect a little more. The windows were dirty and the place just looked tired; like no imagination was used when designing the front of house. I rated a 4 instead of a 3 because our waitress (heavy set 50+ lady) was excellent. read more

A friend and I ate here for the first time the other day and the food was excellent. The prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. The portions are also quite generous. The decor is nothing fancy but still pleasant, the tables are well spaced, and there are several booths along the sides with high backs that provide a lot of privacy. The staff is also very friendly as well. I highly recommend Live Fire Chefs and am looking forward to going back to try more of the many dishes that sounded good and looked delicious as they came out of the kitchen. read more

Tried this place on a whim and was surprisingly good. Both the wife and I enjoyed the excellent service and most of all I had the corned beef hash. You can tell it's made up fresh and not from a Dinty Moore can. Hash in its original state that was prepared the old original state of a New England home style. Big Thanks to the Chef and the team for executing our outdoor wedding this past Saturday 12/16. The weather did not cooperate. Setup, service, and breakdown all suffered through the rain. With that being said every guest that was here raved about the food and his team handled it with professionalism and perfection. The PHO station was a hit as well as the grilled salmon and tenderloin. When my new bride and I finally had a chance to sit down he made sure we had a plate of food in front of us immediately.
