This company is terrible, has terrible food, has no compassion when dealing with customers, and serves soggy crostini. They are overpriced and force you to hire a bartender to serve drinks (beer and wine) you personally provide. They lie to their customers and tell them that "in the state of florida you need to have a licensed bartender to serve drinks." That is a LIE, in the state of Florida you do not need a license or permit to serve beer a wine... actually a bartender doesn't even need to have a license to serve liquor in Florida. They are lying to their customers. We were hosting a memorial.. not a wedding.. this wasn't a party and our experience with Celebrations made everything more stressful than it already was..... AND they serve soggy crostini.... They made us buy food too! Many of the people who helped with the memorial have worked for catering companies... The crostini was dated for the day before.. Our "bartender" said they were made in the morning... Another lie. What a joke of a company. read more

So incredibly happy with the service provided by Celebrations Catering! We have used them twice now for a yearly event at our church and they are incredibly reliable! The cost for their outstanding service was very affordable. Jessica and her team are very professional and went above and beyond what we asked. Our event ran late and the servers were so careful to take down their stuff quietly as to not disturb our event. Celebrations catered our holiday luncheon today and it was subpar. They were stingy with the portions. About 7 people did not attend the luncheon but we ran out of bread and baked quinoa green peppers. The beef and chicken entrées were cold. The chicken entree was also a little dry. The coffee had a dirty element in it that didn't look like coffee grounds. However, after several pours of coffee it washed itself out. We hired celebrations for our destination wedding in Gainesville and were blown away by their level or service! Ellie and her staff were always available - even long distance- and worked with us tirelessly to create a menu and service plan that best served the needs of our guests and our budget. They let us bring our own alcohol to be served by their bartender at the reception, which was a big money saver. Other caterers we talked to wanted to charge a $17/bottle corking fee for this privilege. Celebrations did it for free. Celebrations isn't just about the food. They coordinate and decorate as well. We brought over some of our decorations the week ahead of time and they went nuts with their creativity and put together a reception that exactly fit our personalities and the vibe of the wedding. When the friend who was bringing the rest of our decorations had a car accident and couldn't make it, Ellie found blue glass vases at the last minute and created fun and eclectic centerpieces, saving the day! I hear a lot of stories about brides and grooms that don't get to eat on their wedding day. The celebrations staff really took care of us in this respect! They set out food for us at the sweet heart table, were constantly (but surreptitiously) on hand asking if we needed refills on our drinks and even packed us "to-go" boxes of the wedding meal so that we would have something to eat the next day. They were friendly, efficient and excellent dancers. Our guests loved the food. The marinated chicken was a tad too flavorful for our personal tastes; but it was still pretty good and every body else RAVED about it. Everybody was a big fan of the stuffed shells and I personally was a huge fan of the roasted vegetables. Everything was well-prepared and nothing looked or tasted cheap. Celebrations LOVES offbeat couples. There were several things about our wedding that were non-traditional. Celebrations not only rolled with it, they reveled in it! Every member of their staff was super-psyched to be there and we loved hearing stories about the other offbeat events they have served (We totally wish we could have been at the Avengers-themed wedding!). We were very happy with our experience and would absolutely recommend Celebrations for any event you are planning! read more

My husband and I went with Celebrations Catering for our recent wedding and cannot be more happy and pleased. Planning started a year before the event with Ellie and switched to Sarah as Ellie had left the company. Ellie was amazing and helped us with ideas for the beginning stages of planning (which we were both clueless on). Then Sarah really took the reigns and went above and beyond with finalizing the event. I must have changed my mind multiple times during the year and they both responded to communications almost immediately each time. The wedding was beautifully decorated, amazingly coordinated, and wonderfully executed. The food was incredible and was exactly what we wanted. Fantastic! When I needed a caterer for an 80's party for about 50 people, a friend recommended Celebrations Catering. The party was terrific. The staff helped us plan a great menu and handled all of the setup and decorations. Our guests were thrilled. The staff had enthusiasm, energy and great ideas that transformed our house and created a wonderful party atmosphere. We will definitely hire them again. I cannot begin to thank Laura Tanner and her staff for the outstanding job they did making my daughter's wedding perfect! We had planned an outdoor wedding, ceremony & cocktails with 127 guests. The weather turned ugly and Laura and her team went into action. The entire wedding was moved inside 45 mins before the ceremony. Because of Laura's leadership and poise under stress, the guests were unaware that the wedding was supposed to be held anywhere but were it was. I highly recommend working with Celebrations.
