Besides the amazing taste and presentation of the meals, the customer service and attention to details is astounding. Both years, we have run out of plates or cups or whatever it may be. Terra remains calms, makes you aware and works to find a solution. I never see a bead of sweat! I'm a crazy planner and I like to come up with my own menu and man, Terra brings it ALL to life without a 2nd thought. She is thorough, focused and so real, I appreciate it so much. This will be one of the best teams you'll ever get to work with so book Dos Mamas to be WOWed!

Dos Mamas is a small, homey, and pretty busy cafeteria / restaurant. They have a pretty decent…read moreassortment of burgers, sandwiches, grilled items, bottled and draft beers and Cuban sandwich... Yes, they have a good Cuban sandwich. I visited Dos Mamas during lunch and they were slammed. Even though the place was packed, and the TV was on, it wasn't too loud. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and obviously prepared when we order it. The fries are really great! Both my friend and I ordered the Cuban sandwich, so I cannot comment on any other item..... Their Cuban sandwich was made pretty damn close to the real thing. It had the right bread, ham, sliced pork, pickles, spicy mustard, Swiss cheese, and then pressed with butter on the outside (the butter was applied before being pressed, which gives it that sweet and slightly overcooked taste... Hell yeah!) The only other place where a semi-decent Cuban sandwich could be purchased in Gainesville was Hogan's Heros, but they have started to lax their standards. I give Dos Mamas 3.5 Stars. Review will be updated after my next visits.... there will definitely be other visits! Oh, almost forgot, Parking is a pain in the _ss... Get there early and even then you will have to park across the streets in a dusty lot (watch out for trucks and industrial machinery... try not to get run over).

Many attendees went out of their way to note that it was among the best meals they've ever had at a wedding. It's also worth noting that the morning breakfasts at the Inn are wonderful and everyone is so nice and thoughtful. When I saw they were now doing to-go meals, we made plans to visit Gainesville to pick up some shrimp and grits, mac and cheese casserole, garlic parmesan mashed potatoes, and bread. The entire meal was spectacular and the mac and cheese is some of the best we've ever had. I can't recommend them highly enough.

When I first called Terra, she asked me so many great questions about other aspects of the day. She would make a talented wedding coordinator because she knows all the aspects of hosting a wedding from catering the food, to the set up, to the linens, to the china, to decorations, etc, etc! Terra stood by her quote and provided all the food according to the contract. My only disappointment was with Hill's slow turn around and follow up with the paperwork. Our guests all had extremely high expectations for our food because my husband and I are both big foodies and Anthony's did not disappoint! The food was fantastic at the tasting but it was out of this world good at our wedding! My husband and I tried several appetizers but we ended up going with four: bacon wrapped scallops, Monty Cristo, fried green tomatoes, and our personal favorites the mushroom tarts. All four still have our guests talking about how good they were! For our meal we went with a duel plate seated dinner. We had crab cakes and short ribs both were incredible! The crab cakes had a lot of crab in them and were perfectly crisp on the outside! The short ribs were my favorite, they were so tender and had amazing flavor! My husband and I are still trying to decide which one was better! The staff was also incredibly nice, we were even guests at a wedding they were at and they were amazing at that wedding as well. I highly recommend if you like food and you are looking for a catering company look no further than Anthony!
