Their Cuban sandwich was made pretty damn close to the real thing. It had the right bread, ham, sliced pork, pickles, spicy mustard, Swiss cheese, and then pressed with butter on the outside (the butter was applied before being pressed, which gives it that sweet and slightly overcooked taste... Hell yeah!) The only other place where a semi-decent Cuban sandwich could be purchased in Gainesville was Hogan's Heros, but they have started to lax their standards. I give Dos Mamas 3.5 Stars. Review will be updated after my next visits.... there will definitely be other visits! Oh, almost forgot, Parking is a pain in the _ss... Get there early and even then you will have to park across the streets in a dusty lot (watch out for trucks and industrial machinery... try not to get run over).
