    Low country boil

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! I decided to try this place while in the area running errands. The actual price is much higher than the online price but they don't tell you that when you make the order. When I got the price of the food, I thought my son might've ordered (something extra to be added to the plate. WRONG! I immediately went back in and asked for a refund. Nadine (manager) wouldn't accept the untouched food back said they don't do refunds once the food has been cooked. She also acknowledged knowing that the online price has been wrong for YEARS!sats! The low country boil wasn't hot or edible. I received a call from the owner, Rock/Rob (919) 414-4426, who also acknowledged knowing about the inaccurate pricing online. He was very unprofessional and condescending when speaking with me about my concerns. He would not provide me with the number for the corporate office and said they would be changing their name in the next few months. He then offered to refund me the money if I found a place with better pricing. I responded by telling him the Crab Seafood House in Clayton had lower pricing, larger quantities of food, and better customer service. He then began to repeat "it's your life" and say that he could not lose money by refunding the inedible, overly/inaccurately priced food. Well, Losing customers means losing money. I wish I could've given this less than 1 star. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISGUSTING FOOD!

Good seafood overall, I've had better but it was average. Good taste and nice staff. Small portions.

Crawfish & shrimp boil after I had to add my own seasoning

It's definitely a NO for me. As for someone who lived in Louisiana for years, it is disrespectful to call this anything similar to New Orleans or Louisiana style cuisine. I ordered the crawfish and shrimp boil and it came out swimming in water. It was supposed to be seasoned with Medium, Big Bang flavor and it was absolutely seasonLESS. I had to ask the waitress to bring out actual seasoning to add any flavor to it. The oysters Rockefeller was even worse. Unfortunately, as much as I love seafood, particularly Louisiana cuisine, this experience was a miss.

I had the Swamp Basket on my first visit. I really enjoyed the catfish. Corn with butter and slaw were good. I recommend trying the Swamp Basket. I will try the soft shell crabs on my next visit in a few days and will review them. Service was good as well. I sat at the bar.

    Call to restaurant.

I have been here a few times, I have enjoyed the food as well as the over all surroundings. I called and placed an order to pick up at 7:49, and I arrived at 8:20. The doors were locked and phones were cut off and lady inside ignored my efforts to get her attention (which I don't blame her if they're closed). Sign on the door and online said they closed at nine. Just extremely frustrated.

We were excited to see this new restaurant come in to the area. our first attempt to eat there they turned us away because they had kitchen issues and the store was closed on that particular day we went for lunch. We finally made it last night and it has a nice interior, beachy feel, TVs, some with sports, some with country music playing. Nadine our server was very pleasant and friendly. The food was just so so, not much seasoning and the portions were little small for the money. if you're looking for fried fish you can still visit the local places and get better product for the money. We were disappointed they didn't have very many broiled or sauteed dishes with fresh fish. Side options included slaw, fries, red potatoes. We had the Cajun fries, but they were barely seasoned. We just didn't get a sense with all the breading that the fish was actually 'fresh'. Will opt for the offerings at the beach next time. We ordered the beignets, they were about an inch and a half squares dusted with powder sugar. Some were good, others were a little chewy. Overall it was a nice sweet ending for the meal but again it just felt like it needed a little something, a drizzle of honey, a drizzle of dark chocolate. I've had the beignets in New Orleans, at Cafe du Monde, these were really subpar. They offer a full bar, beer on tap, Coke products, iced tea. The other items, crab legs and such seems a little pricey for what we were looking for that evening. Not even sure I'd make a trip back for those. Parking is tough because it's in a strip mall, that's already tight, near the cinema. just didn't see anything or experienced anything that would make us want to go back. We do hope it does well.

    Nasty food

Nasty food. Gave it another try a couple of weeks ago and I got sick. Totally disgusting. If I wanted cabbage and mayonnaise for coleslaw I would've gone to wall mart. They are serving crap inside. Not just kits. Table service. Never ever ever again. THIS PLACE SUCKS

They have good proportions and very fresh food. Their customer service is over the top. They were very sweet people. Me and my husband found our new seafood spot that's close to home.

    Dungeness crab

I am originally from Louisiana so no seafood place is going to be great to me BUT the Dungeness crab was very good and the people were awesome.

The reviews had me questioning it but then I read the complaints and gave it a try. Glad I did. The cooking style of the seafood is not my style so that was not an option but the Asian items on the menu caught my eye. The Captial is located in a strip mall and plenty of parking is available if you drive. Once entering the decor is very neat and interesting. Sort of beach cross with modern cross with Asian influences. Interesting. I eat at the bar so I don't tie up a table s they were busy. Good flow and the bar was wide open. I had the black garlic what ever. This was my second try of this style. The host was very informative and gave very sound advice on the menu. The item was delicious. Very filling and one's unable to eat it all. I also had a delicious Old Fashion to go with it. Maybe not a common pairing but delicious nonetheless. Definitely another place to add to rotation when I am in town.

Super strange, but the water was AWFUL. I literally didn't drink any after the first sip because it was repulsive. I'm usually an avid water drinker, so for me to completely refuse is unusual.

Delicious!! This was…read moremy first time having ramen, and my friend suggested we go here, and I'm so glad we did! Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The broth was rich and balanced, the pork was tender, and the toppings--bok choy, beansprouts, bamboo, onions, nori, and that perfectly seasoned egg--brought everything together beautifully. I did ask them to cut the meat up but they were "not able" to accommodate that request. Every bite felt warm, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and energetic. The music was a bit louder than I prefer, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. If you're craving a great bowl of ramen in a lively atmosphere, Noodle Boulevard is absolutely worth the stop.
