Absolutely delicious. Licated in the food court next to the Asian supermarket. Spicy, savory, fresh.

The Caramel Macchiato was definitely on the sweeter side, but it paired surprisingly well with the savory takoyaki. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

It was very cozy on the inside and felt a little like being in a log cabin. When the food came, it was great! I was very happy the biscuit didn't crumble when eating it as a sandwich and it had a lot of flavor. My partner also had the grits which he noted were very flavorful. He also liked the amount of toppings they put on which enhanced. We each got a lemonade as well, one regular and one flavored, and both were good. This location, we did find this was a local chain (we think), was wonderful as well! Lots of places to walk around and enjoy. There is an adorable shop next door to shop local and small artists. Also, there are a ton of places to take pictures and little phone stands to help if you want to make sure everyone is included! It's also right across the street from City Hall so you can get a fabulous view while you eat.

We arrived around 11 am and just in time before there were zero seats outside. The Hostesses, the server and runners were very friendly. Very great service! The food did not disappoint either! I had the hash dish and some of the huge pancake the hubby ordered. The pancake was basically a cake round, I took a bite when the hubs was at the last quarter of it and it was actually still pretty hot! It was good. It looked 1.5-2" thick and 2 pieces. To me that is suitable to split amongst 8 people. The hash was delicious. Tiny roasted veg topped with your style of eggs. I chose sunny side and it was a perfect pour right into the dish. There were also 2 medium round Idaho potatoes, yum! Most definitely without a doubt will be returning.

Food was made to order and hot. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant to test the waters and it knocked my expectations out of the ball park. The croissants here are so flaky and wonderful. My partner got the apple turnover and it was equally tasty Service was great. The man that took our order (and made the food) was so happy and polite it made me even happier to be there. Atmosphere is great. This place is a bit small for dining in, but has nice tables and unique paintings that you can purchase decorating the walls. Very clean! Overall A+

The new owners have done it justice. The edits/additions to the menu are all good. The originals are still fantastic. This place is for crepes, French pastries (friends, croissants, tarts), and breads. I've never been for lunch, though that's my daughter's preference for this place. Why aren't we here more often? The coffee. It's fine, but nothing great, and when my wife and I have a Saturday morning to go out, we usually want great coffee. The space is tight, smallish, but clean. They seem to do more to-go business than eat in. We've never seen it packed, but there is usually a steady stream of to-go. Want great pastries? This is the place.
