I walked into Jeweler's Loupe, and a pleasant man asked how he could help me. He examined the broken watch band, shook his head and suggested that I buy a new band at Boscov's or Walmart. He said if I came back he'd put it on for me. I took his suggestion, bought what I hoped was the same size band and returned. The man was busy helping other patrons, and a woman approached and asked to assist me. I told her what the man had said. She nodded, took the watch and new band, put on a super-vision headset and went to work. In a few minutes she handed me the watch with its new band installed. I thanked her and asked how much is that. She smiled and shook her head. I asked "What can I give you?" and she said "A smile." I gave her a smile and a thank-you and shook her hand.
