Very helpful professionals. My sister, legally blind, broke the band of her "talking" wristwatch,…read moreand my mission was to get it repaired or replaced. I walked into Jeweler's Loupe, and a pleasant man asked how he could help me. He examined the broken watch band, shook his head and suggested that I buy a new band at Boscov's or Walmart. He said if I came back he'd put it on for me. I took his suggestion, bought what I hoped was the same size band and returned. The man was busy helping other patrons, and a woman approached and asked to assist me. I told her what the man had said. She nodded, took the watch and new band, put on a super-vision headset and went to work. In a few minutes she handed me the watch with its new band installed. I thanked her and asked how much is that. She smiled and shook her head. I asked "What can I give you?" and she said "A smile." I gave her a smile and a thank-you and shook her hand. When I think of buying jewelry, I'll think of kind professionals at Jeweler's Loupe. John Vincent, Dover, DE

My fiancé and I came in today to look for his wedding ring. We were immediately met with rudeness…read morefrom the blonde woman working behind the counter. Before speaking with us, she was already being short and dismissive with an older gentleman who was simply trying to adjust the time on a watch he had just purchased there. When it was our turn, she spoke to us in the same unhelpful and condescending manner. We left without buying anything. Customer service like that is unacceptable--especially in a jewelry store where professionalism should be the standard. Based on her demeanor, she might be better suited for a job that doesn't involve customer interaction.

Horrible experience with taking my watches in to have batteries replaced. I was told it would cost…read more$79.99 for each battery, I was given receipts with this price. After over a week later I received a call telling me that my watches were ready. As I was leaving to go to the store, I received a second call telling me that the price was $250 and this was for just one watch. I asked why and was not given an answer, only that that was what the repair was for the gold watch. I said that would not pay that price and I would come like my watches back. Today I called to find out if I could pick up my watches and I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that the manager was not in today. I asked for the assistant manager and was told that she was on the floor helping someone and that she would call me when she was free. I will never patronize this store again.
