I merely purchased one today, however. I do enjoy flipping the pages of a book and reading random passages, and with such a variety as this, I was in my glory! I must say that the staff was attentive and helpful. It is likely that the basic format of this chain is typical of the others.

When you enter the store you have to side step a display of puzzles and I love that. I was fortunate when I visited that my husband and I were mostly the only people in the store. The store is so full of puzzles that there isn't room for many people to simultaneously explore the aisles. Shopping the full collection often requires crouching down and shuffling through the stacks. If treasure hunting isn't your thing the staff are always friendly and eager to help. After checking out the shelves and stacks I finally selected three puzzles. Here are some of the brands that I browsed while in the store: Art & Fable Clementoni Cobble Hill Eeboo Eurographics Heye MasterPieces New York Puzzle Co. Piatnik Pomegranate Ravensburger Schmidt Suns Out I also noticed that they had a huge selection of puzzles from Heritage including some of local Delaware sites and generic beach images. As far as puzzles with local images, they also had some puzzles made by Lantern Press. I mostly looked at puzzles in the 300 to 1,000 piece count range but the store carries puzzles that have much fewer pieces, including children's' puzzles, and puzzles that are in the 40,000+ range from Educa and Ravensburger.

The store is very small, it is difficult to social distance yourself. We came around closing time so we had the store to ourselves. They did their best to keep the store clean and organized. We made sure we sanitized ourselves upon exiting. We are glad we stopped here.

The owner asked me for my info and description and went out his way to make it a smooth recovery. He didn't even want me to cover the $10 fee for the auction. We had only left the store a few minutes earlier before noticing that it had a hole in it, so we returned to ask if we could exchange it for one that wasn't damaged. Instead of helping us, he became very aggressive and repeatedly squeezed the NeeDoh right in our faces while saying, "There is nothing wrong with it." He was practically yelling at us, even though the toy clearly had a hole. The way he spoke to us and handled the situation was very unprofessional and disrespectful. It was a very disappointing customer service experience.

The have an area for new vinyl and an area for used vinyl, but you won't find yacht rock in one area; AOR in another. It's all together which makes it kind of cool to go through the bins never knowing what will pop up. Bought two LPs by unknown bands simply because I stumbled across the LP. Will check them out again next time I am in town.

Honestly, I thought they would have more of a toy selection but I was impressed by the large amount of kites and flags. We have not flown a kite in years but seeing all of them made us want to fly a kite. I see that it would be very appealing to stop by the store on a beach day, purchase one, and then fly on the beach next door. Or even just to stop in, browse and feel nostalgia when you are walking down the beach boardwalk. The toys felt like a random variety. I LOVE Palm Pal plushies so I loved that they had a pretty big section for them and they were all neatly displayed. But that is my preference. Everything else felt random, but then again I'm not a child so I cannot speak fully to what is and isn't a trend. I will note if you are sensitive to loud noises or have sensory concerns, there was a loud section in front of the store of those barking animatronic dog toy things. We found them to be obnoxious but manageable if you ventured deeper into the store. However, walking by that corner to exit I think they were triggered by motion so they started barking louder. So especially if you walk in through that section or try to browse near that section, I would caution its loud. Prices a little pricier than typical store prices but this is a store right on the beach. I purchased a fun little seagull magnet at $5.99. Customer service wasn't anything special and sales associate didn't really engage us. Just more of typical formalities when checking out. I don't think we would come in here again except if I wanted to purchase a kite or a Palm Pal.
