I informed the waiter that I had a severe gluten allergy, so I ordered a burger on their gluten-free bun. My order came out with fried jalapeños that were not gluten-free. When I asked about it, the waiter had to check and then confirmed that they contained gluten. If I hadn't caught this, eating them could have caused me severe pain. There was also an issue with cross-contamination, and the guacamole contained cheese, which I had to send back as well. The manager apologized and gave us a gift card to give the restaurant another try. However, during our next visit, we waited over a hour an a half for our food...This time, the manager apologized by giving us 1 free cookie. After these experiences, we have decided never to eat here again. If you have a gluten sensitivity or allergy, please be very cautious when dining here. I felt that the staff spent more time on their phones than taking the time to double-check food allergies and dietary restrictions. A few things to know before visiting: They charge $25 if you want to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes to the table. Parties larger than four also have to use one check, with an automatic 20% gratuity, so be prepared to split the bill yourselves. Overall, it's a cute spot for the ambiance, but the food didn't justify the prices for me.
