Today was my daughter's first day of camp. She truly enjoyed herself. She was sad to leave which is…read morealways a compliment to the program/camp. The facility is really nice with a classroom for before and after care, pro shop and viewing area for parents. The camp is from 9-3 and is a fun filled day of different gymnastics (before and after care is as early as 730 and late at 6pm and is FREE!!!). For my daughter, this was an excellent introduction to the sport and we are hopeful to continue in the fall with weekly sessions. Room for improvement: Lack of communication. I was told I would receive an email prior to the start of camp with specifics for the week and I never did. I was able to find all of the information needed from the website (which is very helpful and has easy class sign up). Also, I was a little uncomfortable with the lack of sign in and sign out. My husband dropped my daughter off, therefore they did to know me and didn't say anything as I packed my daughter's things and we quickly exited the building. I did come during the transition from camp to after care, but that is more reason to have eyes on children to ensure they leave with the appropriate people. All in all, I think the facility and program is very nice and with improvement of a couple things, they would have 5 stars :) Thank you so much for the email. I appreciate your time.

He loves the staff, we love the staff, the kids always have such a wonderful time and he is always coming home with new friends. We get to see many old and new friends who also attend the gym who may have moved but still go to the gym. They are always packed so that lets you know they're doing great things and the kids love it.

We absolutely love GGA. This gym came highly recommended to us from multiple friends and we are…read morevery glad we listened. The staff and coaches have been incredible since 2 of our kids started taking classes back in August. The front staff is extremely friendly and always take the time to chat with me while my kids are taking their classes. They have worked with us multiple times in finding the perfect class time for my 3 year old son, who is a little behind. He genuinely gets so excited to see Ms Janey every week and to do his butterflies and splits. I highly recommend trying Georgia Gymnastics Academy for your children whether they are just starting our like mine or have experience.

The teachers never…read moreformally introduce themselves, which is why I appreciate that it's a class where parents can stay and watch. Honestly, I'm not even sure if the teachers know the students' names. The final straw was their "Fun Day." Every year, parents are required to pay a fee before finding out which day their child will perform. Once the fee is paid, a date is provided--if enough students sign up. If the assigned date doesn't work for you, you only get half of your money back. That's completely unacceptable! A set schedule with exact dates should be provided at the beginning of the year. Aside from watching my child during class, there are no other opportunities for them to perform, which is disappointing. This year, I decided to voice my concerns. My first email was ignored, and when I called, I was simply told I would receive half of my fee back. At that point, it became clear that this is just a business, not one that prioritizes families or flexibility. In the end, I chose to withdraw. Please note that they responded promptly to my withdrawal request without any questions, reinforcing my belief that their focus is solely on the business. (The email was sent at 3:53 p.m., and by 3:59 p.m., I received a response: "Received! Thank you.") No, thank you! Lizbeth

The owner was so pleasant and welcoming. She let her join the kids in class even though there was only 30 minutes left. The teacher Mr. Luke was very encouraging and even remembered my daughter's name through out the class. The facility was clean and they even have a section for babies to play when you walk in. I'm looking forward to starting classes there for my daughter!

My oldest is now 10, he began going at age 2 when they were connected to Great Beginnings. They are now at 211 PIB, FYI. My younger two have gone since they were infants and I think we've had 3-4 of their birthday parties there. The owner & her staff have an amazing ability to connect with the kids & teach them skills while having a blast in an encouraging, safe environment. My boys have also gone to their summer camps & LOVED them, and we've taken them to countless Kids NIght Out events so we could enjoy a dinner/movie. Such a lifesaver if we decided last minute to do something & didn't have a sitter. My kids are now in school full time & several different sports and I now work FT, so we no longer attend classes. I just really appreciate the years they put into teaching my kids & being so caring and attentive. The owner has 4 grown kids and she always told me funny stories, and really understood how crazy & busy my life with 3 little boys was!! Also - 1 time my mom was visiting and had a terrible fall there. She was quite shaken up & very embarrassed. I had an infant in a car seat carrier at the time + a toddler who was there in class. The owner immediately came over to help my mom up, got her ice, offered to call an ambulance, etc....just totally put my mom at ease and that was priceless to me. Thank you so much, Metro Gym!!

Excellent gymnastics coaches, absolutely piss poor business. My wife and I signed up for the adult…read moregymnastics classes and we absolutely loved it. We were told that the first one was a trial and we had so much fun with the coach, I can't remember his name but he's awesome. The facility is nice and we had a good time so we said we would come back for the second one and officially sign up. Basically they said that for one month it would be $157 and we would need to sign something and I said okay, that was it. We showed up for 3 of the 4 following weeks and then around Thanksgiving we got super busy and we weren't able to make it for a couple of weeks. I'm thinking, damn well we paid for one class that we didn't go to that sucks but it's not the end of the world. We'll just start back in January when we have more time and start going all 4 weeks every month, no big deal. Fast foward to this week, I check my account as I'm out shopping for the holidays and there's another charge from Amplitude for $157. I call them immediately and get no answer, so I leave a message saying that nobody ever expressed to me that I had signed up for some kind of monthly subscription, I was just told it would be $157 for the month and asked if I could please be refunded. It was before open hours so I figured they'd call me back that night and then I'd explain there was a misunderstanding and no big deal we'd get refunded for December and start back in January. Nobody calls me back so I call the next day, and then the next 3 days after that. Calling and leaving a message every single time. One time a lady answered but told me that she wasn't involved with the office department but she'd have the office person call me right back. So a full WEEK goes by and I finally just got a call this morning at 10:30 AM from Amplitude and I'm thinking finally, someone is going to talk to me about this. Tell me why the first thing I hear from this woman on the phone is that I need to grow up and act like an adult who can read. That I signed a binding legal contract to be charged monthly for a gymnastics class and that in that contract it states that there is a 30-day notice if I want to drop the class or else they have the right to keep charging me until the end of time $157 monthly. NOBODY TOLD ME ANY OF THIS IN TO MY FACE ONE TIME. I understand that it might be in the contract but I am a customer and I trusted the business to give me the full information about the situation and AT AMPLITUDE THEY DO NOT CARE IF YOU UNDERSTAND THEIR SYSTEM. The woman that signed me up for the class literally told me "It will be $157 for the full month for both you and your wife, you can sign here and swipe/tap your card." Literally told me nothing else, not that it was a reoccurring payment, not that I needed to let them know BY EMAIL 30 days in advance if I ever plan to stop coming, nothing. I absolutely do not appreciate a local institution doing business this way. This is the kind of thing you would expect from over the phone scam callers and big business corporations trying to trick you into signing up for subscriptions. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the gymnastics class itself or the coaches, but I will not be coming back simply because of the way that this place runs it business and the way that I was treated by the employee on the phone. I have never been told to grow up and act like an adult, or asked if I can read by employee after a WEEK of me trying to get in touch with the business and sort it out. It's absolutely ridiculous and I hope that all of you make sure you read every word of every thing they make you sign here because I PROMISE they're not going to tell you everything you need to know. Absolutely piss poor business and terrible customer service, so rude and so unprofessional. Completely night and day from the respect and intelligence shown by the coaches. I feel bad that the coaches are being represented as a business in such a shotty, unprofessional, and shady way.
