He LOVES video games though, and we were excited to hear about Code Ninjas, where he could take his passion and learn something new and fun with others. We signed up to get information. And when I received an email about an upcoming Among Us event, where kids would play the game digitally and in person, I knew this would be right up his alley. We signed him up. Registration was easy - we signed up online, and they called to confirm. When the day of the event rolled around, we dropped him off and within minutes received an text that read simply, "I'm having a really good time!!!" (Followed by various emojis) At the conclusion of the event, our son could not stop raving about what a good time he had. Code Ninjas called us a few days later and offered us a free coding session. We signed up right away. We look forward to getting more involved and will update the review as soon as we have more and new experiences.

At issue was a song with lyrics that I felt were innapropriate for young children. We asked if they would change the music or refund our money. We were told that the parents liked the popular music and that toddlers couldn't understand the lyrics anyway. I disagree, but very well, I will take my refund and go away. They offered to not charge me for the second month, but refused to give back my money for the first month even though we only attended one class. If you care about the music that your toddlers listen to, please ask ahead of time before you commit to the payment. They do screen the popular music for bad lyrics, but they did not inform me during the free class that popular music was going to be played. The free class had children's music. I am sure my standards are going to be viewed as too strict, but I didn't like the lyrics to "I'm just a girl". I don't think it's healthy to tell little girls who are still forming their precious personalities that they are just girls, and that is all we will let them be. Even worse, I don't want my son growing up with that view of women. If you care about the music your child listens too, be sure to ask about the songs they will play before giving them your money.

I specially love that the pre school steps class they have it where there are group activities and also free play after every group activity. But they have no problem keeping the hundreds of dollars we gave for meet fees that were never even paid for the meets. I have a daughter who is a little over weight, reason we are here, and hates stuff like this; however, she loves this place. They both do!! People here are friendly, fun and serious about their journey. They are great with teaching the kids proper form which was my main concern! And keeping it engaging. Secretly I'm kinda watching the adults too! Their program with their fun coach seems pretty solid also. Love this place. As long as the hours and days work with ours, we will be here for a very long time. Parking is right outside and plentiful! We pay one price which allows us to come 3 times a week!

A gym member pointed at us and told the coach we may need help then she finally turned back around to address us. The vibe was very stuck up and not welcoming. We decided to try the free workout since we were already there. But to top off the bad experiences, the coach (don't remember her name but she was an older woman with short dark hair) was all over my husband l. Kept following him to speak to make convo and giving him extra attention. Pretty shameless and unprofessional. We both felt extremely uncomfortable. I haven't trained with her a day in my life nor had a long conversation, however, since the beginning-she has always had a contagious smile and energy about herself that makes you love her and want to know who she is! The amenities are great, and I've really enjoyed the variety of classes offered. I haven't tried all of the classes, but my favorites have been BodyPump, yoga/yogalates, Spin, and especially Burn on the Turf with Deeno. His class had an incredible energy--it was challenging, high-energy, unique and he was always encouraging, motivating and would brighten up everyone's day with his vibrant spirit. It was genuinely one of the classes I looked forward to attending regularly. That said, there are a few things that have been disappointing. First, the parking situation can be ridiculous, especially during busy times. I've honestly started wondering if some of the dirt/grass areas could potentially be utilized as overflow parking. Second, I don't understand why they won't change the water filters or consistently have towels available for use. I also recently signed up for one of the personal training promotions. Unfortunately, my trainer was late or canceled on a couple occasions and seemed to have forgotten about my last two 30-minute training sessions. That was disappointing, especially after paying for the package. However, I will say that trainer is very knowledgeable with his gift. I respect him- but not the fact I didn't receive what I paid for. Should be, but it's not a huge deal. Let's just say I won't be paying for more packages in the future. Another thing I've noticed from a member's perspective is what appears to be a noticeable difference in how certain employees are treated. Management may not realize how much customers can see from the outside looking in. Some employees seem to receive significantly more recognition, opportunities, and visibility than others--whether that's consistently being featured on social media or being allowed to host classes that aren't even listed on the app for all paying members. It creates the impression that some employees are valued much more than others, and that's difficult to overlook. As a leader at my own place of work- who leads with humility, these things are very important to me. There isn't one employee who would be able to tell you they are not seen, heard nor valued. Lastly, I was extremely disappointed to hear that Deeno is no longer with OneLife. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to speculate about the circumstances. However, I will say that as a member, it was obvious how much people valued him and his classes. His Bootcamp had a following and brought a level of energy and community that was special. It's genuinely disappointing to lose an instructor who made members excited to show up and work hard. Overall, I still think OneLife is a pretty decent gym with a lot to offer, and I'll continue going for the time being. I just hope management takes some of these concerns into consideration, especially when it comes to recognizing the employees and instructors who make such a positive impact on the members.
