Excellent Experience. Staff was kind, place was clean, and classes were fun. Absolutely best place for summer activities. 5 Stars.

Worst experience ever! The instructor/owner does not care about the students at all and lacks…read morecommunication skills. Let me start off by saying we interviewed a few teachers over the summer and went with her because it was closest to our home. She hesitated to give us a trial class for free but finally agreed. After the class she was SO pushy for us to pay. My daughter wanted to learn dancing and it was close to our house to we decided to try it out. The teacher bragged about how she is building a brand new studio. When classes began in fall, the studio was not ready and we had to take classes in the basement of her home. We had to park in her driveway and kept getting dirty looks from her neighbors as most neighborhoods don't allow you to conduct businesses from home. She assured it is just for one or two lessons, yet we were there for more than a month. How did we learn that the class moved from her house to the studio? She posted a note on her basement door when we arrived for class. Another family also arrived at her house only to be notified that the class had been moved so it would have been nice if she called us or emailed us to notify the entire classroom. When we arrived to the studio and asked her if she emailed us, she brushed it off like "Oh, I didn't email you?" So the "brand new studio" was complete without a mirror in the front so nobody could see themselves dance but it at least took away the uncomfortable feeling of going to the basement of her home. Side note: The mirror was added a week or two later. The semester was finished and we have to go overseas for a wedding and take a vacation for a month at the beginning of the year when the new semester was about to start. We notified the owner about our plans and she was SO adamant about paying her full tuition before we left on vacation. My daughter wanted to dance more so we obliged, so we paid. We had to cut the trip short from a month to a week due to COVID19 virus becoming a problem in Asia. The Coronavirus starts spreading and my wife and I decide not to send our daughter to class when we returned. It's been over 3 months and the owner doesn't even reach out to see if we are ok or returning to class. I finally emailed the teacher and she said "You won't believe it, I actually thought about you". Ok, so you thought about us but didn't reach out via email or call me to see if my daughter would continue attending the class. Sure I believe it. The virus got worse and once there was a lockdown, she emailed the class and moved the classes online. After doing a few classes online, one day my wife and I were working late and asked our daughter who is in college to pay attention to her sister's dance class while she was taking an exam online. When I return home, my 6 year old daughter comes to me crying. I asked her what happened and she said she joined the Zoom call and tried to adjust the iPad so that the instructor could see her feet. The iPad stand was tough to angle that way so she took her baby sister's stuffed animal to try and prop the iPad. My daughter raised her hand to explain to the teacher what she is trying to do, as she is taught in Montessori school and the teacher ignored her and kicked her out of the Zoom call. My 6 year old daughter tried to rejoin and was blocked from the call. Wow! I emailed the teacher to ask what happened and she was not apologetic at all and just repeated "It must be some misunderstanding." To ignore a student trying to explain something to you and kick them off and block them from returning to the class is completely unacceptable. If my daughter was being disruptive, she simply could have been placed on mute and block her video by the owner so she can continue the class. Absolutely no reason to completely block her and prevent her from rejoining. But since the teacher has problem sending basic emails, she probably does not know Zoom has a mute feature. I emailed the teacher notifying her our daughter does not want to continue class and of course her response is "Absolutely no refunds." So in summary, if you want all these then this is the perfect class for you: 1. To be lied to by a teacher claiming to have sent you numerous emails about classes and announcements, thus leading to poor communication 2. Pay a lot of money for the teacher to play on her phone for most of the class while high schoolers primarily teach the class for her (there is a reason parents are not allowed to stay to watch the class) 3. Bully your child and make them cry because the teacher does not know how to use Zoom and kicks her off the call and blocks her from rejoining She might have been some big shot dancer back in the day, but she doesn't know anything about interacting with children or how to teach. Do yourself a favor and sign up for another class if your child is interested in dancing. Don't make the same mistake we did - this one will ruin your child's desire.
