Joana the owner, is very interactive. Second experience was a girls night with a friend and our daughters. Again, Joana was very interactive with the entire group and although the painting was a little more advanced, she made sure my 8 year old kept up with the rest of the class. The most recent experience was by far the best; my daughter's birthday party. Something I would highly recommend for mother's of kids that love art. Joana was present , but another instructor led the class (unfortunately I cannot remember her). She was excellent as well, and very patient with a group of jumping, cheering girls. Painting was done in stages with breaks for snacks, happy birthday song and opening presents. Everyone loved the party and I received many compliments from other parents. Well worth the money. My oldest has been there since he was a Butterfly (their youngest toddler class) and is currently enrolled in their Transitional Kindergarten class (one of only a few offered in the city) and we couldn't be happier! As a parent, especially of little ones, one of my main concerns is that they are cared for and protected as though they were in my care whenever I'm not present and that's exactly what they do- if not more! Every single educator or staff member that my children have come in contact with shows them love and genuine interest in each of them. It truly is a wonderful community to be a part of. The parents are engaged and a huge part of the community making this school extra special! From assisting in the classrooms for parties and class projects to forming committees for their larger events and fundraisers. Their administrative staff is such a great group of women. They truly take the time to know the families and their children. Rhonda, the director, is such a special person who somehow always has time for everyone! She has a way of making you always feel at ease with whatever concerns you might have. As for the actual school itself- it truly is magical. I remember when we toured the school the feeling of ease and peace that we felt while walking through the lamp lit rooms with their esthetically pleasing wooden blocks and art filled walls and hallways. Hearing about their Reggio program (children should have some control over their learning) and how it really encompassed what we wanted in a curriculum for our children and sealed the deal for us. This sweet preschool holds such a special place in our hearts and we can't recommend it enough to anyone and everyone who is looking for a school for their little!

Never have I seen so many people standing around, walking around, yet so little getting actually getting done. Our server finally came to our table after we've been waiting for 15 min. I ordered everything. Drinks didn't come out so I had to ask the host to order the drinks and he was nice enough to oblige. 30 min goes by. I haven't seen our server anywhere. Completely disappeared. There are tons of orders sitting there under a heat lamp. People looking like they're just waiting. For what? For the food to be ready? Well there it is! People keep coming and going into this employee entrance looking like they're busy doing something important but I wonder what. Finally our server appears to ask "how are we doing"? Huh? What about the food? She says she'll check on it. It was just sitting there under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Now all dried out. Advice to manage: get this place sorted out. Come up with efficient processes to get food out to people ASAP. Dedicated food runners who run our food as soon as it's ready. Something! Oh and the best employee there was the bartender. He was manning the bar AND busing people's tables, getting their checks. Props to him!
