I'm torn on this pizza joint, Little Sicily. Small place outside of Reading PA, with a cool little pizza joint vibe. Smells great inside, friendly service from the employees. I called an order in, one small pepperoni Stromboli and one small Buffalo Chicken calzone. When I arrived I was handed a large box and a smaller box. I paid and off to the hotel I went to feed my wife. Before we sat down to eat I glanced inside the boxes. To which I stayed to my wife, "I hope you're really hungry". Her Pepperoni Stromboli was massive, I'm talking feeding three adult males massive. Now, my wife's whole point from ordering from Little Sicily was that she wanted a lot of cheese. This Pepperoni Stromboli was loaded to the brim with excessive amounts of mozzarella cheese. Thick amounts of pepperoni stuffed inside of a large pizza dough, which ended up tasting very plain. It was just to much, maybe a blend of Provolone or Provenello would help. My Buffalo Chicken calzone was not far off from the same. While it had Ricotta cheese mixed in with the mozzarella. You could see the chicken but you could not taste chicken or Buffalo sauce. Cheese overload in both! I honestly wished for more Buffalo sauce and maybe some bacon to give it that perfect salty balance it needed. read more

Ordered takeout. I got the manicotti and also ordered wings and meatballs. The wings are huge and the order of meatballs were the best I've EVER had. The manicotti was perfect and came with salad and garlic knots. Every single item was fabulous. I'm picky and when I'm craving really good Italian food I'll drive to my favorite place in Hammonton NJ. Not kidding. I've had decent Italian food around here but this place is outstanding. read more

The Popeye Pizza was excellent! It was loaded with toppings (ricotta, spinach, tomato) and tasted fresh & flavorful, even after carrying it out and transporting it home. We got it double cut and two half slices were plenty filling. Excited to try more from this new pizzeria! read more

Bad first impression - walked in, went up to order a to go order. The manager (may have been owner) was talking to a sales person, saw me waiting but continued with the sales people. Once the conversation ended he turned and walked into the kitchen. After a few minutes someone else took my order. Pizza may have made up for the poor service. Excellent thin crust and sauce. Next time I'll call ahead and avoid being ignored. read more

We just moved from Montgomery county and I was a little concerned we wouldn't find a good pizza place but I was dead wrong! The pizza is amazing, thin crust, fresh toppings, piping hot. The owner is very nice. Order out or eat in--we've only ever ordered out though. read more

have been going pretty frequently and tonight we got a detroit style with meatballs, ricotta, and sweet peppers and an xl norristown red top pie and omg each one was delicious as always. i've also had the turkey avacado blt before and that was also delicious! read more
