We haven't ordered from Little Sicily since they moved locations, so when my husband ordered pizza as a surprise one Saturday night, I was excited to try it again. Considering this family loves cheese I was shocked he opted for the tomato pie, a thick crust with a thick tomato sauce on top. The sauce was one of the best sauces I have had in the area. I like mine a little sweet and this was perfect. The second pizza he chose was the Greek, which was basically a white pizza with broccoli and tomatoes and feta cheese instead of the typical ricotta. The feta actually was a pairing I didn't know I needed and it was so much better than I envisioned. We will definitely be ordering from Little Sicily again. read more

A day of two cheesesteaks with broccoli rabe, provolone and roasted peppers with Amigo Dan and his sidekick Eric took us to Little Sicily. These are the reviews I don't like to do because it looks like a new business venture and the Rowan students are mostly virtual so the town of Glassboro is dead meaning most of the businesses are dead and I feel like I'm kicking someone when they are down but this cheesecake just wasn't that good. We took it to Bonesaw Brewing. It is a short ride and the roll did not hold up very well. It needed more better meat. I don't normally read/write reviews, as much is untrustworthy these days. But I feel that this particular issue must be addressed - hopefully by the business owners. My kids & I decided to try this place out as it's pretty local & the online menu seemed well-rounded & reasonably priced. To make a long story (hopefully) shorter, I would rate the food as 4.5 stars - very very good, as was the overall service. My problem was with the pricing - rather, the fairly big discrepancy between the "website" & the actual, in-person menu. We we particularly looking at the "lunch specials". On the "website", the prices are listed as $11.49, but in the restaurant, the paper menu showed $13.49. That doesn't seem so bad in & of itself, but I questioned the discrepancy with the gentleman who took our order (don't know if he was part-owner/owner, or an employee). The only explanation he offered was that "we don't even use the website anymore", even though it's a fully functional site, with their current address & phone number, as well as fully functioning navigation. As a former "techie", I'm acutely aware of how websites/web hosting works. One doesn't pay for hosting if the site isn't meant to be accessed, along with other bells & whistles associated with sites like this. Now $6.00 (the difference between what I expected to pay/actual cost) doesn't seem that much, but in these days of hyper-inflation, that $6.00 was about 13% of our total. It makes a difference - not only to me, but more so to the college students raised on digital interfaces. They see one price on the web, & another in person. Oh, & NOWHERE does the site state that the posted prices for specials is an "online-only" deal, so we expected to pay the price on the website. In short, this needs to be addressed immediately, with the restaurant either removing its website (since, according to them, it's "not being used anymore"), or correcting it with the current prices. I will be contacting the BBB to find out if this constitutes false advertising, & will proceed from there - unless, that is, the owners correct the problem. Incidentally, this same, incorrectly priced website is posted right here on Yelp. That also needs to be removed - again, unless Yelp wants to get a bad review for pointing customers to outdated websites & pricing. Thank you. read more

One margarita pizza, one calzone and 10 wings $48 delivered before tip. Margarita, the dough wasn't a good taste or texture,the sauce was like tomato paste with no seasoning and the "Buffalo mozzarella " was scarce to be polite $21.00. The calzone had sesame seeds all over it, nuff said.$10.00. Garlic wings were good, no complaint. There are just too many decent shops around to order from here. La Scala fire in Glassboro is supposed to be "fancy" and it would have been better and cheaper to order from there. read more

Ordered from here once so far and was actually surprisingly impressed with their pizza. We got half plain, half buffalo chicken and both were very good. The buffalo chicken had a great taste and the chicken was in small cubes which I liked. The plain had a very flavorful sauce, a little bit sweet which is perfect. Crust is a little thick for my liking but I guess that's a South Jersey thing because it's that way everywhere (being from North Jersey I prefer that thin crispy crust.) Overall, it's one of the best places we've gotten delivery from. Delivery was pretty quick too. Will most likely order from here again! read more

I have had takeout from Little Sicily on many occasions. Based on the quality/quantity for the price its a solid four star gem. One of several meals I have ordered was the eggplant rollitini. It is excellent for a quick service pizza shop. Comes with salad, bread and a side of pasta. More than enough for one person and shareable. Great especially for the price. Their pizza is also decent for the Glassboro area. Don't feel like cooking but want decent Italian take out, then this is the place to go. Service is also friendly and quick. Not exaggerating: worst pizza and experience I've ever had. We placed a timed order for 6:00 on Superbowl Sunday. While I completely understand that they were busy, having worked in pizza restaurants for 4 and a half years now, I am disgraced by the way they handled the order. Not only did we not recieve our pizza til nearly 6:50, but the pizza was extremely undercooked. The crust was white and flimsy, the cheese wasn't fully properly melted, and it was just terrible. When I say just terrible I mean: the ingredients are clearly super cheap which I understand might be cost-effective to their business, but it really just genuinely is not good. And of course there was no compensation for the nearly hour late order. This is not how a small business should ever be run. While I understand they were busy, they could've handled the situation way better. For this experience, they will certainly never get my business again. read more

About a month ago I order food from Little Sicily. I was told my food would arrive in 30 to 35 min. After 55 min I call to see where my food was. Guy who answered was kinda rude and just said it's on the way. No apology or anything. After an hour and 10 minutes the driver finally showed up and acted like nothing was wrong. The order was like$31 and I gave $40. The delivery goes do you want change? I said yes I've been waiting over an hour and I got no apology when I called 15 min ago. He goes digging through his pockets and says all I have is $3. How do these guys send a delivery guy out with only $3 in change. Of course I took the $3 but I will never order from this place again. i placed a simple order today at 2:15pm from my office ONLY FIVE MINUTES AWAY (maybe even less) for a cheesesteak with fried onions and green peppers with a pepsi...the time is now 4:15pm and there is still no food or phone call. Best food and great prices for Glassboro. The wings and pizza are great. The chicken is fresh and the veal is also fresh. They have some of the best fresh to order dinners also. Delivery is quick, prompt and accurate. I always get the foccacia paninis as they make them fresh and make the foccacia bread right at the shop. Their food is fantastic. The service is great and the deliveries are quick. I love everything they have to offer and I love ordering their American cheese fries. Me and my daughter love the mild sauce they use for their wings and we always get it on the side to dip our fries in. We love to get the American cheese fries with the steak fries because they are very tasty. Their buffalo chicken cheese steak with ranch dressing is awesome. Occasionally we eat in but most of the time get delivery because it is quick and convenient. You must try this place if you have a chance as they are always great. I also love the burgers here as they are a lot of burger for a great price. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
