The food is fantastic. The restaurant is sparsely decorated with chairs and benches at the tables. Today the server, a young man, seemed to be alone in the store. We got our water but were never offered anything else or asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We ordered or did, both got the #27 vermicelli special. So much delicious food. This restaurant is known for its sauces, you can buy them in the store and they used to feature them at the table to add to your food, chili oil and sriracha too, but there were no sauces on the table today, or any other table! The waiter never came by again and I had to approach the till to get a box to take home the bosses leftovers and pay the bill. Great food. No sauces. Lack luster service. read more

First of all, Yuck. i ordered the lemon chicken at $22.00. i was expecting a nicely flavoured chicken breast. Instead I got a pile of flavourless dry brown thigh meat. Seriously gross. The vermicelli-also dry. The only thing i are was the three spring rolls. I will not be back. read more

Located in Junction plaza, probably the go-to shopping for Mission folks, gorgeous out here! With the mountains and all, less traffic & chaos but I digress. Only Vietnamese eatery in the area, and nice one albeit too. Still prefer their Abbotsford as it seems more heritage-like in the DT hood, more spacious too. They used the wrong noodles, they were angel hair thin and all mashed together in an impossible ball. and the broth, the most important thing, was essentially tasteless. Really didn't like the pho, and when the server quality checked me, I told her as much. To that she replied, "Not what you were expecting? Have you had Vietnamese before?" Yes, I have had Vietnamese before. If you are going to make an assumption, auto-assuming the customer is not savvy is not good. I understand in Mission maybe there isn't so much pho around, but Vancouver isn't THAT far away. Oh, and it's actually pricey when compared to cheap Kingsway Vietnamese, another minus, especially since you know they're paying less rent for their space. As I am from East Vancouver, I normally do not venture out this far but since I was in the area, I thought I would give it a go. The atmosphere was pleasant and the price was fair. The spring rolls were made really fresh, and crispy. The chicken wings were delicious and had the perfect amount of spices. I would highly recommend to anyone. I ordered salad rolls and I forgot to say which ones and she didn't ask me which ones I wanted. So she just gave me the stand with shrimp. Two mediocre salad rolls for an overpriced $8.00. I told her I can't eat shrimp. She just shrugged and said it was my fault because I wasn't specific and she would have to throw them out. She refused to replace them. I feel like this restaurant is abusing their monopoly as the only place in town to get pho. $35 for mid grade soup, pork on rice and a couple of salad rolls. And the audacity to offer suggested interac tip rates of 15, 20 and 25% that you need a degree in computer science to get out of if you are getting takeout and not tipping. This is not a white tablecloth restaurant, this is a heist. The first time I went here my girlfriend and I ordered our food and waited 20 minutes, and another couple sat down next to us, ordered the exact same thing and got theirs before us. It was another 40 minutes before we got our food. 10/10 will drive to abbotsford next time, can't believe I went back a second time. read more

This little Vietnamese restaurant in the Junction makes absolutely delicious spring rolls, tasty vermicelli and soup, and yummy Pho (according to hubby). Favourite dish is the Saigon Special: pork brochette, prawns and spring rolls over vermicelli and salad. Om nom nom! You will probably take home leftovers. Same experience that other reviews tasteless food! Little Saigon is the perfect example of why you should never franchise traditional food. It just does not work! Ordered takeout, asked for no meat, and got home to find rare meat... So I'm guessing I paid for it as well? So was overcharged for something I never ordered, threw out, and the pho was not good anyways. Salad rolls are FAR overpriced. Do not recommend and not return. read more

Really good vietnamese food. Not as good as new saigon in Abbotsford, but if you just can't be bothered to drive over the bridge, it's close enough. Friendly service, kid friendly and a nice dinner out in Mission. read more

The $11 "special" Saigon seafood soup had the grand total of two prawns and a little finger of mock crab. I ordered it sans squid. You would think they could have thrown a few more prawns in for that. The hot and spicy tomato broth was flavourful. I've been here many times. Mission has a very limited places to dine. The soup here is good, as are chicken dishes. I went here Aug.12th 2012. There were only another couple sitting down when we arrived and a few minutes after we sat down they told the waitress they changed their minds and walked out? She was barely attentive, and I had to interrupt her sweeping of the floor to tell her that we were ready to order. "Just a minute" she said as she finished her sweeping. She then took our order. No smile, no happiness, she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but at work. I've had great service here before, not this time. I ordered their wings, I guess you can opt for them spicy, I decided to keep them non spicy. They were extremely disappointing. Even gross. They were tiny, overcooked shriveled pieces of chicken. They had an odd sour taste to them, with sprinkles of a bright red (hot!) small chili thrown in. I know this place is vietnamese, but I figured they could cook a decent chicken wing. If it weren't for my ravenous kid who gobbled them up, I would have sent them back. Waste of $11. I had a combo special with rice, chicken, springrolls and salad. The chicken had great flavor and wasn't overcooked. The rest was decent and what you would expect. My son ordered the wonton soup and it was good. Large pieces of meat and prawns and was filling. Great food, great service and the cocktails are amazing. Most pho restaurants are hole in the walls type places but this was an actual restaurant. I enjoyed the soup and salad roll and would defiantly recommend a Miss Saigon ( I think thats what its called ) Hope to come back soon read more

Any time we have been here, it was clean, friendly, and the food was excellent. I had never tried pho and the owner kindly brought me a bit to try and explained what pho is and how he makes it. You have to try the Vietnamese iced tea. It has a bit of coconut in it and is TDF! read more
