Great empanadas!
Steve G.

Really good little place to eat in a shopping center in a nice part of Houston. Delicious crust on the empanadas! Nice people and love the way these empanadas are stamped with what's in them... Great place!

Very friendly Argentinean attendants! I took my parents to eat empanadas. They had chicken and ham and cheese and liked them. I had a spinach empanada. They're really good quality. The chimichurri is served in a small plastic container. For dessert we had apple and Nutella with bananas empanadas. Be prepared to pay for each empanada a little bit over $4.

What a cute stop! We stopped here for a light bite after church on Sunday before getting ready for our Super Bowl plans later in the day. Little Patagonia gives coffee shop vibes, but with Argentine empanadas. I even saw what looked like a study group and immediately recalled memories of gathering in coffee shops in college. When you order at the counter, you can see all the different empanadas available behind the counter. We opted for 6 between the 2 of us: ham and cheese, spicy beef, and spicy chicken. They were delicious! I love the flaky crust of the ham and cheese and was impressed that the spicy beef/chicken was actually spicy - so good! We also ordered some dessert empanadas to take with us; I liked the strawberry and nutella! Only reason for 4 stars is that since it was our first time, I would have appreciated a bit more guidance from the staff on their empanadas. Overall service wasn't bad though. Oh and lots of parking available in the shopping center!

Guava & cheese, spinach, spicy beef, & spicy texas brisket. I love it here!

Still have nothing but great things to say about my favorite empanadas cafe. Today I did an online order for the first time and had enough points for a free empanada. When I went inside I was kindly greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter as she was preparing my food. I took a seat on the cozy booth surrounded by others working from their laptops and enjoying their coffee. The server brought my food to my table hot and neat. She also offered to bring me a cup of water. I ordered their eggs, bacon & cheese as well as the mushrooms, onions and cheese. Both were delicious! I will be seeing them again soon!

I enjoyed my time at Little Patagonia. I went for a meetup event so I don't think there would typically be that many people there so service was a bit array simply because our party size was difficult to manage. Nevertheless, I ordered the hot chocolate, beef and brisket empanadas. The brisket empanada was a favorite and the beef was good. Flavorful and juicy filling which a crisp exterior. I would return.

Excellent empanadas the staff was so helpful with suggestions and the food was great! You get a dozen for around $50 and get two free with a dozen(cheese) the location is spacious with plenty parking spaces

Stopped by on a whim while traveling and was not disappointed! Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this place is a total hidden gem and we loved how the empanadas were displayed and stamped! Everything from the food and drink to the service was amazing! Food: We ordered the Bacon Egg and Cheese, Spicy Chicken, and Apple empanadas. The bacon egg and cheese had an interesting shape and were super yummy on the inside. Incredibly flakey, crisp dough and cheesy center! One note would be to include more egg, but we understand that it's part of the mixture. The spicy chicken empanada was a favorite and the chimichurri sauce served with it was 10/10. The apple empanada was alright. The filling was a bit sour, but we really like the presentation with the powdered sugar. Drinks: We ordered a cappuccino that was delicious and an iced chai latte. No complaints! Great breakfast and lunch spot. We also noticed that they serve beer on draft.

My son has been on a Cortado kick lately and so we decided to try Little Patagonia on one of our recent trips to the Galleria area. Don't let the unassuming exterior deter you from trying this place. Our biggest problem was deciding which empanadas we wanted. We ended up trying the egg, bacon, & cheese empanadas, beef and spicy beef empanadas, guava empanadas, strawberry and Nutella empanadas and ham and cheese empanada. All the empanadas were yummy but the beef and spicy beef empanadas were our favorite savory options. Just the right balance of flavors and don't forget to ask for their signature chimichurri sauce. Add a little of that to every bite and you won't be disappointed. The day we went they were out of the guava and cheese empanadas and frankly the plain guava ones are a bit too sweet for me. I imagine the guava and cheese are probably the perfect balance as cream cheese tends to cut through the sweetness of guava. As for the Cortados both my hubby and son were very happy with them. "Nice and smooth" was phrase they kept saying and lots of nods of the head. That's about as good as it gets! We will definitely be back.

I started out with two empanadas and was BLOWN AWAY! The best empanadas I've ever had and proceeded to buy more in different flavors cause they were so good. I enjoyed all of them. I got spicy beef, spicy chicken, lamb, spinach, banana, and apple and all of them were amazing. I can't even say I had a favorite and I do feel they are reasonably priced as well. The choriban however was okay. For $16 I don't think it was worth it. It was good, but I would only order the empanadas next time I'm here. I do like that the bread was very garlicly. Like garlic butter bread kind of. You have to order up front and most of the time they do bring your food to the table, or you might have to pick it up from the cashier. Cute and quiet. Great place to catch up with friends. 100% would come back again for ANY kind of empanadas.

I absolutely think this is a hidden gem in Houston! The empanadas and coffee is sooo good, and the owner is such a sweetheart. Little Patagonia always has good music, and the ambiance is really chill and calming. FYI It can get busy during lunch time but still really efficient and fast.

Empanadas! Ham & cheese, spicy beef, nutella banana

Stopped by this place on a whim when looking for some coffee, but the empanadas were phenomenal! We tried the Ham and cheese, spicy beef, and a nutella and banana empanada. The spicy beef was the favorite. It so good I considered taking a dozen home. The ham and cheese was also good- the cheese was melted and gooey :) I liked how the cooked the empanadas to order. They didnt feel just warmed but fresh. Overall highly recommend! Great service staff and the ambiance was cute. They also serve wine!

Come here for Empanadas Heaven! We ordered three: ham & cheese, spicy beef, and banana & Nutella. Ham & cheese is traditional and is a classic that you can't go wrong with. The spicy beef with chimichurri sauce was delicious. The banana & Nutella was okay, the Nutella got a bit cooked and wasn't the same smooth consistency at one end of the empanada. The service was fast and friendly! The ambiance is filled wihh the empanadas and wine. We wished we could have tried some of the wine!

We enjoyed a visit to Little Patagonia. They even have very good iced latte coffee drinks. We enjoyed a plethora of empanadas. Everything we tried was very tasty and tender and the crust was very light. The branding was a nice touch. We shared a beef, a spicy beef, a spinach, a brisket and a pumpkin empanada. The one star deduction was because they were pretty small.

Spicy chicken, spicy beef, hidden is guava and cheese

I love to eat at El Bolillo Bakery. It all started because my boyfriend really loves their conchas,…read moreso he was the one who introduced me to the place. I've always liked bakeries, but I try to eat on the healthier side, so I usually avoid anything that might tempt me.But I am a sucker for cinnamon rolls, so when I saw they had them, of course I had to try one and they are so, so good. Now we actually go there about once every two weeks because we love it that much and I look forward to opening the front doors and smelling the sweet smell of baked goods Recently we also found out that they have cheese & sausage kolaches, and oh my gosh, they are delicious. They are really, really good and were such a nice surprise when we tried them. The location closest to us is the one on Airline Drive, and we usually go in the afternoon so we can avoid the after-work crowd. That time of day works really well for us because there aren't too many people, which makes it easier to grab bread and look around without feeling rushed. The ordering process is pretty quick and simple. You grab your metal tray and tongs, open each little door, pick what you want, and put it on the tray. When you're ready, you go to the register where the ladies count the breads, ring everything up, and bag it nicely for you. We're usually in and out pretty fast, which we really like. We love going to El Bolillo, and at this point it has definitely become a staple for us. We honestly can't get enough of it.

This Argentinian grill and market has been on my radar to stop by for the past few months…read more It is easily located in Spring Branch off Hammerly and Gessner. We came for the specialty market to buy some items from Argentina. This place was packed with every table taken and several people waiting on a Sunday at 3pm so it must be really good. We saw homemade alfores which I absolutely love and they even had the crackers we love at their small market. With pictures of Argentina and Messi on their walls you tell the warm friendly atmosphere although busy. Will definitely return for lunch or dinner after reading the Yelp reviews. This place looks legit !!

Oh.my.goodness. I LOVE THIS PLACE!…read more To be honest, we discovered it by accident since we were in an area about 30 minutes from our home. Needless to say, those 30 minutes are worth it and I've already been twice! There is free parking which is always a plus. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you are in Latin America. The decor is pretty neat and they sell traditional Argentinian candy, snacks and chocolates. We tried the Argentinian empanadas (because of course we had to) as well as the choripán and they were good but my favorite by far was the Chinchulines (small intestine a.k.a. chitterlings). Yum! Service has been great both times. If you are interested in having an alcoholic drink, call ahead of time to inquire as you are able to bring a bottle of wine but there is a corkage fee. I will DEFINITELY be back!
