Specialties
Little Oliver's Helping Hands LLC, provides non-medical home care, specializing in senior care. Our caregivers assist with personal care, mobility limitations, activities of daily living, home management and companion care needs. Our goal is to promote better quality of living for the seniors in our community. We are different from other home care agency's because our caregivers are licensed CNA's or licensed caregivers. That means our employees are held at a higher standard than what you would get with some other home care agencies. Also we don't have a 3 to 4-hour minimum like other agencies, you only pay for the time you need. In fact, the more time you need the cheaper the cost is to you.
History
Established in 2012.
When I opened My Little Oliver's Helping Hands, I had no idea all it took to run a successful business. All I knew is that I had the will and courage to give it a try. I figured every day I took a step towards my dream, it meant that I was that much closer to actually achieving it. One of my favorite quotes is "I would rather try and fail than to never try at all and succeed." So that's what I did, I jumped in with both feet and didn't look at where I would land. I failed at a lot of things at first, but eventually I landed on solid ground. I've learned from each of my failures and I'm thankful for them, as they teach me how to be and do better next time. When I opened Little Oliver's Helping Hands, it was just me "winging it." Being a caregiver I could do blindfolded, but running a business, I had a lot to learn, and I am still learning. It's not just me anymore, now I have a growing team, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to help people in need.
Meet the Business Owner: Rebecca C.
I've been a caregiver since I could first legally work a job, at the age of 16. Taking care of seniors has always just kind of been in my blood. It is what I was born to do. I opened Little Oliver's Helping Hands two months after a dear friend and patient of mine passed away, his name was Oliver. Oliver changed my way of thinking just by believing in me. I wanted to start this business as an avenue to help seniors and caregivers in a way that I felt was more meaningful. Most agencies seem to be focused on quantity and not quality care, and for me it's always been about quality. I've learned so much from seniors and I enjoy the happiness and satisfaction they get from receiving quality care. What excites me the most about running this business is the possibilities of being able to eventually help seniors throughout their whole aging process, providing them with not only quality care but of actual peace of mind.
