Today we were informed that they had scheduling problems and they could not meet our needs. They didn't even offer other days or times as an option until we asked. Even at that they weren't sure they could help out. She wasted our time even coming & we could have been talking to companies that can help.

Care From The Heart was hired to assist my Mother, Whom was afflicted by Alzheimers, with simple things she used to do as part of a Daily routine, but due to the illness became struggles of mental acceptance. [bathing, changing into clean clothes, tidying up around her house, fixing adequately nutritious meals, etc.] Most staff sent out to care for my Mother were Patronizing and Placating when interacting with her. And whenst my Mother would have a symptomatic mood swing, would become Personally offended and leave their shift early, sometimes not returning. My Mother is Gentle, but Strong-Willed. Non-violent, but Verbal. The only times she got into a mood swing were when the Care From The Heart staff grew unprofessionally frustrated, and Impatiently tried to FORCE her to do things she was not Ready to do. The Activity sheets, kept in a Binder, for the Family and their Boss to review, were Frequently scribed with unvarying, Routine entries, when they were not Simplistic and akin to Milking-the-Time-clock.

One of the residents name Caroline was on dialysis and Terry nor his wife helped her to get to her appointments and I had to call the ambo multiple times. They would take the residents EBT card and steal their benefits. Terry had came onto me many times and blocked me in a residents room. Terry had also sexually harassed the female residents. I gave each resident their meds on time and made them breakfast lunch and dinner based on their nutrition needs and Terry and his wife would get mad at me. I even allowed the residents to pick what they wanted for dinner. We would have votes every now and then and Terrys wife was so mad at me for that. When i was made to leave a month before he was shut down for non payment of the rental property he bashed my great grandmothers cedar chest who passed away. All they care about is stealing from the needy. They do not care for the residents. They just care about the money. Please please do not put your loved ones in any 2cd Chance Group Home ran by Terry. Behind closed doors I firmly believe that he has assulted some of the women sexually but I dis not have enough evidence to prove it.

If you are one of the unfavorable ones, you'll get fed your food last. You have no control over your meds, they dish out the meds on the wrong time of day. If you require medical attention, good luck. One resident passed away while there. He was new, and the owner promised to leave the air conditioning on. Well needless to say it was very hot. He died from heat exhaustion. The owner even sang the song "another one bites the dust". So callous and disrespectful. The electricity got turned off twice by HECO for non-payment. The owners didn't care for me because as a former business owner I'd question the reasons for not having enough food to feed the residents. He would yell at me "you'll get fed when I feed you". Unreal, he even had a mistress that would sleep over when he didn't want his wife to know. All in all it was a pretty bad place to reside. I heard one of the tenants complaining about bedbugs. In the first week I had not seen any, but by the second week I had bites all along my legs. There was even bedbugs in my pillow. My PCP took note of what was happening and filed a formal complaint. I hope they shut him down. The home is nice, but the owners have mismanaged the property and the tenants. They were even late paying their housekeepers. They bed 3 people to a room. Altogether there were 11 people in that house when I was there. 2 full baths, 1 kitchen and 2 refrigerators/freezer. But still there wasn't enough food or money for electricity and wi-fi. Find somewhere else. There's got to be someplace better than this!

At the Surprise store (14063 W Grand Ave, Surprise, AZ 85374), I regularly notice the same individuals there every day. They seem to know exactly when new carts are brought out and quickly grab specific items, almost as if they already know what's on the carts before looking through them. While it's possible they are simply there often and have good timing, it gives the impression they may have prior knowledge of what's coming to the floor. I wanted to share this observation with you in case it's something you'd want to look into.
