Security staff are relentlessly rude and will put out the person on the receiving end of a scuffle rather than the instigator. SMDH! Expect to jettison what few belongings you might have. Needed an electrical outlet to run my CPAP at night. I had to jump through hoops for days to get moved to a bunk near an outlet. Then other guys would unplug my machine in the middle of the night to misuse the outlet to charge their phones. Do not leave anything of the slightest value unattended--it WILL be stolen. If you want to lock your storage drawer you will need to foot the bill for a lock. Avoid, even if it's your last resort.

Their staff is amazing. Especially Taylor! She has done so much to help people connect with housing, work, rehabilitation and medical care. She goes above and beyond always. 6 days a week the guests are able to get water, clothes, showers, a hot meal and assistance with housing and resources. Taylor and the staff at André House protect their guests, serve them faithfully and do it with a smile. Andre House is a critical resource for so many living on the streets of downtown Phoenix. I have on video, a security guard who threatened to throw those court documents out into the trash along with sentimental items that were left for my loved one that have in the past comforted him. These items are what remain of his deceased parents and include his grandmothers urn. Despite police confirmation he is there- This facility does not act in their residents best interest even when on video.

It is safe and secure with security guard and strict clearance for visitors. My friend has been staying there for three months since having the worst summer ever. Now she has opportunity to be surrounded by a caring, professional community conducive to her recovery and stabilization.
