When my mother was released from rehab care, she was supposed to go into Assisted Living. The place my mom wanted to go wasn't really going to work for her so, in a stressed panic, I started to look around for a place. I didn't know what I should be looking for and I was scared. I ended up on Yelp looking for assisted living facilities. I came across Arizona Senior Options and read the reviews. I wasn't really familiar with placement services but the reviews were so heartfelt, I called. I spoke with Denisa and felt like I'd gotten a thousand pound rock off my chest. Denisa was with me for every step. She walked me through questions. She followed up (she is the Queen of following up!). She took me to a really nice home and, although we saw other places, the first place was so nice, clean and pretty that I was hooked! Denisa would check in with me, check in with the assisted living folks, check in to ensure my Mom was set up for her doctor's appointments. She asked my mother her favorite ice cream when she first met her and then brought her some later. When my mother needed hospice, I called Denisa for recommendations (although by that time I was out of my mind and made the mistake of using the hospital's recommendation). Denisa was a constant. One of those rare people who take their knowledge and do good with it. I would never have been able to get through all that I needed to without her advice, her empathy, her smarts and her commitment.

Laura mentioned that my father could 'die enroute to hospital,' and that 'doctor would remove existing fluids from his lungs in the morning.' Callously, Laura spoke about my father's imminent death issue WHILST MY FATHER WAS CONSCIOUS AND AWARE OF HER MALICIOUS,CRUEL ADVICE. I left facility shortly thereafter, as Laura discouraged fire department from removing father to hospital,subsequent to my having phoned 911 Laura is an 'Angel of Death,' and should not be a medical professional. Danielle was especially attentive to our family's needs. The private room was comfortable, clean, and climate controlled, with access to the sunlight outside and a chair comfortable to sleep in. Best of all there were no restrictions. We could visit any time. We even brought in my family member's derpy cat that doesn't blink. He's on the catism spectrum. The lobby is a bit small and dated with a strangely-placed TV, but at least it's cozy, with wifi, plus they have free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water. No waffle iron yet. If you need anything else, a giant market is just steps away. I highly recommend this location, even though they don't have returning clients.

I visited several 'facilities', but my last stop was OP, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, not just to me but to my mom! We were embraced with their warmth, kindness and knowledge. My mother was a nurse, and her assessment of her care was, "They are excellent". In December of 2022, my mother-in- law fell and fractured her wrist. From the hospital, she was sent to rehab. She had trouble doing PT because her toe nails were long and painful. They needed to be clipped. The rehab would not clip her nails. The week before Christmas, on a Friday, she/I was given a 5 day notice of discharge. I immediately called Orchard Pointe-Surprise, and within 3 days, my mother in law was moved in and settled! She was cared for, loved on and treated with respect. The last six days of her life, staff members from administration, to caregivers, to transportation, and maintenance, came to pay their final respects and show me love and support. No place is perfect, but Orchard Pointe- Surprise was perfect for my family members. ~Eileen

They speak hopefully, lovingly and faithfully and it really reflects in the faces and eyes of those who live here. They are committed to loving the residents and you see it!
