This place has good pizza, good slices that were reheated quickly. There's a lot of staff and a lot of orders coming in, both inside and outside the building. There are a lot of complaints about the pizza, but people keep coming back, and I thought it was really good. I ordered several slices, and they were a reasonable price with a reasonable wait time. I was in and out in 5 minutes even though there were a lot of people. Both the inside and outside seemed very busy, all the tables were taken, and people were enjoying their meals. Very disappointing experience -- and no response from management We placed an online takeout order from Little Mia's in Lavallette on Saturday, August 1, and were given a 7:00 PM pickup time. We arrived at 7:00 only to find out that our vegetable pizza hadn't even been made yet. Meanwhile, our pasta dishes were already finished and sitting on the counter with the salads placed on top of them. While we waited for the pizza, the pasta was getting cold and the salads were getting warm and wilted. Unfortunately, the customer service made the situation even worse. The woman working behind the counter was extremely short, rude, and visibly irritated with customers. We were initially told it would be another 10 minutes. About 20 minutes later, when another customer asked about his order, she became aggressive and dismissive toward both him and me. At one point, she even attempted to cancel our order even though it had already been paid for online. When we finally received our food and got home, we discovered that the vegetable pizza had clearly been rushed. The dough was not cooked all the way through, and there were holes in the crust. You couldn't even pick up a slice without it falling apart--we had to eat it with a fork. Our order totaled over $74, including an online convenience charge and non-cash adjustment. For that price, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the food to be properly prepared and reasonably close to the promised pickup time. What is especially disappointing is that I emailed the restaurant directly about this experience before posting a public review. I explained exactly what happened and gave them an opportunity to address it. It has now been more than two weeks, and I have received no response whatsoever. Mistakes happen, restaurants get busy, and I completely understand that a Saturday night at the shore can be hectic. What bothered me most was how the situation was handled, the condition of the food we ultimately received, and now the complete lack of response after reaching out privately. While waiting in a long line in this tiny space, the woman in front of me asked for two plain slices to go. She even requested that they not heat them up because the wait was already so long. The cashier told her they had run out of plain pizza and she had to pick from whatever was left, which looked like it had been sitting out all day. With no other option, she reluctantly took the sausage slices and stated she will pick the toppings off. How does a pizza place run out of plain pizza and not make more? Would give zero stars if I could. Terrible service and food was basic. Went there with my family and we waiting an hour for one pasta dish, one slice of pizza, one wrap and one cheese steak. When we received our food the cheese steak has Kraft American cheese slapped on it. One apology for the delay and then the excuse was that they were short staffed. Although the food here is ok, I am extremely disappointed with the service. After being on hold for about 10 minutes, we decided to drive over to place our take out order since when I tried calling back, there was no longer a phone connection .
