0 Stars Absolutely Terrible! Placed our order for breakfast and waited 45 min then asked how much longer and food had not even been started! Can't tell you how the food was because we left! Service started off good but never even got a refill on our coffee. I would give the benefit of doubt that it was busy but it was not and even if it was the place is not very big! Don't think I will give it another chance either because as I was telling a friend about the experience they had a similar story! So that's that! Very sad! read more

It is my understanding that the chef cooks one meal at a time, therefore we waiting about 1 hour for our food. I went with friends and one of them had been here before and warned me about how long it takes to get your food. I had two glasses of unsweetened tea with my meal and the cost without tip was $18.00 and change. A big price and a long wait for delicious food. read more

First time and was very pleased. Had the greek omelet with hash browns and rye toast. All food was do e perfect. Waitress was pleasant and spot on. Owner came out to see how I liked my food. We had breakfast at Little John's and it was absolutely the best diner food I've had. The biscuits were fluffy, the hash browns were crispy, and my corned beef hash was amazing. Our little kids ordered French toast with bacon and the servings were actually kid-sized! My daughter said she is sad we don't live in Winter Haven because she wants to eat that food again and again. Our server was really sweet and attentive as well. The restaurant is close to Legoland, just a few minutes away so a great stop for anyone who is in town for that. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely return to Little John's. read more

WOW what a great diner!! They're open from 8:00am-2:30pm with breakfast, lunch, salads, appetizers, and sides on the menu. I had the philly beef and cheese with sweet potato fries and cole slaw. The sandwich normally comes with American cheese which I don't eat, so provolone cheese was added. It was hot and seasoned well and the sweet potato fries that came with the cole slaw and sandwich, were outstanding! The serving was large enough that I took half of it home. Our first visit will definitely be the first of many. The corn beef hash and two eggs with hash browns and a biscuit was delicious. The hamburger with fries was perfect. All the food arrived at the table hot, which is not always the case in many restaurants. Our server was patient as we decided on our order, checked on us often and kept the coffee mug filled. The biscuits are delicious, the hash browns are nice and crispy and so so tasty, the bacon and sausage are all amazing, the eggs were fluffy and just literally the whole breakfast menu is great. I'll have to come back to try lunch but breakfast wise, this place is great, it really blew me away. It was a small wait but that just tells me it's fresh cooked and it was well worth that wait.
