The veggie biryani (and garlic naan on the side).
    Andrew R.

Came here twice in the last week since I was in Macon, and both times it was excellent. The one time, I got the vegetable biryani, the other, the chana masala. Their chana masala remains delicious, and their veggie biryani hit the spot. I ordered spicy, and so it had a wonderful burn on top of the blending of flavors of the other spices and vegetables, and the portions were large enough that when I ate it with naan, I had enough to serve as leftovers the next morning. The restaurant is still a bit short staffed, but the food is absolutely first rate.

Very fast service on my called in order. Great location if you're walking downtown, a little hard in parking. Also have a few simple rice dishes.

    Korma

This is the best Indian food in macon. The korma is literally to die for and the service is excellent as well. If you haven't been yet, stop in!!!

I don't know what I'm missing here but between the food and service this place is an absolute no-go for me. I realize that staff is difficult to come by these days, but shouldn't your staff know what is on the menu, be able to tell you what is in a dish and remember your order? The young lady that waited on us did not know anything about the menu, we had to repeat things to her several times and was just utterly clueless. I had the fried chickpeas for appetizer. They were decent and the reason they are getting two vs one stars. The garlic naan was flavorless, which I didn't even know was possible and the daal fry tasted like water. Not even photo worthy.

    Paneer Bhurji

I haven't actually had sweet Indian food before; it was quite interesting. We had a group of six people and I was able to try various dishes. The chicken korma was sweet, but good. The vindaloo chicken was decent. The butter chicken was also decent. The paneer bhurji that I had was sweet and not very good. Our waitress said it was her favorite. I am afraid that this just wasn't my favorite Indian food. Good luck if you choose to go here. - He Said

Hubby really enjoyed his meal. The food, even the mild, was too spicy for my liking. Portions were adequate. The price was fair.

Would this be a good place to bring a group of visitors from Southeast India for lunch or dinner?

I would suggest you try the buffet before you take your friends there so that you will be familiar with the foods. That way, when you speak with your friends, you can ask them if that's what they like. The restaurant owner is very nice and I'm sure… Read more

OMG, it's take-out only (for now), but it was some of the best food I have ever eaten. If you're in the area, try it! I got spicy (despite the label, it wasn't melt your face off level hot-- just pleasantly lip tingling), but they have something for everyone-- even if you don't enjoy spicy things. Even better, everything is packaged fresh and ready to go/ pack for lunch/ take out onto the lake/ whatever. The trays are completely sealed, so you don't have to worry about a mess in your car/cooler/lunch bag. They even make their paneer fresh in-house and roast/blend their own spices and curries. I also enjoyed sipping my first ever ThumsUp cola. They have some other food stuffs and Indian wares for sale there too. Treat yo'self! For the best selection, order ahead-- but you can do so easily from their website. You will not be disappointed! My picture is a lousy depiction of the carefully prepared deliciousness that I enjoyed, but I wanted you to see how they packaged the food.

He was a very cool guy and even helped carry my food to the car because my hands were full with my son and his car seat, which I truly appreciated. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and full of flavor. I ordered the goat curry with plain white rice and a side of onion salad. Everything tasted amazing and you could tell it was made fresh. My total came to about $27 and some change, which felt very reasonable for the quality and portion size. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and looking for good, flavorful food and friendly service.

Although it's small and has only two tables, food is prepared once it's ordered, so it's really fresh! Best thing here was the tandoori half portion that we ordered. It was flavorful and the salad underneath had a nice crunch and made the meal more refreshing. I would get it again if I were to return. The curries, green chicken saagwala and bhuna murgh masala, were spiced but not spicy. We would've enjoyed them more had they been spicy, and I expected the bhuna murgh to be because it said hot & spicy, but it wasn't. The small garlic naan we ordered were alright. They tasted good and were indeed small, yet for some reason the middle was dry and crunchy while the outer was soft and fluffy. We got takeout, and I just wish we got the samosas we ordered. We should've checked, but we didn't, and it was too late to really go back.

Unlike the previous Indian restaurant in this location, there's no buffet, but it has a more classy, upscale feel. Waitstaff are quick, friendly, and helpful. Okay, on to my order in particular. So I wanted Indian food, and finding that this place had replaced Curry Mantra, decided to give it a try. I ordered the Goat Sukha, which is a dry curry, since I figured I always get a stewed goat curry and should branch out. I also ordered a garlic naan and a house cabernet sauvignon. It was an excellent meal. As the curry was dry rather than stewed, there were some pieces of the goat that were a bit tough, although most was moist, chewy, and tender. I ordered the meal as India Hot, and it was exactly what you expect from India Hot in most Indian restaurants (not as hot as Thai Hot in a Thai restaurant, but still gives an intense burn, if that's your thing). As in any good curry, you could get all sorts of other spicy flavors besides just the intense spiciness. I also ordered a garlic naan. Here, there was a slight mix-up, with me getting buttered naan rather than garlic naan, but the server realized that there'd been a screw up without me pointing in out, and so they brought me garlic naan even after I'd accepted the buttered naan. The cabernet was solid for a House Cabernet. The naan was absolutely astounding. All told, if you want to get Indian food in a slightly more upscale environment, get a meal from 7 Spices. Note: There's no weekday buffet, at least as far as I can tell. All told, if you want delicious Indian food in Warner Robins, 7 Spices is an excellent choice.
