I have three words to describe my experience working with OC Home & Family: fast, effortless and…read moresuccessful. Here's our situation: -Full-time working parents in need of a nanny for toddler. Here's what's great about Beatriz: -Beatriz is the owner and has a vested interested in finding you the right nanny. -Her mind is a Rolodex of nannies. You tell her what you need, she'll find the right person. -She's honest; she'll tell you the pro's and con's of each person. -She is patient. She gives us time to think through what we want in a nanny and will ping us occasionally if she doesn't hear from us but she didn't harass us with emails/phone calls. If you tell her, hey I'm busy but I'll reach out to you when I'm ready, she gets it. -Beatriz works *fast*; she found us 4 nannies to interview in a day and all of them beat our expectations. -Most importantly Beatriz LISTENS and she GETS IT. I felt my requirements might be a little different than some of her other clients but she satisfied every single one of them based on the ladies she sent over for interviews. Here's what's great about OC Home and Family nannies: -OC Home and Family takes the time to include a detailed resume, references, reference letters and a photo of the nanny. -All nannies will have to undergo a background check. Some nannies are CPR certified. -OC Home and Family pre-screens all nannies and sets up all appointments so all you need to do is just interview. It's been 3 months with our nanny that Beatriz found for us and we *love* her. Most importantly, my daughter loves her. She is part of our family and I can't imagine what we would have done if I had not found her through Beatriz/OC Home and Family. I recommend Beatriz/OC Home and Family to anybody with nanny needs.

Elle and Azie made the transition to daycare so seamless and provided an abundance of updates about our son's progression to make us completely comfortable. We love the daily updates of the activities that they work on - the crafts are the cutest and really show intention in what the class is learning everyday. The activities are all rooted in some type of development and we love seeing all of the creativity that goes into making each day different and fun. Our son loves outdoor play and the playground set up is really great. Plenty of space and age appropriate toys outside to release his wiggles during their outdoor time. We are truly so fortunate to have found someplace as special as Little Angels! The entire staff takes health and safety seriously and we appreciate all of the coordination and attention to detail. We are so thankful and look forward to bringing our daughter to Little Angels to join our son in the future!

Elle, Marlen, Azie, and Bianca care for the children with so much love, patience, and kindness. Our daughter is the youngest in the group, and they are always intentional about including her in activities while ensuring she feels safe, supported, and well cared for. We also love the structure of the daily programs they have in place. It's clear how thoughtful and engaging each day is, and it brings us so much joy to watch the privately shared videos for parents through their Instagram -- seeing our daughter learning, playing, and thriving truly makes our day. After a few months of attending twice a week at 10 months old, we're now increasing her schedule to four days a week as she approaches 14 months -- a decision we feel completely confident about. She's always excited to be dropped off, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing she's spending her days happy, learning, and building friendships. We genuinely love Little Angels, and highly recommend it!

We have been using this nanny agency for almost 6 months. Having a live-in postpartum nanny help…read moreyou with your baby 18 hours a day sounds like a dream but sometimes can be more stressful than anything else. We have used 3 nannies from this agency so far and I had communication issues with all of them. The nannies are very stubborn and stuck in their own ways. They have a difficult time following direction and instead insist on doing things the way they want to. The first nanny we had was constantly making phone calls on the clock and refused to heat up the milk prior to feeding our baby. The second nanny was better, she helped keep our home tidy, and was good with our baby. She was probably the best nanny we had from this agency. Unfortunately, she injured her back and had to leave our family earlier than planned. Which brings us to our current and final nanny from this agency. She's a little older so she can't help carry the baby in her car seat up the stairs. She's often on her iPhone watching Chinese dramas. She also decided to hang up her dirty underwear and bra on our hallway bathroom towel rack. Additionally, she seems to have a lot of unsolicited advice on how we should dress our baby. She doesn't cook for us or do the baby's laundry. She doesn't even know how to follow directions ie shoves the nipple of the bottle in my bottle averse baby's mouth & ignored me when I told her "no". It doesn't seem that this agency takes the time to really vet out these nannies, instead hiring whomever applies. The agency also takes a while to respond to any text messages which is also incredibly frustrating. I highly recommend spending a little extra coin and using a different agency. Especially if you are a first time parent.

She is patient, dependable, and very attentive to my grandmother's daily needs, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Fanny helps with home-cooked meals, light tidying and organization, and most importantly, taking my grandmother to doctor's appointments and making sure everything runs smoothly. She communicates clearly in mandarin which has made my grandmother feel comfortable and respected. It's not easy to find someone who is both practical and genuinely caring, and Fanny has been exactly that. We're very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to families looking for reliable part-time elder care. We highly recommend My Asian Nanny!

I really do not want to write such a review for Maria America, but if I don't write this, I fear…read moresomeone will have the same issues I've had. First of all, Maria America should acknowledge that it is an agency for women with immigration problems and challenges. So, when you go to the agency, you have to expect that people are going to be flaky, inconsistent, and have "emergencies" all of a sudden and have to go back to Mexico. So, while the person is cleaning or caring for you home, it's great, then all of a sudden, they can't. So that part is difficult from a planning perspective. If regular changes to who is working for your family doesn't bother you, then Maria America's placements won't be an issue for you. The women are otherwise generally kind and sweet. From a professionalism standpoint, Danny is quite literally the rudest person you'll encounter. He starts off nice (as anyone would) but after a few encounters shows that he is short, curt and rude. Danny is the owner's son and has the sort of attitude you might expect from someone who did not start the business and does not understand that customer service is of paramount importance in this industry. I recommend that if you do decide to call Maria America, deal directly with the owner, as Danny is what makes you think the FBI should investigate this operation. He is shady and the way he conducts himself and makes placements is unethical and problematic.
