The box is located in Sara Sims park south of the racquetball courts. It is a single post with a door and no shelves inside. Today, the contents looked to be some magazines and other books. The nature center has plenty of free parking and overflow parking for when they stage events. The center was completed in 1996 and has aquarium tanks, interactive displays, and a gift shop. I was surprised to see the array of animals on display. There were two adorable baby alligators, a charming owl helping visitors at the desk, and several snakes and turtles including a diamond back terrapin who stole my heart with his peek a boo act. The center offers educational programs for both children and adults. Restrooms are located on the outside of the building. Outside there are more than 2 miles of trails through pine flatwoods and oak and palm hammocks. Along the trail are interpretive signs, benches, and an elevated blind that hides you as you look across the prairie for wildlife. If you are lucky you may spot deer. There is also a butterfly garden, and marsh viewing blinds. On my walk I saw a black racer. By the time I blinked he was gone. I have been to many nature centers and this one is exceptional as well as the park it is in. I loved my visit and hike along the trail before tropical storm Eta set in. This is a wonderful resource to educate people about Florida's ecosystem and the plants and animals that inhabit it. It is important to note the center is closed Sundays through Tuesdays. The nature trail is open even when the center is closed.

For my trip to West Palm Beach, I reached out to a couple of spots and The Studio 1016 was quick to respond and super easy to work with. I reserved a private office for two of us one day which cost $50. We were able to use their printer and scanner, coffee machine, and even free soda/La Croix from the cooler. The space felt quiet overall, but you're able to talk freely. Some nice light music was playing in the background which I didn't mind. The location is about a block away from Grand Public Market which is a score for lunch, snacks, or more coffee. There's a parking lot, as well as street parking. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking The Studio out if you're in need of a space!

When I originally looked it up by name, it came up on Worth Avenue with a note saying that it was closed. Turns out this was the place that had been that store but was moved to a less expensive location. The gal working said that store had been owned by her mother -- who was currently working at a show. Meanwhile, I can see that this would have been a very popular place there and will be so here as well. It was located right around the corner from the tea room where my girlfriend and I had lunch. We saw the sign saying $10 jewelry and that brought us in to look. Outside there were a few displays and for $10 there were quite a few intriguing and charming pieces on sale. Inside, the two small rooms also had a few areas where jewelry had been marked down. My girlfriend immediately zeroed in on a pair of earrings and a bracelet that went perfectly with her outfit. The small store has a lot of inventory so you would certainly find something you can't live without! I like a certain type of bracelet and they had four of them! I can't usually wear costume (that is non real gold or platinum) as I'm allergic but I can wear costume bracelets. All four of them were so pretty that I had a hard time deciding which one to buy. Of course, the one I selected wasn't on sale, but I'm not complaining. It was a very good price. I'd definitely come back here in a heart beat. It was fun browsing. And I'm sure I'd find something else to add to my collection. You would too!
