I needed a part for my Hobie mirage drive that was extremely difficult to find. I contacted Nautical Ventures in North Palm for assistance and I was pleasantly surprised with the people who work there. Not only were they helpful but also friendly and efficient. I would also like to highlight Alex in the kayak and parts department went out of his way to search for the need parts time and again until he found the unusual pieces that I needed. I would highly recommend this store for anything regarding water sports. read more

Purchased a 2-person kayak from here with a carbon shaft mantaRay paddle. Excellent service from Adam, who didn't rush me. Excellent price and quality. read more

Nate, the service manager and the whole team at Nautical Ventures in N Palm Beach are AWESOME!! I recently brought my boat in for its annual service and bottom painting. The techs, Darian & Charlie did a great job getting the boat running like new. When I got home, I noticed a minor glitch. I called Nate and he immediately scheduled his tech to come to me, at my dock and resolve the issue. That's really service Above & Beyond!!! THANK YOU for job well done!!! read more

We went there to buy a couple of kayaks because we had friends in town. So we wanted everything now. They were very helpful and the young man who helped us (Skyler) even did a same evening delivery for us! Their prices are reasonable and they even went above and beyond to work to get us a discount on a peddle upgrade we wanted. I will go back for all of our boating needs. Pretty simply great! read more

What a fun afternoon! The rental can't be beat! Best bang for my buck. I got a half day paddleboard rental and they threw in a large dry bag since I didn't have one. I paddled leisurely to peanut island to snorkel. Awesome day. read more

The bottom job that was done had paint pealing off. It was only 6 months old. The vendor they subbed the job out to died. They said no problem bring the boat back. When I picked it up 4 days later the complete bottom was redone.... Two coats primer, two coats Pettit. NO CHARGE. I have been using them for 5 years. They are wonderful. Thanks Daniel appreciate your help in getting my problem corrected. Your company truly guarantees their work. read more

We had the most amazing experience here. Davin went over and beyond helping us to make our purchase. First we got to try out the pedalboard right there. I was sold on it right on the spot. My boyfriend decided on a pedal kayak. Davin helped us find the best way(and it took a lot of brainstorming) to rig it up to the Jeep. She made sure we were totally satisfied and this company is top notch and truly lucky to have her. They even checked up on us a few weeks later to see how it was going. AWESOME!! I highly recommend this place or any of there locations. read more

This is the sister store that I bought my kayak seven years ago. They fixed my drive and charged a reasonable price. Staff was very knowledgeable. I will do business again with this store read more

We bought our kayak here a little over a year ago and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They walked us through the different types and what each one is best for. We wanted to get one to just paddle around and explore in the intracoastal. They had a large selection in store and we were able to take them down a down and sit in them to find the one that we liked best and was comfortable. We went with the Hobie Odyssey. And because it was a year old model, they gave us a discount and the kayak came with the seats and paddles. They explained the warranty info in depth. They also helped us strap it into our truck. After we got home, we had a few questions and also realized one of our dry storage containers was cracked. They told us to bring it in and exchange for a new one. We love our purchase and have been out on it many, many times. If you want more info on kayaks or are just browsing, this is the place to come to. They even sell used kayaks and you can try them out before you buy. They are located right on the intracoastal. They also have boats and supplies available for purchase as well. read more

Thank you to Glenn. I bought my first kayak and the racks to place it on the top of my car. Glenn was super helpful in helping me select which Kayak would be best for me. Also when the racks came in, he put them on himself, with assistance from another guy. They also taught me how I could load the kayak on my own and tie it down. I would also like to thank Steve, who gave me a lot of recommendations, and good tips on how to do things and future kayaking trips. I would recommend shopping here they have a wide assortment of kayaks, paddle boards, and all sorts of fun water sports equipment. read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would because this place went above expectations. Steven is very knowledgeable about paddle boarding. He really took the time to teach how to secure the paddle board over my jeep with ease. I got a killer deal on my board and paddle. Chris is awesome! He went out of his way to help me with my board down to the launch. Starting this hobby can be really scary but Adventure Times welcomed me as a beginner. They have a private launch for customers with restrooms and ice cold water for a hot day. The experience was first class. I couldn't have asked for a better day. read more

Anthony is the best here. If you ever need kayak related questions or purchase, come talk to Anthony. Great guy, knows quite a bit, and very helpful. read more

Great place and definitely recommended. Do the private tour with paddleboards at least with snorkel. We did kayaks too and was a great day out. Thanks. read more

Had a great time here. They don't nickle and dime you if you go over on the time (half day or full day, not by hour or minute). AND I think the price is very reasonable to begin with. The canal was flat, calm and fun. It was too rough when I went to go out on the inter-coastal or get to any of the islands unfortunately, but I'll definitely be back to try again! TIP: If you are paddleboarding, get the true paddleboard instead of their versa-board option. read more

Took my Paychex Sales Team out Paddleboarding on Peanut Island out of the Riviera Beach Marina in Palm Beach County a couple of weeks ago. The guys at Adventure Times Kayaks were awesome, we all had an excellent time and learned how to paddleboard in no time. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and will work with you regardless of your age or expertise level. I strongly recommend giving them a call at 561-882-7218 or visiting their website at www.kayakkayak.com We had a blast! Go Check it out ASAP read more

I do not usually write reviews but Mike the service manager at North Palm beach store is outstanding. They replaced my mercury motor that was recalled by merc. He said he would do this in a day or two at most and when he got the motor it was just as he said. In two days I was back on the water and it ran perfect. Great service team and very professional would definitely highly recommend. Tom and Alex are also very pleasant and great to deal with. Thanks Nautical Ventures read more

Renting paddles boards here is a complete waste of time. We reserved 2 paddle boards and a couple of kayaks on a Tuesday morning. When we arrived, we waited at the desk for 20 minutes. When the 2 gentlemen returned, we were told they had only 1 paddle board left (despite the reservation). We wasted half the morning unloading the car, waiting at the check in desk, and reloading the car. If you're interested in making a reservation, consider it useless. read more

For a company that sells an "adventure experience" I'm left with nothing but bad experiences. The owner was a real jerk to us and my friends. The only reason we went there was because one of our friends bought a kayak from there before. Also, it looks like they cut the kayaks in half after they are used? That seems very wasteful. I won't be back here, and there are plenty of places to launch your own kayak from in the nearby area. read more

Stay away!!!! The owner is incredibly rude. He actually kicked me out of the store for asking if he rented anything other than plastic SUPs. He called me a few names too! Go to Blueline in Jupiter if you're looking to rent a stand up paddle board. They have a large selection, much better quality and they are very helpful. read more

Staff is extremely unfamiliar with boat products sold. Repair staff employees a thief or thieves; as a new cooler was stolen from my boat when in for engine service. read more

My dad was in town visiting and we were looking for something interesting to do on Saturday afternoon. We decided to rent kayaks and looked around and found adventure times. The price was reasonable and the location was great for getting out to MacArthur State Park. The service was fine, although they made us carry our own kayaks down to the water and back up again when we got back. Contrary to other reviews, the owner was friendly to us. Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. read more

We went to rent a tandem kayak with the intention of buying it if it worked well for us. The owner Stephen and his employee Chris went out of their way to meet our needs. Their prices were good - more than competitive - and we received excellent service. read more

I had never been paddle boarding before, and coincidentally me and my friend ended up at Adventure Times right during Floatopia, which did not sound anything like what we had in mind. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful in making sure that we would have the best time we could, and directed us to his Northlake location. The staff at both locations were friendly and incredibly helpful, and helped us have an incredible time paddle boarding the canals for a serene day with nature. (at a great price) I will most certainly be back, and be recommending my friends here. read more

This place made renting kayaks and getting on the water a breeze. With a 2 year old in my lap and my 8 and 10 year Olds in there own kayak we had a great day on the water. The scenery on the water was great and the service was even better. read more

We purchased a couple kayaks and accessories from them. We got great deals on everything we bought and the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We thought it was exceptional service. Highly recommend them if you are in the market for kayaks-- all kinds. We shopped around for new and used and these are the best prices. Haven't rented from them but can't imagine the service wouldn't be as good. Don't understand the other reviews saying the owner wasn't nice. If he wasn't, he must have had a good reason. Also, they sell their used Kayaks unless they are damaged and unsafe. I know this for a fact because I have bought two. read more

I bought my first kayak from this place and the owner was great. He didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. I just bought a fish finder from them and they installed it for free. You can't beat that. I have referred a lot of my friends to this place because you can trust these guys. I will never buy from anyone else. Oh yeah they gave me a great deal on my kayak. read more

We bought two Kayaks and paddles from Nautical Ventures. We had been in there about a year earlier but other things came up. Davin took the time to explain the features and benefits of the various Kayaks. She and Jose scoured the back warehouse to find a color that was not on display. We got a good price and Jose delivered them within an hour and helped carry them to the backyard. This will be our place for Kayaks in the future. read more

Max was great to work with he was honest and quick to communicate with me. I was coming from 240 miles away and left no detail about the boat out. Max is an asset to the nautical venture team. I look forward to doing business here in the future read more

They rented us canoe kayaks for the ocean. Literally our kayak sank in the ocean and we were saved by a boater. Thank god we weren't killed. The owner Paul was rude and seemed as if he didn't care. Your welcome Paul for saving your boat. I would not recommend going there, EVER. read more

We took a double and two single kayaks out and crossed the intracoastal. We did a lap around Munyon Island and stopped on the beach for a little bit.
