The box is white and beige and has a single door. Mostly soft covers and some thin books today. A wide variety including the one that based the movie The Help and a Dean Koontz. It's based on the take a book leave a book concept, but nobody is keeping tab, so feel free to clear out your bookshelves at home, or take a few books without leaving any (though clearing a LFL out would be rather rude...) Lake Worth has plenty of LFL in the city and it's fun discovering them as I explore the city. I found this one as I was on the way to El Pueblo Chapin restaurant, (which is an excellent Guatemalan restaurant by the way). The box is well maintained and beautifully painted.

There is limited parking here, but you will be able to park against the curb on Andrews Road. The larger library is on a single post and has one door secured with a twist catch. Inside are two shelves. Most of the books are hardcovers lying on their side but the paperbacks were easy to spot. Some fiction, some thriller, a copy of the great Charlotte's Web and some mystery novels. Great options. This is charter number 80598. While the steward's name is not on the Little Free Library database map, it does have this caption, "Our LFL is inspired by our family's love of reading! The City of Sunrise is the first city in South Florida to install Little Free Libraries in its…read moremunicipality. This one was installed back in February 2013 as part of a service learning project by students in the Sunrise Leadership Academy. The Little Free Library movement started in Wisconsin in 2009. By installing little bookshelves in communities, the "librarians" hope to promote literacy and the love of reading, as well as a sense of neighborhood, by building free book exchanges worldwide. The concept is "Take a Book, Leave a Book." You are welcome to drop off your gently used books, and to help yourself to anything that catches your fancy. It's a library with no late fee! This one, built right by the playground in the park, is in a great location. I can imagine parents and children checking out the books, after an energetic hour in the playground. However, there doesn't seem to be a lot of usage though. Most of the time I pass by the library (repurposed from a newspaper stand) is rather empty. Hopefully more people will discover and use this little gem!

The library has decals on it that it is sponsored by the GFWC, which I believe could be the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Only three books inside the library. One had no cover and one had a torn cover. I would have added some but I'm a few weeks into this road trip and I've already donated all the books I brought with me. This beautifully painted library is located in Lake Worth Beach next to the gazebo along the…read moreboardwalk. From the library, there is a view of the beach and the grassy areas and it's a great spot to literally pick up your beach reading. I'm not sure if this is the same library as charter 28366 since that one has a sloped rood and this one has a peaked roof. Both have hand-drawn paintings, but they look different. As such, I'm thinking they are different. The library is blue with a yellow roof. A single door secured with an eye hook. Inside, a single shelf with a few books.
