This bright red library box is located along a mostly suburban street near the center of downtown Salisbury. It is very hard to miss. There is room to stop and browse.
The library is painted and has a silhouette of Snoopy lying on top. Adorable. The single door has a large window. Inside, a single shelf of books. Quite well filled but not overstuffed, there were a couple of fiction hardcovers, some romance / young adult books and such. Not a huge selection but sufficient for a small library.
This is charter number 29573 and the online listing has the steward's name. The caption reads, "Members of St. John's painted and installed their LFL in front of the Child Development Center for the children, parents and the entire community to enjoy the fun of reading and share their favorite stories."
