    Injury

It is very unsettling that this daycare is still business and impacting the lives of children. The price is very competitive, one of the lowest costs I've found, however the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". My kid is always injured by other kids (bites, kicks, hits, "accidents" outside - he has a scar on his face from getting scratched) and constantly states he doesn't like school because he gets yelled at a lot. The kids are bored here, which is probably why they act out, and it is no surprise because the teachers are always distracted on the iPads they have or doing their own crafts instead of helping the kids with theirs. I've personally observed teachers putting their hands on him to get his attention, making him give them hugs, picking him up, and violating his personal space even after he says no. I've personally observed breakfast, lunch, and snacks - these times consist of "teachers" serving food with their bare hands and sometimes utensils (depending what is being served) onto paper towels laid on the tables the kids play at. No plates and the children eat with their hands instead of forks/spoons. One teacher took a handful of bacon and started eating it and then passing it out the remaining pieces to kids sitting on the floor. I've entered in the code on the key pad to walk in, only to find the front room completely bare. Anyone could tailgate and walk right into the daycare and grab a kid because the front is often left unattended. It was 112 degrees outside and when I picked up my kid he was covered in sweat and was complaining "I have a headache because it was hot outside and I wanted to stay inside. I just want to play inside". The emails sent out to the parents are incredibly unprofessional and concerning since these are the people in charge of "teaching" the children. Ex: WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE CHANGE IN STAFF AGAIN WITH OUT #'S TEACHER. THE TEACHER THAT WAS IN THE ROOM WAS LET GO ON FRIDAY.FOR THE WAY SHE TALKED AND HANDLE HER ROOM. Ex: we are excited to let u know that we have a new teacher joining our family... thank u... They have gone through 4 teachers in 6 months in just my kids class alone. Some they have said were not following policies and others they will not say why they left. They are obviously not vetting the people that work there and it is incredibly concerning that teachers keep getting let go for how they are interacting with the children. If you want a safe, clean, and healthy place for your child to be at 0 - 12 hours a day, don't send them here.

Little einstein had santa come visit the kids.. ;)

Have been taking our son since June 2014 and we love it. He is in the giraffe room which is for one year olds and they teach him so much. He was in a home daycare prior to coming here and it was a hard transition for him but they were able to help him by keeping him busy and doing tons of crafts. They taught him sign language, and have helped us potty train him! How awesome is that? We love the camera feature as well. They feed the kids at specific times and well balanced meals. No juice. They encourage outside play and don't just have him in front of a tv all day like a lot of home daycares. Most my friends live in California but I recommend this place to everyone looking for amazing care for their little.

bitten 5 days in a row and the owner did nothing. I did file a report with the state. Good luck taking your child there.

During a season of complex family dynamics, the staff showed exceptional kindness, understanding, and professionalism. They provided a safe, stable, and deeply nurturing environment where my son was able to thrive during some of the most important early childhood developmental years. The Montessori approach to child-led learning was beautifully implemented. Beyond academics, my son gained incredible life skills... gardening, cleaning, food preparation, understanding personal space, and practicing etiquette. These practical skills built his confidence and independence in ways that extend far beyond the classroom. Today, he is thriving both socially and academically, and I credit so much of that foundation to his time at Spondeo. The director Andrea is one of the most kind, child-centered, and professional women I have ever met. She runs the school exceptionally well and is highly involved in the daily life of the students and teachers. You can truly feel her heart for children in everything the school does. We are so grateful for our time there and would wholeheartedly recommend Spondeo to any family looking for a nurturing, enriching Montessori education.

The care and attention he received in the infant room were exceptional, with the staff always providing individualized care (like easing him into the day with his favorite basket of balls), even sending us photos and updates throughout the day, which put our minds at ease. Now that he has transitioned to the toddler room, we continue to be impressed by how much he is learning and growing. The Montessori approach has truly supported his natural curiosity and independence. Whether it's through sensory activities, practical life exercises, or outdoor play, we see him thriving and hitting key developmental milestones like learning to communicate better (thank you sign language) and developing fine motor skills. The staff is loving, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's development, always encouraging his progress while keeping us closely informed about his day-to-day experiences. The facilities are clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed to create a warm and stimulating environment for the children. We also appreciate how the school fosters a sense of community among families, hosting events and providing resources that allow us to feel even more connected to our child's learning journey. When we were looking at daycares we considered other Montessori-based daycares (some independently owned and some franchise), and we're so glad that we chose Spondeo! We found that the franchise based Montessori daycares felt more adjacent to a regular daycare and didn't offer the same level of independence and problem-solving that we offer at home. Spondeo does such a great job respecting our child's abilities! We couldn't be happier with the level of communication, support, and involvement the staff maintains with us as parents. We highly recommend Spondeo Montessori to any parents looking for a nurturing, educational, and enriching daycare environment for their child. It has been the perfect fit for our family!

There's a real curriculum and structure, but the teachers weave so much genuine play and joy into everything the kids do. And the cleanliness? Top-notch. But what really keeps us coming back is the relationships. Our son started with Hannah, and they clicked instantly. Years later, our daughter had that same connection with her right away. Both kids have also been absolutely obsessed with Betsy and Fanny and they light up when they talk about them. We've also gotten to know some of the newer assistants like Kate and Ashlyn, and they've built such genuine bonds with both our kids. What impressed us most, though, is how the front office, Kim and Mon especially, make you feel genuinely cared for. We know turnover happens in daycares, and this team handles it really well. Because they're part of a larger network across multiple locations, teachers can transition between centers seamlessly. The kids often already know them or the teachers are deeply trained on the curriculum and processes, so they can jump right in and focus on what matters: the kids. That eases a lot of the uncertainty parents usually feel during transitions. The whole team makes you feel at home. That matters so much when you're trusting someone with your kids.

I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell the team really loves what they do. Our main teacher is always so happy around the children, you can feel her joy, and it really stood out compared to other places we toured. All the teachers are kind and smiling, and they take the time to connect with both the children and the parents. It's such a warm, supportive environment. Literally everyone is so nice! Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. They've also been incredibly flexible, willing to work with us to make sure our child feels comfortable, whether that means bringing a favorite stuffy from home or making food & drink accommodations. They even have an easy, healthy lunch ordering system, which has been such a plus for our busy mornings. There are always fun activities and themes planned, plus special events like Splash Days and the petting zoo! We get daily updates (naps, meal times) and photos, which we look forward to every day. Our child is always excited to go, and it's clear the other children are happy too. This location has such a cozy, close-knit feel, and the whole team is just wonderful. We're so thankful we found this place, it truly feels like a second home. Special thank you to Ms. Sydni, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Maressa, Ms. Diane, Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Jazmine, Ms. Mahjoba, and Ms. Penny, you've all made such a difference for our family

Dad just picked up from trial day, but I thought I would reach out to you as well. It was so nice meeting you today unfortunately, I don't think Ar'mias is ready for a preschool classroom that requires students to be potty trained. After spending the day with him, he definitely needs more one on one attention with a teacher assistant to officially potty train him, remind him to have gentle hands around his fellow students, assist him in keeping his shoes on both inside and outside the classroom for his safety, and to make certain he doesn't rip up books and other classroom belongings. I think you are definitely on the right track with getting him tested for speech and seeing what other ways the school district can assist you in your academic journey. Best wishes to you and your family! I instantly called her as this should have been a phone call and the message could have been delivered better. I'm all for feedback regarding my child but within FOUR hours of a 3 yr old TODDLER being in an unfamiliar place not knowing ANYONE this is what you came up with? there was not one positive thing said about my child in that whole message or phone call! I Wasn't going to write this review but as the days go by the lack of emotional intelligence has became overly disgusting! Choosing to be in the childcare industry....DO BETTER! Respectfully. My child was never asked to leave ANY facility. I withdrew him as the the cost was not equivalent to the hours we needed once enrolled in an actual school district. When we came to tour your "facility" we informed your employee that he did not have the potty training completely down as he still have accidents and needs frequent reminders. Which her response was if he's able to go, pull up his pants, and wash his hands he's considered potty trained. If it was said at the first viewing we would have NEVER sent him for a FREE trail day! My daughter is getting the support she needs at school, and it's clicking! She comes home so happy and fulfilled, singing, dancing, and playing. I was initially so worried about putting her in daycare, as she was a Velcro baby and would always scream when she wasn't with me. But the environment is so warm and welcoming that she quickly became comfortable and now loves going to school. What makes this place truly special is the variety of enriching activities. My daughter helps take care of the chickens, tends the organic garden, and enjoys reading, drawing, dancing, and playing with her friends. The magic these teachers create in their classrooms is truly amazing--they know just how to care for my baby girl, and I feel so lucky to have found them. I also love how transparent and communicative the school is. I receive daily text message updates, so I always know what's going on with my daughter, which gives me so much peace of mind. The school worked with us on our budget and schedule, and I really appreciate how upfront they are with pricing and schedules on their website--no hidden surprises. Ms. Jennifer, the owner, made us feel like family from day one, and I'm so grateful for the warm, nurturing environment she's created. I honestly feel like we hit the jackpot with this preschool.
