DO NOT ENROLL HERE. my husband and I were trying to enroll our children and had discontinued services with other childcares (as our children were at two different care centers due to availability) when we decided to enroll our children here. my husband took a tour and I could not make it due to Work obligations, but we were told to fill out one sheet of paper and that they would be able to start the following Monday. Come to find out there was a slew of documentation which needed to be filled out prior to start, which was fine, except for the fact that we declined filling out the food form as well as the cream form for applying creams to children's rashes in private and non-private areas. When we decided to decline, we were told that we are unable to decline those forms and that we would not be able to enroll our children if we did not agree to allow them to apply cream to our children. This was very disturbing to hear. After speaking to their compliance officer, Heather, I was told that we should just find a new facility although we had already made arrangements to bring them here and disrupted our entire routine. They are definitely not following state law to allow parents the right to refuse to allow their children to have the application of ointments/creams to their children's nether regions further it is also illegal to require us to fill out the food form stating that they would get reimbursement when we were uncomfortable with sharing that information. This business is not running things how they should be nor legally, for that reason we will not be attending and I will be reporting them to the state. This is very disturbing. Do not send your children here if you are wanting to decline certain things to which parents are rightfully allowed to decline. read more

When I went to tour this daycare recently I was appalled by the poor state of this daycare. Upon entering there was an overwhelming smell of Lysol/Clorox cleaner and urine. The front office is extremely cluttered and small. It doesn't look well maintained at all. The staff were very unwelcoming and rude. It seemed as if they weren't looking for more children to join this daycare. There are groups of kids shoved into many different "rooms" they are separated almost by shelving/bookshelves closing these children into each section of the room, this causes they daycare to be extremely loud at all times. It is extremely cluttered and dirty. Seeing the state of the daycare and how they don't value the cleanliness of where these children are, I can't insure they will value the health and care of my child. I definitely won't be bringing my child here not only after reading these reviews but also due to my poor experience. read more

I've read through the other reviews here and I think one important thing to note is that, as parents we all take anything involving our children personally. Most of the complaints I am seeing are about behaviors of children being children. Your kids are gonna get hurt from scratches and mischief and general curiosity-unless you put them in a plastic bubble their whole life. Kids are gonna share germs and lice and all other nonsense because they are kids! Hell most adults still don't follow proper hygiene yet these people expect it of these kiddos? The bottom line is that this daycare is amazing. They are flexible to your parenting style, they communicate very well and offer options that most daycares (including larger chains like kindercare) haven't even dreamt of yet. The staff genuinely love all of the kids, not just the ones in their classrooms- ALL of them. They offer so much to our community at an economical price. That being said, not everyone will fit in here and finding the right daycare is like dating- sometimes you have to try a few to find the right one, sometimes you win on your first try. Regardless, you will find what makes you happy and the staff at LEP offer a lot so don't pass them up. read more

Absolutely do not recommend. Management is inexcusable on how they operate, my kids went here for over 2 years! They don't hold their teachers accountable. They absolutely do not understand kids or their behaviors nor do they wish to learn. When called out on things they unenroll your kids, child care is expensive. I'm sorry but we went to tour and let me tell you, my child will ABSOLUTELY not be attending! You could not pay me to allow my child to go here. For starters the teachers seem to have zero regard for the children and while I understand you can't watch every child the entire time the amount of children I saw running around, with no supervision whatsoever was astounding! It is very unsettling that this daycare is still business and impacting the lives of children. The price is very competitive, one of the lowest costs I've found, however the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". My kid is always injured by other kids (bites, kicks, hits, "accidents" outside - he has a scar on his face from getting scratched) and constantly states he doesn't like school because he gets yelled at a lot. The kids are bored here, which is probably why they act out, and it is no surprise because the teachers are always distracted on the iPads they have or doing their own crafts instead of helping the kids with theirs. I've personally observed teachers putting their hands on him to get his attention, making him give them hugs, picking him up, and violating his personal space even after he says no. I've personally observed breakfast, lunch, and snacks - these times consist of "teachers" serving food with their bare hands and sometimes utensils (depending what is being served) onto paper towels laid on the tables the kids play at. No plates and the children eat with their hands instead of forks/spoons. One teacher took a handful of bacon and started eating it and then passing it out the remaining pieces to kids sitting on the floor. I've entered in the code on the key pad to walk in, only to find the front room completely bare. Anyone could tailgate and walk right into the daycare and grab a kid because the front is often left unattended. It was 112 degrees outside and when I picked up my kid he was covered in sweat and was complaining "I have a headache because it was hot outside and I wanted to stay inside. I just want to play inside". The emails sent out to the parents are incredibly unprofessional and concerning since these are the people in charge of "teaching" the children. Ex: WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE CHANGE IN STAFF AGAIN WITH OUT #'S TEACHER. THE TEACHER THAT WAS IN THE ROOM WAS LET GO ON FRIDAY.FOR THE WAY SHE TALKED AND HANDLE HER ROOM. Ex: we are excited to let u know that we have a new teacher joining our family... thank u... They have gone through 4 teachers in 6 months in just my kids class alone. Some they have said were not following policies and others they will not say why they left. They are obviously not vetting the people that work there and it is incredibly concerning that teachers keep getting let go for how they are interacting with the children. If you want a safe, clean, and healthy place for your child to be at 0 - 12 hours a day, don't send them here. read more

The manager of the place is extremely rude and I overheard her daughter who has to be in her 30's say to a 5 year old boy that she was going to knock him out!!!! Absolutely horrendous!!! Research your daycare facilities moms and dads!!! Avoid this one at all costs!! This place has a laundry list of citations they receive every year!!! If you're looking for a good daycare at the same price and more quality then go to TutorTime! At least there they keep an eye on employees, don't let sick kids in, and the place doesn't smell like pee! read more

Have been taking our son since June 2014 and we love it. He is in the giraffe room which is for one year olds and they teach him so much. He was in a home daycare prior to coming here and it was a hard transition for him but they were able to help him by keeping him busy and doing tons of crafts. They taught him sign language, and have helped us potty train him! How awesome is that? We love the camera feature as well. They feed the kids at specific times and well balanced meals. No juice. They encourage outside play and don't just have him in front of a tv all day like a lot of home daycares. Most my friends live in California but I recommend this place to everyone looking for amazing care for their little. read more

We had a horrible experience with kindercare. This was the first time our children had been in daycare. We went and toured at least 10 Daycare's tying to find one to put our children in. It was exhausting! Little Einsteins was the last one we toured. I was a little skeptical and nervous but after entering and talking to Heather and meeting the staff, we knew it was the perfect fit!!! Marci and Heather are AWESOME!! We have 3 children and they love it here. The teachers are so sweet and caring. The cameras will give you a piece of mind. The electronic documenting of everything they do is awesome! Diapers are changed every hour. This is not normal and the state only mandates every two hours! I cannot day enough good things and as a health care professional and a mom of babies I feel safe knowing the care they are giving my children at Little Einsteins! read more

My two kids have been at Little Einstein since last June. We have not had any major problems arise, and they are pretty affordable compared to some of the other daycare centers in the area. My 5 year old has good days, and has bad days - the teachers seem to work with him pretty well and not let the situation get out of hand. My kids also love the staff! As parents, we love getting daily emails and having the option to check the cameras through out the day! read more

When I was in a search of a daycare, affordable, and close distance, Marci and Heather were quick to respond, answered all my questions, and made the whole profess easier for enrollment. This daycare is the only one in my price range that also offers camera monitoring. I thought it was impressive. My son got lice from here, was bitten 5 days in a row and there is no supervision. I feel bad for the staff because the owners don't do anything but collect checks and delegate all the issues to their employees to fix. I had a box full of diapers that I brought the week before but went "missing" when we came to get all of his stuff. The owners wouldn't even come out of their office to speak to me on our last day there. Good luck if you decide to take your child there. read more

Let me start by saying the only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the two employees I spoke to were friendly and did their best to answer any questions we had. We scheduled a tour and were already hesitant upon pulling into the parking lot as my husband pointed out their van had a flat and did not look well maintained at all. Upon entering we were greeted by the overwhelming smell of Lysol, and a very cluttered and disorganized front office. We were led through a maze of rooms in the dark (it was nap time) As I noticed several areas of random clutter and seemed very unorganized. We were instructed to remove our shoes to keep the floors clean for the babies crawling around (sounds good right?) The babies were all just sitting in jumpers/bouncers, one literally cried the entire time we were there and not one person attended to her. I understand there are a lot of kids and they won't get held or catered to the second they start crying but they also weren't interacting with any of them at all. They said they mopped several times a day but I cringed as I walked around and could feel crumbs clinging to my feet...this place made my husband and I completely rethink putting our daughter in daycare and after seeing all of the negative reviews from others and that the owner responds to anything negative by saying it has been flagged for violating the terms of yelp...YIKES no way I'm putting trust in people like that to care for my child! read more

My 2 boys just started little Einsteins and they love it !! They transferred from Kindercare down the street we had so many problems there but now I do feel stress free with them here . They love the staff, and food but most of all they were happy with all the great field trips they take here and they get 2 snacks !! Great job staff read more

I fought myself long an hard about writing a review for this school. After sitting with both owners who tried to justify the treatment of my child, I changed my mind about not sharing my experience with other parents who plan to enroll their children in this school. My son attended this school for a total of 4 months- and I'm not even sure if I can say it was a full four months. While at this school I had multiple issues with different things that were brought to my attention by my child and then a few things I stumbled upon myself. I could spend a ton of my time on here telling you how angry I am as a parent but what I'd like to share instead is the two incidents that I CANNOT get over when i think about the safety of my child. My son was threatened by another four year old in his classroom. The child was reprimanded for a scissor incident that occurred the day prior. The next day the child asked my son if he could use his pair of scissors. When my son told him no, he told my child he was going to- and I quote- "cut his neck." I walked passed multiple adults that evening and NOT A SINGLE ONE mentioned this incident to me, nor was it on his daily report. When I first brought it to the attention of the director Kim she apologized profusely for the fact that no one brought it to my attention. Upon my decision to leave, I requested a meeting with the owner where I was greeted by the owner and her husband. During this encounter Kim flat out lied and said that my son was not a direct victim of this incident but had overheard this happening to another child. Still confused as to why she would apologize if my son wasn't the main target of this other child in this incident... also confused as to why she honestly thinks I believe my son could have made up a story in such detail if it had nothing to do with him. The incident that occurred that was the final straw for me, happened just last Wednesday. I went to pick my child up, and when I got there he was sitting in clothes that he had an accident in. He was not soaking, but damp, which to me means that he had been sitting in soiled clothes for at least an hour. He smelled of pee and I could clearly see that his clothes were wet. When I picked him up there were THREE adults that were in the room, one of which my child told he had an accident yet NONE of these grown women thought to change my child or assist him into the CLEAN AND DRY clothes I had left in his cubby for similar incidents. These "wonderful" cameras they have in place serve no purpose as the only thing they are good for, are for the owner to justify what happens to your child while in their care. At our very long sit down, where I expressed my many concerns, I requested my last payment back. At first, I was only offered one weeks worth of my payment and the owners husband told me "I have to understand because he has people to pay" as if my child were just another paycheck attending their school and not acknowledging the fact that it was a huge inconvenience for me to pull my child from their center, pay an enrollment fee for him to attend another school and still pay my tuition for a two week period. Eventually, after I gave the owners husband the ultimatum of returning my money or me writing the review to reveal what really goes on inside this school, he agreed to refund my money.... that still was not enough for me. So here I am, writing my true feelings about how my child was handled. They promise quality care, safety, and a loving environment. Instead, you get a crap situation and a justification as to why you're questioning your child's safety. Don't even get me started about their bogus "state food program" that they claim to follow so closely or how my son came home beside himself because he had little to nothing to eat and felt sick enough to put himself to bed by 630. Anyway, after a long discussion with the owners, and the director I decided to pull my son from the school immediately and enroll him elsewhere. They advised they'd do me "favor" of "waiving my two week notice." Yeah... what a courtesy. You're paying what you would to put your child in a mainstream school. Save yourself the trouble and place them somewhere where you can leave them everyday and not question whether or not they are comfortable. I'm also not looking for a response from the owner. I see other reviews where she justifies the negative opinions of other parents. Save it. Nothing you can say can make me feel better about this experience. Thanks. read more

My nephew attends this preschool and I couldn't be more happy to see him attend Little Einsteins. I've seen so much growth in his interaction with other children and even his learning abilities. The times I've picked him up he's come out smiling eager to tell me what he did in Preschool. The first time I came I even got a tour of the facility and was happily greeted by Kari the director. I definitely recommend this preschool. read more

The owner isn't especially tactful in the way she approaches parents when an issue arises. Additionally, she doesn't seem to spend time in the classroom to observe the issues first hand to help her staff address behaviors more effectively. All of the staff would benefit from significantly more training. Teachers are often heard yelling at kids. The classrooms are chaotic with staff appearing overwhelmed. read more

We did a tour of this daycare this week and I was astonished. The director and front office staff is unprofessional. Upon walking through the door my husband and I were hit with the smell of rotting food and dirty diapers. After being taken through the facility it was very dirty the walls are dirty the floors had stuck on dirt and what I think was dried food. The one year old room had about 7 infants wandering aimlessly with two instructors walking around ignoring the babies. We couldn't get out of there fast enough and warn parents to stay far away!! read more

I was originally not going to write a review of my experience, but since I interacted with the owner on Facebook over this matter I feel like I must say something. (Please consider that since the public discussion on Facebook, many parents and two previous employees private messaged me about this facility and the owner's home daycare in support of my comments) My son is 4 years old, and I toured because of location. My son burned his hand on a tart warmer (ceramic heater that melts wax from the top) in the lobby. I couldn't believe they would have one not only accessible to a child's reach, but on the floor! I figured we were already there, things happen, and we might as well start the tour. The first thing I noticed was the two groups of kids, unsupervised, in front of two different TVs. Really? When I brought this up to the owner on Facebook, she said teachers use them as a computer/ learning tool, but I must exaggerate that there was no student/ teacher interaction. Maybe a tool so they don't have to interact, I'm sure of the intention. I was pretty upset at this point for the plain neglentful atmosphere. I continued the tour, and the person showing me the area mentioned the kids were heading outside to play. It's was 102F, in the middle of the summer! I asked to speak with the Director at this point to address these hazardous circumstances I had seen in less than 15 minutes. The director was no where to be found, I waited 15 more minutes to speak with an assistant director. She made an over exaggerated pouty face when I told her about my son's burned hand, with no shock. She explained that they bring the kids in after "their faces start getting red". For those who don't know, children are prone to dehydration, especially when running around when it is over 100 degrees outside! I am still baffled by the owner's response to my concerns on social media. Neglectful care, and no remorse for how they continue to handle these situations. read more

I just witnessed the Little Einstein van going to pick up children from my kids school, speed thru the 15mph school zone going atleast 30mph. Didn't even look before turning in, there were a bunch of junior high kids about to cross the road and they had to come to a quick halt as the van turned in front of them. I am so dissappointed. I don't have kids going to Little Einsteins, but if I did, I would want to know that they were being transported safely. If this driver did this in a residential neighborhood, I cannot imagine what they do on surface streets. read more

The director of the school Alayla is one of the most rudest unprofessional ladies my gf and I have ever had to encounter. She scolds the employees right in front of the parents. She talks so unprofessional even on the phone. If the owner ever wants to continue to make money and keep parents happy they need to make a change. We've seriously been looking into other schools just because of her. Someone more inviting and nice is what they need. Its our precious treasure were leaving there. The only other thing I hate about this preschool is that they have a stupid rule that you cannot take your child in after 10:00am. The owner needs to remove that immediately!! Its stupid!! Whether we bring them in for the last hour of the day it DOEST MATTER!! WERE STILL PAYING FOR THE DAY!! I liked this place but UNFORTUNATELY the MANAGEMENT was NOT FRIENDLY. The director would be rude to her staff and parents as well. Every time I came in she would be sitting on her phone. Hopefully new management will come and she will be replaced. If you choose to take your child to Little Einstein make sure Kari is no longer in the front. read more
